The place was great. The service was great. I appreciated the daily room service. It was immaculate. The Quin definitely takes their service very seriously. They go the extra mile with the Quin logo. That's an A+. My only issue is that the shower door leaks, so when I was done with my shower, I had to put towels down to soak up the water.

We took a 2-day mini-vacation to NYC. The Quin is centrally located in midtown. An easy walk to Times Square, Central Park, and Lincoln Center. Note that parking is not at the hotel but one block away on 56th Street. Stop by the hotel and unload your luggage and get a voucher for the discounted parking.

Modern, clean hotel with an excellent location, close to the subway and Central Park. Very friendly service, WiFi works well. Ideal for traveling on business or tourism. The rooms are very good, with USB charging which is appreciated. The bathroom is very spacious and bright. The only thing that I didn't find very comfortable was the mattress since in person it seemed too soft to me. Leaving aside, everything is highly recommended.

Just a block south of Central Park and right in the subway line if so inclined. Local eateries and market available. Biggest drawback for me was, while pretty, the overpowering flower scents in the lobby that permeated the entire downstairs and elevator. I had to cover my face every time I passed through. Lucky me, it was scarf weather, but awful enough I can't recommend this place to anyone who suffers from scent-induced migraines like me. Also Nespresso is gross... and I love my coffee, so yeah... I'll be nixing that with Hilton.

I traveled to NYC to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday and stayed at the Quin, we were disappointed at the service throughout our stay. We ordered a birthday cake and had food and bottles of wine delivered. However, the resort was not able to provide forks, drinking glasses or plates despite being attached to a restaurant. The rooms don't come equipped with smart TV's, so there's no capacity to watch streaming platforms on rainy days in. Also, I had to change rooms during my stay and went to the front desk to request assistance with transferring my luggage and was told that I had to ask the bellman directly to assist with bags. When I requested the assistance of one of the bellman, they said they could not move the bags because I wasn't in the room, which conflicted with the information that I was given at the front desk. The location is pretty convenient to central Park and Times square. The hustle and bustle of the city is very loud, but that's to be expected in the city. Overall, the decor was alright, but after paying almost $600 a night, I expected better service and hospitality. I spoke to the manager and was informed that Hilton recently acquired this property and they're still working on improvements from the previous management. However, in its current state, I would personally not recommend this property.

Two blocks away from Central Park. Hotel is centrally located to all NYC quick trip has to offer. Studio Room was comfortable and well suited for NYC. I think the service compared to the reviews was exceptional. Checkin was smooth. Approved for late checkout without extra fee. The front desk would get cab and gave great food selection.

I love the location. Being a HGV member I really enjoy the ability to see different locations, even in NYC. The only issue I have with this location is that the interaction with the night time crew was not up to par. Walking in and having to gentleman who were focused on each other and not the care of the establishment was a bit odd. The rooms were okay. Meaning that for a place to call it the Quin and to have rooms that felt like The Hampton was a throw back. An examplt would be to compare it to Liberty place in Charleston. Completely differnt. One final complant would be that when exiting the hotel on the final day, we were about to get an Uber\life\Whatever, the front desk suggest that they hail a Cab for us. the cab unfortunalely took us from the Quin, then to Broad way, then to 95 then to the airport and the fair was about$100 and about 40 minutes of time instead of half that . I will use The Quin again but my expectations are not going to be suprised. Be safe...

The customer service is horrible when calling this hotel. The staff are not very professional and they are very short in attitude. I have called the Accounting department many times to request a hotel profile for my boss whose reservation I made and they can’t forward to me even if I have given all the information they need. Then one day I called and the entire Accounting department is out and the young lady who answered the phone was very dry and offered no further assistance. My boss likes staying here but I hate the experience of trying to get his paperwork from this hotel to reimburse his expenses. The Marriott, etc have no problem forwarding me my boss’ expenses and they are much more professional.

