The breakfast is always delicious no matter what you get, the coffee is lovely and the staff are amazing!

Really lovely food, great coffee and great staff. Well priced and a great atmosphere. The eggs benedict with chicken is incredible! And the pancakes are amazing.

MY goodness, the vegan breakfast here. I will remember that forever. The only downside was no apparent laptop policy so there were a LOT of people on laptops, taking up tables with just one empty cup of coffee next to them. We actually left originally as there was no space and just happened to luck out when we came back (although we didn't get a proper table, just a bar-style seat). Just a shame to lose lunch business over laptop-users. But go here. Eat here.

I have been to 17Grame Resturant for breakfast they have a good selection I have ordered the veggie meal. I enjoyed it.

Note to anyone who's looking to escape "Americano hell" with a real cup of "drip" black coffee, these guys do a "batch brew" of third-wave roasts and it's a life-saver. This is the place you're looking for. Friendly knowledgable baristas. Good food!

Hands down the best English breakfast I have ever had. Completely different to the average breakfast, flavours on point! Great coffee too!!

Needed a solo lunch spot for a quick break and decided to stop at 17grams. I sat outside and enjoyed people watching while also enjoying their really good flat white (their own roast) and an avocado toast with feta and roasted tomato. Definitely a great cafe!

My wife and I along with our Dachshund Pretzel visited here on Wed 4th August. We both had the most delicious breakfast either of us has had for many a year. Needless to say, the coffee was top notch too. What also made our visit so memorable was the two staff on duty. Both Emily and Josh are two wonderful people who were very friendly and easy to chat with. They both loved our dog and gave him a few nice treats. It's only a small place - I counted 17 spaces for two people each. It is tastefully decorated with music album covers and various posters etc. The atmosphere is laid back and the volume of the music played was just about perfect. Low enough so you could chat comfortably, but just loud enough for you to listen to at the same time. So to sum up: Perfect food, Perfect coffee, Perfect atmosphere, and definitely the Perfect staff in Emily and Josh. Needless to say, we will make 17 grams a must visit every time we come to Brighton. My boyfriend and I were on vacation in Brighton for two nights. We happened across this lovely place while trying to find some breakfast. We both ordered the banana pancakes. They were terrific! Never had anything quite like them. I'm from America and he's from here in England. We were both really impressed with the pancakes, so much so that we went back and had them again the next morning. The seating inside is limited but there is seating outside as well. The staff are all very nice as well.

I'm an avid coffee fan and the coffee in 70grams is the best I've had in a long time! ☕️ Staff were all super friendly and attentive. Seating area is clean and comfortable. Price of £3 for an americano is very reasonable for the great quality. I was only visiting Brighton for the day sadly; else I would go back very soon. Thank you!

We had oat flat whites, which were incredible. Nice to sit outside, but inside is well decorated too. Service was quick. We'll be back!

Great brunch spot in the heart of the lanes. Accommodates to vegans with interesting takes on classic dishes with some great options to start your day. The vegan eggs royale and breakfast burrito were both delicious. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu. Best to get there early as it fills up quick.

Came in for breakfast whilst away in Brighton. Food, staff and atmosphere were all lovely. Would absolutely recommend to others seeking out a coffee stop or some food!

Dear 17 grams, i wouldnt take my worst enemy here. my experience was not one to remember. the staff, rude. myself and my family were not even acknowledged by the staff. there is no excuse as the place was half empty. i am appalled with the lack of service and compassion. do better.

The staff were rlly lovely and the food was extremely good- I recommend the chorizo burrito (portions sizes are thiç)! Also accommodating for my mum who is GF, will definitely be coming back 😎

Had both the batch brew and espresso from here (on different occasions). Both were very nice. I asked for a cup of water for my partner and they bought us a whole bottle and two cups which was very nice. Very pleased with the coffee here, although id say the espresso is better than the current batch brew, but this may have just been down to my preference for the beans.

We are on holiday and wanted to find a cute spot for a matcha. As a coeliac it’s hard to find great gluten free food but the banana bread and cookie were both equally amazing. It’s not easy to make non-crumbly and tasty gluten free cakes but the one we were served was perfect. The matcha was incredible, split-pea and tea. With great music and incredibly kind customer service! Couldn’t be better! 11/10 🍵

Very friendly great service. We had the 'Breakfast' brunch. It's basically a full English with a twist. It was excellent. Every item on my plate was a taste sensation. It was the best Breakfast I think I've ever had. I'd highly recommend eating here. They also adapted the food to dietary needs. So impressed. Thanks guys!

pretty cafe in the lanes that serve amazing coffee and amazing breakfast! i strolled past and this place caught my eye so i had to try it. i only had a coffee, but people around me had food and they looked and smelt delicious, the portion sizes looked great too. the ambience is very nice as were the staff who were welcoming and polite! definitely coming back to try the food and have more coffee ;)

This has to be the best cafe in Brighton! incredible coffee, food, and friendly staff! As a former barista, I can't recommend this place enough. Get there early because there is always a line out the door! They also do take away orders for food!

mid morning breakfast - 2 people sitting outside. poached eggs (Overdone) on GF toast and a field mushroom, smashed avocado on normal toast with feta and chilli flakes. 1 green tea, 1 coffee. Disappointed in the GF option, toast and eggs overdone, but overall we were happy and the staff are very good. Well priced, £30ish

Place was amazing. Location is great and comfortable. We ate outside in front Alice murales. Food was pricy for vegetarian/vegan dishes, but 100% tasty and healthy. Team was pretty friendly and lovely atmosphere

Popped in while away with friends on recommendation from my brother who praised the vegan options. So glad I did, ended up going in multiple times during my stay in Brighton! The cafe in the lanes is so cute and comfy, the atmosphere is brilliant and everyone who served us was incredibly friendly and attentive. The coffee was amazing and genuinely probably the best oat cappuccino I've ever had- the coffee blend itself was so nice I bought a bag to take home but the milk was also steamed perfectly! We had two meals there and each of us really enjoyed what we had. I'm already dreaming about going back and having the full breakfast again, the pesto was divine!
