Amazing family owned restaurant with the best pizza i’ve had. For a fairly small restaurant they manage to get people in and out very smoothly and without rush. The staff are incredibly kind and the food service is quick. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Lovely vibe and interior, food was lovely, had the meatballs which were delish and the margarita 10/10. Had a bit of a hiccup with getting a table and service was a little disorganized/ sporadic. But regardless we’ll be back!

The place was Super busy, fully packed but the pizza was nice we had a simple margarita and delicious artichoke.

Been coming here for ages and it’s always absolutely amazing food, atmosphere and staff! Sky, whose first day it was, has a natural warmth and professionalism. The Italian owners and chef obviously know how to run an amazing place. Then, a darling girl, Iris, brought us complimentary Italian brandies after our sumptuous lunch. This cosy, authentic Italian restaurant is brilliant and I can’t recommend it enough! 10/10!

We had some amazing food at VIP Pizza! The pizza's are huge possibly the first time ever my partners failed to finish a pizza, but they definitely don't skimp on quality! Loved their vegan options and I will be adding roast potatoes to all my pizzas from now on! Our server Alessandro was so kind and made sure the vegan alternatives provided by the kitchen were okay, offering an alternative if not. I was only slightly disappointed that we were sat downstairs as I had booked a few days in advance and I didn't think the vibes were as good, I didn't even know there was a downstairs so I know to specify next time! But the vibes were still great and my partner booked VIP for his birthday dinner immediately after we left. All round great really really would recommend!

What kind of pizza is this? Really disappointed. I've been there many times but this really disgusted me.

Went here last night We booked a table for a group of us at 6.30pm . we were asked for a deposit per person which was fine but when we arrived on time we had to wait outside as our table wasn’t ready we then had to wait so long to be seated that our food didn’t arrive till 8.15pm !! Won’t be returning

Terrible experience. My daughter is lactose intolerant and ordered a Vegan pizza. Specifically mentioned to the waitress that she is extremely allergic to dairy. When the pizza got delivered at the table the waitress again reconfirmed that it’s Vegan. My daughter had a bite, felt something was wrong, asked the waitress for the third time, who checked and reconfirmed. Then my daughter proceeded to eat half the slice….but still felt that something was wrong. So we again checked…. This time insisted that the chef confirms . At this stage they say they made a mistake and basically the waitress blamed the chef, the chef blamed the waitress. They offered to replace - and guess what the replacement pizza arrives - and again it’s not vegan. Whoever owns this joint should teach their staff the importance of distinguishing food allergies, and being more sensitive to customer’s needs. I wouldn’t recommend this place despite its proximity to the beach and the cool vibe.

Definitely overrated. The food is decent, but nothing that would make me want to come back. Expected something more authentic and flavorful, but it was just… okay. What really put me off was the capucino arrive cold , the chipped plate my dish was served on and the dirty fork I got. Had to wave four times before a waiter finally noticed and brought me a clean one—service could use some serious improvement. On the bright side, the location is nicely decorated, with a cozy ambiance that gives off a real Italian vibe. If only the food and service matched the aesthetics!

