The Vurger Co Brighton in Brighton and Hove

Devastated is an understatement. This place was a god send and I was hoping I'd never see the day it closed. Vurger was my go to. It followed me through many new homes, jobs, celebrations, lunch breaks, dates and hangover healing. Even my meat loving colleagues loved getting this as a take out. The gluten-free free vegans (and some omnivores) will miss you dearly. Heartbroken 💔 *Big sad sigh*

Perfect modern vegan food - delicious and nothing died. Milkshakes especially good.

THE FESTIVE BURGER O.M.G me and my partner had our first festive burger on the Thursday..........we was in there again with in 20hrs as it was that incredible. a brioche bun filled with a succulent vegan chicken patty along side crispy bacon/hashbrown/stuffing/crispy parsnip/cranberry sauce and just top it all off, a dipping pot of gravy. If we were local to Brighton we would be back again tomorrow. We hope to see this again on the menu next year, keep up the great work you legends..........

I love the creativity of the menu, very modern vegan fast food. Everything was tasty, my only criticism is that for the price I'd expect things to taste/feel be a bit more homemade or artisanal. Also no cheez sticks!! Otherwise we are looking forward to our next Vurger experience!

Came here because we were craving milkshakes and tater tots. The Golden Reindeer milkshake was a festive treat with lots of whipped cream and chocolate antlers. Oreo milkshake was also great and you can’t go wrong with tater tots. Friendly staff and fun place. Next time we’ll actually try the burgers and so should you.

Best vegan burger I have ever tasted! The tater tots and alioli were also amazing. Only thing I would change is turn down the lights at night to create a nice atmosphere, having them up bright makes it look and feel like a cheap and nasty kebab shop and it's so much better than that. The milkshakes... oh my lord! To die for!!

Best restaurant in Brighton, the staff and the quality of the food is incredible. I can't speak highly enough of the chicken burgers which are so easy to eat, I love the mini hash browns as well as the shakes, everything is of super high quality and great value for money!

The staff are amazing and I recently visited and noticed how great the new chicken burger and nuggets are - unreal, they just keep getting better and better! Great value for money also, the portion size and the fact that they haven't put up their prices is actually a miracle, when everyone else in the market couldn't care less. Bravo Vurger! Burgers were sloppy and very difficult to eat. Price high for what you got.

The food was amazing, one of the nicest burgers I've ever had! The restaurant had a lovely vibe and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely wonderful! I’m not vegan, but I came with my vegan friend and we really enjoyed it! I’ve always been skeptical about vegan food (as a meat eater) thinking “Oh, it won’t be the same so I won’t like it!” but was really pleasantly surprised when I tried the vegan ‘chicken’ and ‘hunny’ mustard burger. If anyone isn’t sure about vegan food, I really really recommend this venue. As well as this, the staff were really lovely and I had a nice little chat with the woman working… Maya? Or Maia maybe? I could be wrong but she’s lovely. 10/10 experience!

Fantastic if you are a gluten free vegan. There are lots of choices, which other vegan places lack. Loved my food and shake.

This is quite a small venue, but it wasn't too crowded. The food and milkshake arrived reasonably quickly and tasted good. The burgers are a bit messy to eat, but they do have cutlery if needed.

Kinda expensive but burger is nice and it’s good to have a vegan option. Chips are good too, very crispy. Easy to order.

Vegan food that takes great It’s a fast food place but a good option if you are vegan or (not but just feel like doing vegan Monday 😉) I normally get salad, they are good portion and great flavour. Limited use of single use plastic. The restaurant is small but bright. Tried the sweet potato and potato chips, they are delicious!

Went for just the hunny 'chicken' vurger. The bun seemed a touch dry around the edge but as ever the crispy 'fillet' and toppings were excellent and complimented the bun. Top service.

Service très accueillant et serviable. Malheureusement le burger était beaucoup trop épicé pour moi, si vous n’aimez pas les épices attention à la sauce chili! Quantité plus que raisonnable, je n’ai pas pu finir ma portion. Rapport qualité prix très bon et tout vegan !

We had the double cheese and buffalo burger with skin on fries and hash brown bites. The food was incredible at an affordable price. The service was amazing! The staff was very kind to us and the manager and everyone on shift was very kind, polite and absolutely lovely and very helpful!!

was left disappointed and went elsewhere- seems to have really gone down hill- it hurts me to give low rating to something i would have given 5 last year- and fully vegan as well...but, it looked dismal when i visited, all sauces are gone from till area and it looks so bare, place was dead- they have completely changed menu and got rid of my fave item, that's fine, there is other stuff- but also they have changed milkshake menu and got rid of their staple and my go to 'chocolate and hazelnut'- there are four options- the only one i could imagine was strawberry but i have had that before and it tasted too chemically, I walked out with nothing and they lost £28 (which is our usual order!) and we wont be returning. We went to a nearby vegan place which was excellent. If you read this Vurger, please consider having just a chocolate milkshake if you have got rid of C& Hazelnut, instead of banoffee (bleurgh, no.) , oreo (which i tried as a special and wasn't nice) and biscoff.

