The best restaurants in Brighton and Hove South East

Fantastic flavours, small plates. Recently changed to £35/head set menu. Too much for some of us in the group. And made it more pricey than before. Would prefer the option to choose a la carte.

The food was cold and service was bad last night Friday night and her daughter a bad too never going back again when it say coffee from nescafe and is not as it kendo coffee and we had to pay £3.50 just for hot water wot the joke to as well then and why even the manager should of said been happy then Then £40 and there was atmosphere in the restaurant was not welcome to wife

Excellent fish and chips. Freshly cooked. Crispy batter. Good service. Definitely recommend.

Es un café decente, ya que es fácil conseguir un aparcamiento en la calle por la mañana. Como turista, esperamos un servicio amable y comida decente. Este café podría ser mejor en ambos. El desayuno inglés es normal y la tostada es relativamente delgada y poco tostada. Los frijoles estaban fríos y el huevo y las carnes estaban bien. Amabilidad, sí y no, ya que siempre fui muy educado, pero la señora no era muy sensible. Sí... sólo un restaurante y otro cliente...

Great food and service. The ‘pizzas’ and falafel were delicious! The seats and table could use a bit of an update/repair but don’t let that deter you from enjoying a great meal here.

we went there for my wife's birthday and the service was absolutely fantastic only matched by the food the porchetta was superb as was the sardines starter and the choice for vegetarians was great I cannot thank the team enough for making my wife day so special

El mejor filete de todos los tiempos. medio raro. mejores patatas fritas con pimentón, etc. si pudiera dar 100 estrellas lo haría. El personal es increíble y amable. simplemente ir, realmente es una necesidad en su lista de deseos.

Me and a group of friends had been walking around for ages trying to find a somewhere to eat and stumbled upon this and so glad we did ! Great coffee ( my husband is a little bit of a coffee snob so it’s a great complement) and the breakfast menu was lovely such variety and great flavour! Staff were lovely and chatty ! If we lived local we’d be back there all the time but will definitely pop back when we visit !

After waiting in anticipation to visit one of the best rated restaurants in Brighton, we were left completely disappointed. I don't understand the hype over such bland food.

This wonderful little bistro is to be found up a side street in Rottingdean. My wife and I dropped in for lunch. Coincidentally we both chose the same dishes, the crayfish and avocado to start with the crépè rustic for the main, both were excellent.

Heads up — this pizza place is under new management. It used to serve excellent Neapolitan-style pizza, but unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. Same name, but now it’s your standard generic takeaway pizza. If you’re coming back hoping for the old style, you might be disappointed.
