Definitely one of the best restaurants for a pizza in Brighton. Might just be the best. Pizza was 'Beautiful' served with a smile by Francesca. Must try kind of place, if you have not been go soon.

In a UK where good food it doesn't exist,this place is something which you have to try.One of the best pizza from UK,with pure italian ingredients and taste like in south Italy.In London maybe you will find more good italian restaurants,but in Brighton,I bet is the only one which is 100% pure italian with same good taste for food.The staff os very friendly and the place is super cozy and it send you back in Italy in a real tratoria where food has soul and very good taste.Big thumbs up for this place.

Best Italian food in Brighton, in my opinion, and I have not even tried their pizza yet. Great service! It's not very spacious with tables very closed one to another so you might feel a little overwhelmed. Unless you like to have a chat with guys next to you.

During my recent trip to Brighton, I had the pleasure of discovering what is, without a doubt, the best pizzeria in the city: "VIP Pizza". As an Italian, I'm always a bit skeptical when it comes to eating pizza abroad, but this time I was pleasantly surprised. Located in the heart of Brighton, "VIP Pizza" has a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the staff with warmth and professionalism, which immediately put me at ease. The place has a rustic but elegant appearance, with a wood-fired oven in plain sight that promises genuine and tasty pizzas. The menu is simple but refined, with an excellent selection of pizzas ranging from classic margheritas to more creative combinations. I opted for a pizza with Parma ham and rocket, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten outside of Italy. The dough was light and fluffy, with that perfect balance between crunchiness and softness, typical of true Neapolitan pizza. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality. In conclusion, if you are in Brighton and want an authentic and delicious pizza, you cannot miss this pizzeria, I am sure that even the most demanding palates will be satisfied. The combination of fresh ingredients, a welcoming environment and friendly staff makes every visit an enjoyable and memorable experience, definitely a must for anyone visiting Brighton and wanting to enjoy a pizza reminiscent of Italian pizzerias.

An extremely busy place with both traditional and Anglicised Italian food, (pineapple in pizza really?) with pretty efficient & friendly service. It's small and packed which all adds to the atmosphere.

Love coming to this place, always have the best experience. Food is incredible. I love how all the waiters are native Italian too literally feel like ive been transported to Italy everytime! If you are looking for authenticity & love Italian food then you have got to try this place THE BEST

Essentials when visiting Brighton: 1. Go to the Pier 2. Visit The Lanes 3. Lunch/dinner at V.I.P. Restaurant Popped into Brighton from London on Friday 19th for a few birthday drinks and feeling peckish popped into V.I.P. and as usual it didn't fail to impress.....consistently delicious. The way a pizza should be! (highly recommend Napoletana) On this particular evening we were looked after by the lovely VERINA. She was so pleasant and attentive and always seemed to be there without being noticed or intrusive. Thank you Verina and the rest of the team for your hospitality.....once again we left with happy stomachs and smiles on our faces! (ps. any possibility of opening a restaurant in London? 😜)

Great traditional feeling atmosphere and friendly staff. I can’t eat the pizza as I’m gluten free so sadly can’t comment on that, but the risotto di mare doesn’t taste fresh at all and all the mussels inside are pasty and white.

Very homely and authentic atmosphere, can feel a bit crowded and noisy at times but it’s 100% worth it given how amazing the food is! Great menu as well with a surprisingly good range of vegan options!

Amazing like always. Verina and all the staff are lovely. I came to eat alone and to draw and enjoy my time and they respected that and didn’t rush me at all. Even smiled. One of my favourite Italian restaurants in England. Having gone to many places in Italy, I can come here and relive that experience. Portions are big and the price is great. Be prepared to me amazed and in love. Calzone is the bestest of the pizza, you won’t regret.

What an exquisite evening. The staff were so friendly. Shout out to Verina as she was 10 x better than Vic but Victoria has a nice looking brother and his date was even better i would highly recommend to get close with the kitchen as your portion sizes will be bigger. All jokes aside VIP is like a second home with the best people and the amazing service. Will definitely be back.

Great Neapolitan pizza! This was our second time visiting Brighton, we ate at this same restaurant in 2018 and our entire family loved it so we came again in 2024 and it did not disappoint! The staff are friendly and helpful, the pizza is delicious, and they have a great drink and wine menu. We tried several pizzas which were all delicious, but I think my favorite was the delicious simplicity of the margherita!