The only reason I'm giving this hotel any stars at all is because of the amazing support staff, and manager, Eli. Upon checking in, there was an issue with my company payment. Eli worked with the company and remedied the situation. After one night of staying, I brought up the issue of noise. The windows provide no buffer for the noise outside. 10 floors up and it's as if you are on the first. Eli supplied a nose canceling machine, but could not move me to an interior room because none available. He really did try his hardest to help. In case you wondering about the noise: There is heavy construction that begins at roughly 06:00. They are using Jack hammers, chipping hammers, etc. They are working double shifts, I'm guessing, so they don't stop working until the evening. Sirens go off 24 hours a day (it's New York, so I guess it's to be expected). The trash starts to get picked up around midnight and might last a few hours. The only hours of the night that have less noise (minus the sirens and people screaming) is between 03:00 and 04:30). I tried my best to get through this. I did end up checking out a couple days early. The shorter, robust manager stated I will still be charged for the evening, since I checked out after 10:00. He made no consessions due to the noise. I understand policy, but this had been brought to attention a few days prior. The only other con is the mold in the shower. Pros: Near Central Park and other conveniences. The support staff is amazing. Why do I care since it's not my money, you ask? I was in customer service for years, and you simply don't treat people that way. Everyone wants to make money, but they should send a courtesy email to guests to inform them of the heightened noise levels. Trying to work and read with all the banging was terrible.

Everything was great except for two things. (1) There's no place to eat or buy snacks in the hotel. We were hoping to at least find some vending machines but found none. They did try to make up for it by giving us gift cards for $50/day for two people. We went out for lunch across the street and paid $120. Unfortunately, they would not accept the gift cards because the cards didn't have a "chip." 🥴 (2) We were able to find places to buy food at NYC prices but the room didn't have a microwave for us to re-heat any food or leftovers. We were able to work around these issues as well as the challenges of parking in the vicinity. It's a wonderful place to stay. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The Housekeeping (when requested) is excellent! We will be back as soon as possible. 👴👍🏼😷👋

Don't stay here if you plan to work in the room - wifi is intermittent and unreliable. I spent hours with staff and their provider and the issue was never resolved in our 6 night stay. We were told we would receive points for our time dealing with the issue that were never issued. For a high end hotel, what a disappointment that I needed to waste so much time dealing with this. Hotel is brand new. Bed is very comfortable and bathroom in the 1 bedroom unit is large/very well appointment. Unlimited Nespresso packets and bottled water available. Unfortunately they use the standard Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender toiletries; I was hoping for something higher quality and less scented. The daily housekeeping is fantastic and they are very friendly. Overall, not bad location and room but I wouldn't stay again due to the wifi issues that could not be resolved.

On the next day I made a call to the hotel and found out that my scarf was kept at the hotel. But unfortunately the hotel was closed right after I asked to send my scarf. I have contacted fhe hotel via email several times last year but the staff repeates saying that the hotel was still closed. When I found out that the hotel was reopen I sent another email to ask how to get my scarf back, but have not heard back yet. It would be much appreciated if you could check out whether my scarf was still kept at the hotsl and how I can take it back. For your information, I live in Seoul, South Korea. Thank you!

Uneven experience. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms look nice. Very comfortable bed. Service good overall. But in our first room the AC wasn't working and the temp got up to 76. Thankfully they moved and upgraded us but we had the opposite problem with the temp getting stuck at 64 even tho it was set much higher. The showers are very poorly designed, especially in our first, smaller room, which had no storage space in the shower except for a bar of soap. (The upgraded room had a shower bench at least.) Good luck shaving your legs or bending down over and over again for your toiletries. It's also impossible to use the shower mat bc the low shower door pushes it away, and no matter what you do the shower leaks significantly onto the bathroom floor. The restaurant/bar looks permanently closed and is visibly deserted. Of course, the midtown location is pretty great.

Whatever you do, when you check in, ask the person at the front desk if your room will have "real" windows, or frosted glass windows. Ours were frosted, which means that you couldn't see out nor could you get an accurate sense of weather. I think it had something to do with being on a lower floor, which I don't really understand given that we're Hilton vacation club owner's. It was a very gloomy experience and I wouldn't repeat it.

This hotel is chic and stylish and located in the heart of Manhattan near Central Park and Columbus Circle. I loved the rooms - modern and comfortable with plenty of plug points for charging devices. However, as a business traveller, there was no work station which made it frustrating to remain productive. Also, a false fire alarm went off twice during my stay, once at 8pm while I was in deep sleep after a 16 hour flight, and again at 5am the next morning. Both instances weren't handled particularly well by staff. Generally, I felt staff weren't very helpful and sometimes grudgingly courteous. Sarah the concierge was fantastic though, despite getting to work late. For the price point, there are better options in NYC.

I booked this hotel for my cousins who were visiting NYC for the first time. The scaffolding was the first thing we saw as we entered the hotel. The room was dark. I was embarrassed for the choice I made any the cost was way more than the room deserved.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. It’s undergoing mayor construction and most rooms have scaffolding on the windows. We made specific arrangements to avoid such rooms before we booked. Despite this, we where placed in one that had construction happening on the floor above. We were woken up at 6 am with power tool noise and heavy hammering. It should be easy for them to predict when and where construction will happen. This was a very disappointing experience.