Date: 16th February 2025 Cost: £85 for two After a weather-enforced cancellation of our New Year’s Day detox at Beach Box Spa, we re-booked for later in January and immediately afterwards resolved to go more regularly. The ‘Express 45’ had left us rejuvenated and tingling but we wanted more, so opted for the next available longer ‘Silent Sunday Reflection’. After two hours of cleansing ourselves of the impurities of the week in the wood-fired saunas and then the sea, undergoing gonging rituals of brushing birchwood swirling any psychological troubles in miniature aromatic tsunamis away and out through the chimney, we were a million miles from the stressful, noxious reality of our lives. What better way then to bring us back to normality than a pint with the metalheads killing time waiting to see Phil Campbell at the Concorde by getting into fights with each other and then going for a humongous pizza? Incredibly though, VIPizza didn’t leave us with any heavy-bellied feelings of regret, that we’d essentially (and expensively) detoxified for nothing. In fact, I’m tempted to claim that my hopes and dreams for our hotly-anticipated visit that Mich was asking about as we walked past on our way to the beach were met: to find a new go-to pizza place. Lofty ambitions. I liked it immediately. Every inch of space on the shelves that lined an entire wall-length of the domino-shaped ground floor was filled with huge wheels of cheese, bags of flour and pasta and Italian biscuits, oils and jars of artichokes and olives; Napoli football shirts and scarves jostled for space with blackboards, pithy signage and mini wooden wine holders on the opposite wall; strings of garlic and onions, lemons and dried sprigs of herbs were hanging from the ceiling; and over the happy chatter of the cosily squeezed-in punters - that lovely sound of people having a jolly nice time - were the barks instruction to each other - in Italian - from the staff. One of the wall signs proudly espoused the benefits of sourdough on one’s digestion and general constitution. Even so, I had my doubts as to whether that extended to eating a metric ton of the stuff - the pizzas really were enormous, the size of TVs from when I was growing up. I went for a diavola from the specials board, which was heavenly. The menu had been keen to point out the thought and pride that goes into each of the meals, with most of VIP’s products sourced directly from their own farms back in Naples, and it showed. Instead of buffalo mozzarella was fior de latte, topped with ’nduja, two types of sliced meat from their deli, fresh basil and my own slatherings of their delicious homemade chilli oil. The sourdough crust, so often left over when you’ve got so much else to eat, really was as light as they’d promised, and so fragrant as to be a highlight rather than a handle. I do have to say that Mich’s quattro stagioni wasn’t quite as delicious for whatever reason, despite having an identical base. Cowed by its size she ate the inside first and was proudly left - as if she’d just peeled an orange in one go - with a two foot long string of crust, which I gamely helped with. Like I say though: no regrets. There was even room for a tiramisu and we rounded off the authentic Italian experience with espresso and limoncello. Experience is probably the word: yes, incredibly good pizza (notwithstanding the entire non-pizza section on the menu that we dismissed), but VIP is so much more. As their website says, “remember, a pizza delivered will never be the same as one coming straight from our oven to your restaurant table”. Noted, VIP. In that case, we’ll have to come back.

Aside from the music, which was a bit too heavy, VIP is a surefire winner. The food is excellent value for money, the service is reliable and the location is essentially perfect. Booking solidly recommended.

This has been one of our go to restaurant for some time now! Such a brilliant cosy little place tucked away in the busy streets of Brighton! Food has always been 10/10, and the service is impeccable (Vittoria has always been amazing whenever we go) if your feeling a lovely taste of Italian food when your down in Brighton VIP is a no brainer 🤩😋

Great pizzeria, real slice of home, Napoli. Locale is a bit small, so places are limited, but it's extremely well decorated and clean. With excellent quality food. Highly recommend. Edit: Been there several more times since the original post, and the food is still excellent. We hosted a birthday there, and the staff (Vittoria & Maria) were wonderful. Very helpful and eager to join. Including accepting the cake we had bought along and sprucing it up with lots more chocolate. 🤣 Truly a joy to eat at every time.

We found this place as always packed I had carbonara and partner had Margherita pizza. Both were nice. Large portions. But I disliked my carbonara. It's my favourite dish. And it's the first time I've had one where it was bitter. Narrowed it down to the gianciarle which I've never experienced as bitter. The Margherita pizza was good. But I prefer Pizzaface Margherita. Would try again. If but once more.

Wonderful tiny and independent restaurant- the atmosphere inside was so warm and friendly, our waiter Miguel was a delight. Food was delicious and so was the wine! There was a little counter you could get huge loafs of bread, and other cute italian snacks. Thankyou VIP pizza!

Needed somewhere warm to get a meal before catching a train. This was absolutely perfect! Good atmosphere, plenty of choice, friendly and quick service, fantastic food. We shared a pizza between us and still took some home (bag offered to us). Wish it were closer to us 😊. Oh, and great hot chocolate too)

We have been to this restaurant more than any other in Brighton, I think that says it all. The tables are close together but that creates a great atmosphere. The staff work really hard they are helpful and attentive. The pizza's are perfection on a board. Leave room for dessert.

Pizza here is very good. the only thing lacking is not being able to see what it looks like on the menu! No pictures, so you take a chance on what you are ordering, but seeing what others had ordered, you are definitely in for a good surprise ☺️ Ordering is a bit slow, I would like to say it is due to being a busy place??, in all, it is definitely worthwhile visiting Advance booking is recommended due to being very popular, but taking a chance like we did, can pay off
