Very delicious and authentic noodles車仔麵. Its so good that I have to buy it back to London to give my boyfriend a try!
P.S. their fans since I was in university. It’s one of my must go restaurant when I’m back to Brighton for conference! Will come back for sure

Devastated is an understatement.
This place was a god send and I was hoping I'd never see the day it closed.
Vurger was my go to. It followed me through many new homes, jobs, celebrations, lunch breaks, dates and hangover healing.
Even my meat loving colleagues loved getting this as a take out.
The gluten-free free vegans (and some omnivores) will miss you dearly. Heartbroken 💔
*Big sad sigh*

Chic and moody with a touch of glam, Medusa nails the balance between elegance and edge. Cocktails are creative, well-crafted, and beautifully presented — especially the Choconut Milkshake (a must-try). Service is smooth, vibe is intimate yet lively, and the menu brings personality without pretension. Ideal for date nights, small groups, or when you just want to sip something special.

How lovely to finally dine at Kitgum, after having tried their food at a local music festival last summer. It feels like the best bits of a local London neighbourhood restaurant - intimate, inviting, buzzing atmosphere, great cocktails. We got started with the cod roe puri (delicious) and a coconut rum cocktail (also wonderful). Food came out quickly so you’re never left yearning for more - very important in a small plates setting - although the portions are good. The daal was some of the best we’ve ever had - super flavoursome and well spiced. Tomatoes with coriander was sublime, beef shin curry silky and rich, and the fried chicken with spiced tomato yogurt…incredible. Wine was lovely too (I had a glass of the Gamay - perfectly matched with the food flavours), and then dessert was a delicious saffron kulfi. Service was friendly, unfussy, and welcoming. It was a shame they had ran out of their single malt whisky that was advertised with dessert - as that would have really been the icing on the cake, but all in all it was a really super meal and experience - and another in the (sadly) small handful of really elevated Brighton food spots.

7 of us enjoyed a lovely evening meal here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. The mussels are a definite must have - absolutely divine texture, taste and sauce. Would come here again.

Absolutely amazing meal here last weekend. They have a delicious, different, and taste provoking menu ... worth every penny of the £35 per head fixed price. Our party sampled nearly all of the small plates and none disappointed; of particular note were the salmon crudo (with apple and ginger), the 'smacked' cucumber, the Nutbourne tomatoes (with orange and jalapeno), and the hispi cabbage (with marmite and onion). And don't forget the seaweed butter...... Definitely give stars!!!
Casa de humo bien establecida justo al lado de la playa - excelentes kippers y caballa ahumada. Mi esposa tenía su rollo de tocino ahumado y también le encantó.
No big stouts at the moments at The Hole so my mate Mark bought me 1/2 of Overtone's Lost in the Dream. Different kettle all together, big in flavor and at 7.8 on the ABV its not shy. £5.50 all in. Cheers Mark.
Excellent roast. Review would have been 5 stars but for the disappointing beer selection and the fact they want to add a service charge for food that isn’t mentioned on the menu. To be fair the staff immediately removed it when I asked why I was being overcharged.
I searched for breakfast near me, I wanted to try a new cafe, so I found this one.. hot and well made tasty breakfast( I had pouched eggs on toasted muffin with bacon and grill tomatoes 7.90£) clean place, lovely staff 👌🏻🌺
Definitely we’ll be back!
I went yesterday to Palmito with friends. My booking was at 2:30 pm. My friends and I loved the food. The fusion, flavours. I knew there were small dishes, as tapas. We decided to order two dishes each. The waiter almost demanded we need order three each, we didn't feel like it, so we said we will order more if we needed and he replied kitchen close at 3 pm. How a booking for 2:30 can give us such as short time for order. We loved the food, but I didn't feel comfortable with the waiter.
I hope this feedback helps to improve service of one my favourite food places in Brighton.
Wonderful little gem of a French Bistro, with genuine French Chef and Waiter - great atmosphere and nice food. We ate outside in glorious sunshine and really enjoyed our lunch.