We chose this hotel to celebrate my Birthday and my Wife’s first time to New York. The first thing we noticed was the scaffolding around the whole hotel. There is no warning of construction work on the hotel. Our room was small and I can understand, but everything else about the room was Terrible. The carpet was stained and dirty. The a/c and heating unit sounded like a train going by. It would wake us up every time it went on. The mattress was horrendous. I’ve slept on roll away cots that are more comfortable than your beds. One of the worst parts was the windows were fully blocked and you could only open them about an 3 inches. The room would be completely dark 24/7 if you didn’t have the light on. I will not be returning and the staff can go if it’s up to me. Asked to move rooms and there was nothing they could do. When we checked out the staff just said sorry about our stay when I voiced my frustration. ****Complaint filed with Hilton Honors.

I have only stayed at Hilton hotels on a few occasions, including Hilton London Park Lane and Hilton Conrad Tokyo. On both occasions I'd left feeling like I had received a very standard service, and so my expectations of the Quin were already quite low. The decision for choosing the Quin was the 'reasonable' price for the time of year and location. I had paid £1833.85 (£431.71 per night) for four nights. In early December you will find all hotels in New York are at least 25% more expensive and in some cases double their standard rate. For comparison the Quin in January is just £240 per night. The hotel facilities were very basic. No complimentary bottle water on arrival, no cutlery or glasses in the room, no mini bar and no in-room dining. The staff on front desk were on the arrogant side, although I found the hotel porters and room attendants did a good job at making our stay as comfortable as can be. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations so is mostly covered in scaffolding. Fortunately our room was not obstructed. We had the deluxe room but the size felt like a basic room, with barely enough space to unpack. Overall, I found the hotel poor value for money and would not recommend staying here. The Hilton Quin is called a luxury hotel but compared to every other hotel I've stayed at I couldn't see what part was luxury. A message to Hilton hotels. If you'd like an example of luxury I'd suggest looking at hotels like Corinthia, Langham and the Savoy.

The Quin Central Park, online, seems like a luxury hotel. The price is reasonable for its location but it is still not inexpensive. It was under construction and while that is fine, there is no mention of such anywhere to be found... You find out by arriving at the hotel only to walk around the scaffolding boards because the street access is inaccessible. The noise was unpleasant but it's not like the city is quiet so we accepted it. The front desk staff is very polite and professional but not personable. When you enter the lobby you are blasted by a giant fan and can tell the space is heavily perfumed* The bellmen were friendly but literally would just stand there and not always helpful. Housekeeping would take our towels but not replace them. We had to call quite a few nights (sometimes more than once) for towels and getting them took forever. Our room was on one of the lower floors. From the get go we smelled a stench that we could not put our finger on. Thought OK maybe it was us from traveling all day in the crazy heat. Gave it a few days but it wouldn't go away. It got pretty bad and we could tell it was coming from the bathroom. Called the front desk and they told us they would try to move us. To their credit they did something about it and by the afternoon we were on a much higher floor but same room stack. I could smell it over the toilet still but it wasn't as bad because we were higher and further from sewage stink? I get that nyc smells bad but it shouldn't smell bad inside a hotel of such standing. *I figured that's what the big fan and perfume blast was for upon entry. Our shower leaked all the way to the carpet / bedroom area and that may contribute to the mildewy smell as well. I think they need to do something about the poor shower design instead of just redoing the building facade. Pros: location. A station right at the corner. So convenient. Walking distance to Central Park and Columbus circle. Also they used Fresh brand toiletry products Overall I can't recommend this place and will never return. I'd rather pay the higher prices for a true high end hotel or go 'cheaper' and know to expect it.

The room was spacious and the location is great! Other than that, the overall experience was HORRIBLE. There was no hot water the whole 4 nights we stayed. The T.Vs in the lounge and bedroom did not work correctly. There is no room service at this hotel. We called for extra coffee and water, they took 1 1/2 hours to bring it to the room. The front desk personal was impolite, really didn’t care to help in anyway. We asked to store our bags and they told us to wait until the bell man came back to help us, when there was 5 people standing behind the desk doing nothing but gossiping about another guest. I guess it “wasn’t there job” to help with bag storage. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Prices should reflect the service they provide of $200 a night not 650$a night.
