Food was fine. We were expecting better quality food and flavor for the price. The portions were quite big but they are reflective of the price. Overall wouldn’t go back or recommend. Update: Stomach really not in good shape for both parties. We eat lots of food variety so its safe to assume this pain is due to Ecti Further Update: ECTI responded to this review below with an email address concerning the review to talk about the order. I emailed them in good faith and they never responded. Just a courtesy reply to appear like they care about customers, their satisfaction or their feedback. They do not.

The ambience, the food, the host everything was so perfect

Definitely some of the best kebabs in brighton. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. It's a child friendly place too with high chairs available, good atmosphere. Definitely recommended eating in and mot take away. Have been coming here for a good couple years now and it's been consistent. Oh and the salads are on point.

I had dinner at etci last monday with my friend. All food was very tasty and flavourful except grilled king prawns which was very salty and tasteless.

Been to Etci multiple times now, more than fair prices, unreal food, by far the best Turkish in Brighton.

Loved the food and the atmosphere, the setting. All was carefully considered. The food portions are quite large, but they do facilitate takeaway boxes. Would definitely recommend the humus, mixed grill and kunefe as a desert. One of those deserts can be easily shared between 2 people as they are pretty large and quite sweet with the syrup.

Sensational dining experience every visit. The family platter comfortably feeds a party of 5 and the baclava is exceptional. Always kind staff and perfect venue to celebrate.

Amazing meal on New Years Eve, the service was incredible our waiter Feti was so friendly and the food was perfect! Cocktails lovely too. Good knowledge of gluten free options. Would definitely return!

Dined at Etci Kitchen on Friday 20th December . There were 14 of us and we all enjoyed the food , felt like we were back in Turkey. We have recommended to friends and we will definitely be back.

I recently had dinner at Etchi Kitchen and enjoyed their chicken skewers and lamb. The flavors were rich and well-seasoned, with a nice balance of spices. Definitely the best in Brighton, wonderful staff with a positive attitude and caring, best quality meat and very tender reminds me of the time I went to Turkey.

Second time coming here and loved it again. Visited for my husband's birthday with the family and really can't say anything bad. The server from our first visit remembered us which I thought was very sweet. We had pide and houmous for the table with the Turkish balloon bread. And then had the family platter with rice cous cous and all the meats and everyone loved it. The rainbow salad is to die for. Every one had a different drink from wine to cocktails and they were all spot on and reasonably priced too!! Everything was cooked perfectly. The decor is beautiful there. Really, highly recommend it.

The chicken casserole and the veggee casserole was so bland. We were shocked because my friend came from far away and I had highly recommended Etci as I did eat here several times before.

The food is good 👍 but the waiter’s attitude is bad 👎🏽 He didn’t smile the whole time and felt that we were not welcome... We will not come back again.

Head waiter was pretty rude, made some rude, sarcastic remarks from the get go about people showing up 10 mins late to the booking (even though we came on time and sat on the table). We had booked 15 seats and we had a last minute family cancellation so 4 seats were empty, he came and confronted us about why we didn’t tell them about the cancellation in front of everyone. I agree with the point but the way he came and spoke to us led to a tense atmosphere and is definitely not the way to speak to customers and handle the situation, especially as there were 11 of us, he could’ve just asked if the rest were showing up and moved the extra table to the side. The rest of the waiters and waitresses were good, the head waiter was very rude though and really ruined the atmosphere of the birthday party and my experience at dining at etci for the first time. Which is a shame because I have heard good things about the restaurant. The food was alright, nothing special for the price. If it weren’t for the initial experience of dealing with the head waiter, my review would be higher.

What a place! The food was amazing and the service was outstanding even though the restaurant was full the food was brought out very quickly. This was our first visit too Etci Kitchen as it was recommended by a friend and I can truly say I can’t wait to go back there. well done Etci Kitchen

Nice food,slightly over-priced, rip off drinks. Didn’t allow us to drink a coke from the convenience store since they were charging £4 for a coke can. Kept giving us weird stares and attempted to rush us out.

For vegan preferences, there is surprisingly very little on the menu, especially in a city like Brighton where so many people are vegan. While they have a few very basic vegetarian options ( one starter having Cod, if you believe fish is a vegetable), it would do great justice to the wonderful tradition of Turkish cuisine to include some substantial vegan options.

Feti and Sinem gave us lovely service. The staff were very accommodating, and catered to our needs quickly and helpfully. The food was amazing, and they helped with any dietary issues the table had. I went with a group of 10, and we all left happy and full!

The stars for this restaurant is simply limitless and countless. The lamb ribs is the best and tastiest I've had. What about the couscous? The fluffy chocolate cake? Hmmmm In a nutshell, I'm returning to this restaurant next week!

A must-go for meatlovers on travel. They serve very impressive lamb kebabs, and offer complimentary turkish bread.

Top tier food. Very good service. The fish was something that reminds me when I'm abroad, that experience of the on the bone fish, dig in and watch out for the bones! They also gave me a little birthday song along with my baklava as a little birthday cake. Felt so welcomed here and the staff are extremely friendly. Highly recommended, Ercan was the waiter and made my evening 10x better. Would definitely be back.

We came to this restaurant with my friends last week. I was excited that I hadn't eaten Turkish food in a long time and it more than met my expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. With birthday celebrations, the place is a lot of fun and everyone is involved in this celebration. One cannot even comment on the taste of the food. Beyti was my favorite dish, and I tasted their other dishes as well. Chicken skewers, adana kebab. Everything was very nice. Thank you very much for everything.

Picked this restaurant as it was highly rated, food was lovely but the service wasn’t! My friends cocktail glass broke and her drink spilt all over her, there was no apology from any staff and we had to argue to get a drink removed from the bill. The staff just kept saying it wasn’t their fault and took no blame. It felt like a high turnover restaurant and they just wanted you in and out as quickly as possible.
