Wheelies in Brighton and Hove

I reguarly order from here and the food is absolutely amazing, my usual order is the pile up or truckload with no changes and it might be the best fry up breakfast I have tasted, it is always consistent and quick. Wheelies Cafe and the Chinese place (Yummies) on the same road absolutely demolish the global/national eateries on Boundary Road in every way, be it in taste, freshness, speed and quality of service (this is whilst being better value in my opinion, you will be a bit more full for the money and MUCH happier). Highly recommended. Come and support your local takeaways!!

Good quality food. Sausage and bacon sarnies are really tasty. One of the few "traditional" cafes left in Brighton and Hove, and probably the best one.

Went for the Pile Up breakfast with a couple of changes and an Americano black coffee. Food quickly prepared and tasty. Coffee was good. Recommended.

A great place for breakfast. We usually visit the nearby Station Café when we are in the area but visited this one instead as our usual haunt is closed on a Sunday. This place turned out to be a highly acceptable replacement with good food, large portions and efficient staff. There are several tables outside in front of the premises and these get very busy on a nice day.

Couldn't fault the food and service was good . Thought it was on the more expensive side regarding the prices though .

My wife and I fancied a fry up,so we both decided to go here. The staff are very friendly and attentive,the food and service were very good. I'm sure we will return again in the near future.

On way to worthing i remembered this place and really pleased we stopped. Breakfast (medium size called 4×4) was as good as Carats but much cheaper Parked outside as it was a Sunday. Lovely service

I'd called in to the next door BMW showroom on my way to the gym. Finishing at the garage, I remembered reading about a café somewhere nearby, looked around and there was Wheelies. Nice mug of tea, a rather good bacon sandwich and a glance at one of the newspapers lying about and I was all set for the morning........... Free on street parking for 1 hour although it does get congested in this part of Portslade due to all the huge car showrooms on the street.

Slightly on the higher side price wise, but we'll worth it. Tiniest criticism, the bacon wasn't quite up to scratch, but overall, very highly recommended. Will definitely be going again!

The owner was charming and spoke to me thankfully in Greek. Seating hard on the bottom like in Greece. But I was amazed at the size of the portion of Briam. £4 from memory. Tasted fine but Greeks normally are generous at least they are in Greece. I think the owner has lived in the UK too long and is used to our minuscule portions. So I have never been back even though I would have loved to have spoken more Greek. Ti Crima - what a pity! Perhaps good for a Greek coffee?

So this new bar looks aesthetically great and the cocktails are good... although not too sure about the amount of ice they put in. However, the noise was way too loud for the small environment that it is. I went there with a group of friends during the week and could hardly hear the person next to me. Thats a complaint coming from a person in their early 20's who loves these sorts of places and noise isn't usually an issue. I can't imagine what it would be like at the weekend when it gets louder apparently. I don't see the point in having good cocktails and place to chill if the noise kills the main reason you went there. For the loud level of music you would at least expect a dance floor and the size definitely doesn't accommodate for one of those! Consequently I wouldn't advise anyone on going there if they are with anyone else and want to have a conversation etc until they turn the music down just a bit!! Oh and by the way, make sure you go in happy hour otherwise your paying HUGE prices.

Best breaky in portslade to eat recommend it

Was busy first ever visit and warned might be 30min wait but should be quicker. Order 9. Waited over 42mins and order 12 being placed on tables and bigger orders than mine. Felt ignored and unwanted so left. No food just a coffee and no apologies when I explained the wait was way over 30mins. Unacceptable and perhaps they don't like lone customers here. Won't go again.

Absolutely banging! Rang up said I'm ten min away and I wanted 1 fry up and and 1 portion of 2egg and chips. Pulled up food was ready staff were friendly and polite, easy to pay, can't complain! Good quality food as well.

The Turbo sandwich was full of grease oil. Egg was dripping and tge sausage too put me off my breakfast should have Walked to Greg's

Dropped by whilst the Mercedes people up the road were fettling the car. Enjoyed a tasty light breakfast of eggs on toast with mushrooms and beans and a mug of Rosie Lee. Good quality ingredients, well prepared and quickly served. Cafe spotlessly clean if a bit spartan. Prices very keen.

A great little discovery while on a training course. The food is very good and great value too. Even has toilets which is handy after a long drive.

Food is adequate nothing special. One star rating because the old woman that works there is rude and uncooperative. Used to be a regular. Not any more. Found a much better and more welcoming cafe just around the corner.

This small, Covid-aware, spotlessly clean cafe is THE place to wait whilst your beemer is being serviced, at the dealership next door. But you don’t need a Beemer, nor bike to come here; the friendly staff and delicious, traditional cafe fare is reason enough.

Such a lovely little cafe, food is amazing and taste yummy! Such good value for money. The 2 owners Lozzie and Emma are brilliant, they are so friendly so it makes it just that much nicer to visit. Me and my family love it here and have been back a few times this last 2 weeks!!!

We have visited this cafe on a number of occasions, the food & service is always great, this morning was no different even with current restrictions in place, also there was the added bonus of 50% off due to government eat out to help out scheme. I highly recommend a visit to Wheelies 😊😋

Wow what should I say about wheelies cafe . I really really really love this cafe so much the place is so clean and the staff is so wonderful kind caring happy people and the food is so fresh I had a wonderful bacon sandwich on white bread and it was mouthwatering it was amazing and lovely and crispy just the way I love it and it is very cheap and I will give the wheelies cafe 100 \ 100 rock on . so come on down to the wheelies cafe in portslade people you should try there amazing food

Not been there as its 200 miles away . But saw lozzie? On the Tele. So I would highly recommend it !!
