I had a great experience at a cool pub in Brighton. The girls at the bar were really nice. Especially on the first night, they were super kind. I recommend the Tequila Rose shots and the IPA beer

A lovely quirky little bar, great decor, lovely friendly bar staff. First discovered on a visit to Brighton over Easter Bank holiday and have returned on 3 subsequent visits.

I never eat there but every time I go there with friends the place is packed. Great place to meet gay men (bears) my friends like bears. A+++

What a gem. Tiny pub, but so cozy and delicious cocktails. Unfortunately decided to go to town centre try other places, but we regretted it. Wished we stayed there longer.

This is a cool bar of the highest order. From the decor to the well thought out drink selection and especially the service provided by the owner and her crew, this bar is the best in town. I wish this was my local. Go, you won't regret it! ❤️

Was in Brighton for the weekend and popped into the Fallen Angel for a drink before going back to the hotel. So glad we did. A great atmosphere, very friendly and were treated like locals. Richard is a great asset and wish him the best of luck in his new job

Dropped in after going to a gig at a nearby venue, at 10ish on a Saturday night, the pub was half full so plenty of space for newcomers. Was a lovely atmosphere with friendly locals and very friendly and helpful barman. Highly recommend the orange Sambuca. I will definitely return when next in Kemp Town.

Loved this intimate and charming bar. When we arrived there was no onevin the place, but within 30 minutes the place waa packed and buzzing. Friendly guy on the bar who chatted to us while the bar was quiet. Cocktails are a speciality but we tried the Brighton Gin, which was lovely.

Stayed nearby and came in for a little evening atmosphere. The bartender, Richard, is one of a kind. Huge personality that kept the place under control with a lovely blend of humour and sheer tenacity and determination. Having worked in the service industry my whole life, it was awesome to see him be both lovely and a complete badass behind the bar. Can't recommend this place enough. Tell Richard we say hello!

Great small bar, nice decor, good choice of drinks, good music and friendly. Just what a bar should be. Must say very professional / genuine and friendly ladies behind the bar (I think that they are the owners). I never write reviews but they made us feel so welcome being 'out of towners' and on a very busy Pride night! We would def recommend. Great job ladies!

I really liked this place. The bartender was so nice and helpful, and made a delicious whisky sour! The music was fun and I loved the mermen ornaments hanging behind the bar. Great place to enjoy some cocktails and good vibes

What a find! The service was super, the cocktails were freshly prepared, well priced and tasted great. The building itself is worth a trip too, and we loved the decor. Definitely a 5* venue for some evening drinks.

Stumbled across this little pub, very cute, well stocked and 2 lovely ladies behind the bar. Didn't necessarily feel welcomed but we stayed anyway. Plenty of drinks bought by our larger group. Drink selection was really good and prices were pretty reasonable. Atmosphere was a little cold but we made our own

The staff are some of the most welcoming in Brighton with individual tastes catered for with their selection of beers and booze. Dog friendly and well worth a visit.

This is THE best pub ever ! I have never had a favourite pub before, but I can honestly say I do now. It’s all down to the barman Richard . He is such a great great guy and terrific at what he does. The atmosphere is fantastic. Down to the terrific playlists of music Richard plays. He is an incredible attentive barman, your glass is never empty. He’s good! Never missing the opportunity to ask if you’d like another drink when your glass is getting low ( good for the business of course). Friendly, smiling and has a fab sense of humour. I have witnessed him asking people for ID should he ever be in doubt . His eyes are everywhere… knowing exactly what’s going on in the pub. It’s a pub you can go into with the intentions of just staying for 1 but ending up more like coming out closer to 1:-) The time flies…. It would be great if there could be live music at times. But in the meantime- Richard’s choice of music makes up for it. A terrific place and a ‘must visit’ pub for anyone coming to Brighton and Kemp town particularly!

From the iow after failed holiday abroad due to stupid covid restrictions, Rich was awesome and so welcoming, cocktails so great I can't remember what I ordered and the fallen angel was justified when this pub caught me! Brighton is full of beautiful people you just have to find them and yourself! Viva la fallen angel! 😇

Gorgeous little cocktail bar striking the right balance between stylish and informal. For other margarita snobs out there, the chilli margarita was simply excellent so I had to have two. Already planning a return visit 🔥

We had such a fun time in this bar, the cocktails were delicious the best we'd tasted all weekend. The barman Richard was definitely the star of the show and even ran after us as we'd left somehing behind. However if you don't like friendly banter this is probably not the place for you!

Fantastic place to go for a cocktail or other drinks , great selection of beers and shorts. Management / staff all make you feel very comfortable and welcoming The decor is great and cosy Music is spot on , I highly recommend to go for a evening with friends or as a one to one evening