Really good visit here today, decent vegan quality fast food. I had the 'chicken ' salad which was excellent ( though folks but the lettuce a bit more please! Try eating big leaves with your wooden little cutlery!😃). Its not cheap, nowhere is in Brighton and as a treat I'm fine with value at this quality

This vegan small chain has been operating for years around the UK. They do burgers, shakes and more. I had their food a few years back and loved it, however this time around I only tried their shakes. The shakes were good, but not great. The strawberry shake wasn’t my favorite, and the biscuit one was pretty good. Overall I enjoy what they are doing, just think the strawberry shake could use improvement.

Absolutely delicious. Left feeling completely stuffed, in a good way. Defo worth a visit!!

Ordered the Classic burger, 50/50 fries & an Oreo shake from The Vurger Co last night via Deliveroo. The food was very reasonably priced & arrived very quickly. The burger was nice - I’m not normally a fan of Tempeh, but this wasn’t bad I was more aware of black beans which I love. The 50/50 fries were good & I LOVED the Oreo shake. An excellent first experience with The Vurger Co & one I will definitely come back to! Highly recommended,

They removed the only true vegetarian flavour burger (Auburguer) from menu. That's very sad.

Not as good as use to be sadly…pate is half size of the old ones, they forgot to mention there is no tomato. New York melt looks like kids burger….joke for 10£. Really poor quality. No salads either…

I've always loved visiting this place in Shoreditch and I've always wanted to visit the Brighton one! The food was delicious as always and the service was great. As it was towards the end of the day, a few things weren't there but I still enjoyed having the tater tots, fries and biscoff shake.

Spectacular burgers. Uses technology very well and efficiently. Order via a QR code, food gets bought to your table. Simple and excellent. Staff are friendly and will always let you know if something isn't in stock and assist you to order.

Llegamos sobre las 8 pm. La camarera nos informó de la reducida carta que les quedaba. De cinco hamburguesas que tenían, solo nos ofrecían dos. Al saber esto, decidimos salir a dar una vuelta para pensarlo y ver si encontrábamos otro local que nos ofreciese una variedad más completa. Al ser sábado y no haber reservado, no encontrábamos otro restaurante por lo que decidimos volver a Vurger Co. Una vez entrábamos por la puerta, la camarera nos volvió a informar que solo les quedaban una hamburguesa, así que la pedimos. La calidad era nefasta, sabía solamente a aceite. La patty estaba refrita, tenia pocos ingredientes dentro y el pan estaba muy frío. Pasado un rato, ambos comenzamos a sentirnos mal, nos repetía el sabor de esta y nos dolía la barriga.

Amazing!! Ordered to eat in through the website, was so user friendly and easy to navigate. Was able to get the gluten free bun and fully customise to how I wanted it. The service was really quick and the staff were so friendly! The food was INSANE, could not believe it was all fully vegan (had the Buffalo Vurger), so delicious!! Cannot recommend enough, will definitely be coming back!

All vegan fast food, I had chicken which was tasty and the tater tots were delicious. Good sized portions and you can order on your table which is easy. I had a cookie dough milkshake and I will deffo be having that again!

Consistently excellent vegan burgers, creative and delicious in a lovely environment. Staff are always friendly and it’s such an easy place to eat. Really recommend for a tasty lunch or dinner.

Great Vege and vegan burgers, had the meal deal which includes aubergine burger, potato tota and drink for 10 quid. Burger was very nice, bun held well with the fillings and the potatoes was a huge portion. Will visit again to try other burgers. Self ordering system inside is well thought out but would of preferred old fashioned order at the till with menu as I was only customer there

Just amazing burgers full stop! I’m not vegan or vegetarian, and I couldn’t tell the difference. Can’t remember last time I enjoyed a burger this much. We ordered bbq pork, buffalo burger and truffle chorizo fried. Delicious!!! Can’t wait to come back and try the milkshakes.

Turkey burger was great but the buffalo chicken burger my partner ordered was disappointing. I know it's difficult sometimes but the 'cheese' wasn't melted. Mac and cheese was very poor. Fries and sauces were good though! (Edit: changing my rating after your pointless reply. It doesn’t say it’s melted in the description and it isn’t good).

We have high standards for burgers and we were blown away by how good these were. Fab service, nice and quick. Presented well, tastes and textures were perfection. Bacon mac and cheese was sublime as was the apple pie milkshake. Will be back.

Disappointed that the burger I ordered was cold. Staff were very apologetic and replaced it quickly. The burger itself was quite messy and the chicken strips were quite chewy. On top of that the door was left open so was quite cold inside. On a positive note the milkshakes were outstanding.

Been to this branch twice now. The first time I ordered the hunny chicken burger and chips, and the second time only ordered normal and sweet potato chips. The second time I found the normal potato chips to be a little bit too salty and slightly unevenly so, in that they weren't mixed properly. However, I can't fault the service and other than the over salting both sets of chips tasted delicious! I will definitely be returning at some point to try the Auburger. The mayo was also really delicious and I found it far less vinegary compared to most vegan mayos. I will definitely be looking into purchasing their mayo jars.

Rivalling my other B-Town vegan fast-food favourites! The hunny chicken 🤤 the sweet potato fries 🤤 the mac and cheese 🤤 THE SHAKES 🤤🤤🤤 I have no real words to say, I just drool and keep dreaming of going back. I’ve been trying to resist ordering takeaway from here most nights! Thank you for making shakes that aren’t made with soy milk! Though I understand soy being present in most vegan things, it’s no the tastiest of milks and that’s why your shakes are some of the best I’ve had in Brighton.