Best pizza in Brighton without a doubt! Vittoria served us and I couldn’t ask for a better waitress. I just wish they had some proper merch, the polos are decent but I think a nice loose white button shirt would go hard. I would 100% buy one.

i got a delivery sent to my house and my pizza was stone cold. then i called there restaurant and they didn’t do anything and didn’t care and was very rude shouldn’t ever go. no complaints procedures in place was awful

We booked here for my best friend’s Hen Do…….WOW. The food, the atmosphere and the authenticity is SUPERB. Highly recommend. Very accommodating for a small group & allowing decorations was the cherry on the cake.

I ordered a pizza via deliveroo. This is not the first time we order a VIP pizza because they were outstanding. However, this time, the pizza is so thin with barely any topping. A rip off !

hands down the best pizza in brighton but dear lord the service is awful twice i have been eating here and both times the waitresses are nowhere to be found or taking to each other while tables struggle for service also the pricing is off £6 for a side green salad is taking the piss

The first time I came, it was so crowded that there was a line, so I gave up. On my second visit, I was finally able to go in and I was really looking forward to it since I had read the reviews. Great Pizza, Pasta and friendly service. Restaurant is a little cramped but that just adds to the atmosphere. The whole place is top quality and many of the ingredients are from their family farm in Italy! The manager is super nice and the staff (esp. Verina) are very helpful and knowledgable. I've been many times and will return for many more visits.

A beautifully delicious spot in Brighton of truly italian - Italian approved! The restaurant is cosy, in a perfect spot close to the beach, right in front the Old Steine Gardens. The food is authentic italian, with a great variety of quality ingredients. Everything we ate made-me-nostalgic good. The staff is friendly, helpful and frames the restaurant with a nice, colourful vibe. Oh, dogs are welcome and appreciated too!🥰 Thank you so much for this amazing meal experience in Brighton! Recommended: Fiori di zucca, panuozzo and tortino al pistacchio! Grazie ragazzi ♥️

I accidentally ordered a pizza from the Brighton restaurant, rather than Saltdean, and the staff were so kind about it. They didn't have the same menu, but they made the same pizza from the Brighton restaurant for me - exceptional customer service, and great pizza. I would highly recommend!

The pizza here is beautiful, and the service was great, although we didnt stay for long the staff were still friendly and warm even though we turned up not long before close (sorry) the pizza was beautifully cooked, exactly how I like it and the chilli oil was actually hot unlike some places 😀 the atmosphere was very relaxed and the produce for sale on the walls was a great aesthetic. I would definitely come back here anytime.

Delicious food and served in a short time

VIP Pizza Brighton We planned an overnight stay in Brighton and were looking at the different places to eat, and VIP was one of them. We decided to explore Brighton, and we managed to find them not too far from the sea front. We poked our head in and read the menu and decided to book with them for the evening as they were welcoming and helpful. We weren't disappointed at all. I would go far as saying that it was probably the best pizza I have had outside of Italy. The taste and smell of the food were amazing and fresh, and you could see that straight away as soon as you walked in and experienced it from the other diners. The restaurant isn't the biggest, but it's nothing to put you off if they can produce food of decent quality. But it was packed, and that's a good sign. They sat us downstairs, where it was nice and cosy with traditional Italian decor etc. Oh, and a word of warning if you are seated downstairs, the stairs are steep, and the ceiling is low, especially for a 6ft 4in tall person like me. But trust me, it's worth it!! We had the Affettati to start, and the meats and cheeses were so fresh, and the smell just brought me back to Campania. For mains, we had various pizzas, which, as you can see from the pictures, were a fair size, and after indulging in the starters, it was hard to finish, but taste was fantastic. Loved it. And we ended up taking away the Scialatielli's away with us as my daughters love these back home and had these at the hotel. I can safely recommend this establishment as a place to visit for anyone coming to Brighton and wanting top quality italian food. There is nothing negative to say about VIP apart from I wish to pick it up and bring it closer to home as I wish I had somewhere like this on my doorstep. Well done to the owners and staff. I will return again most definitely.
