The best restaurants in Regency Brighton and Hove South East

Nah.....Just not the same anymore, gone from one of the best pubs you could ever visit. Now no atmosphere, poor drink selection staff not caring if you are there or not, this is our 4th and very last visit since it reopened from Dr Bs to the Star and Garter.

Said it would be 10-15 mins delivery was an hour and 15 and it literally had 2 bits of ham and like 5 bits of lettuce was just bread!!

Decent food for good prices (if you have the app- otherwise can be pretty pricey for the quality)

Shockingly small portions of battered fish. Your paying for the view not for the food!

Went here for dinner tonight with sister and friends ordered 3 fish and chips and one fish cake and chips with beans the batter was stoggy and had no taste whats so ever. The fish was watery and squishy with absolutely no taste, the chips were either hard or soggy and yet again no taste. Made a complaint to the one member of staff that was in there to be told well I put them all in together and then walked off . Asked to speak to a manager to be told not here asked for money back as food so bad to be told the manager would call me, but as yet no phone call if you are thinking of eating here I would seriously change your mind disgraceful also huge price difference for eating compared to take

They’re review should not be as low as it is in my opinion. I ordered a shish kebab and WOW so tasty!! My only downfall is the pitta bread was falling apart so I couldn’t pick it up. So I think they need some better pitta. But taste wise I loved it all!

I knew I was ordering from a seafront takeaway so my expectations were pretty low before I entered. But I was not prepared for what I got. Upon trying to order I was brusquely told to use the machine by the man stood behind the counter. Why he couldn't take the order himself I shall never know. It's not as though it was busy. With our £22.80 medium pizza ordered. We settled down to wait. Fortunately they are buy one get one free so you only get mugged off if you don't have a buddy with you. After an unusually long wait I was presented with a pizza that, to be completely honest, was of a quality that I probably exceeded when making pizzas with my dear old mum when I was a little 'un. The base was average at best. The presentation and distribution of toppings was dreadful, messy and in places over the edge of the base, leaving a soggy crust to try to hold. The tomato sauce might as well have just been straight out of a jar of tomato paste it had that little to say for itself. Thoroughly disappointing and at twice the price. Save yourself the trouble and try having a few pebbles off the beach and a glass of sea water instead.

Me ha encantado la experiencia de realizar un curso de danza brasileña en la hermosa sala en la parte superior de The Tempest. ¡Se siente como un espacio secreto cada vez que voy allí! El personal es servicial, el gerente muy servicial y el espacio está completamente decorado con gran iluminación, buen equipo de DJ y una gran pista para bailar. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente como sala de actos y como lugar para pasar el rato y disfrutar de una copa o dos.

Pedir en línea de ellos es una ESTAFA. Ellos están felices de tomar su dinero sin garantía de que alguna vez recibirá su pedido. Mi pedido en línea nunca llegó. Envié correos electrónicos repetidamente pero no recibí respuesta. Llamé a la tienda, y dijeron que solo se ocupan de los problemas de pedido por correo electrónico. Eso obviamente no es cierto, porque nadie responde a mis correos electrónicos. Utilicé su chat en vivo en su sitio web, y la única respuesta que recibí fue que me enviarán un correo electrónico, lo que no han hecho. We all enjoyed our food here, lovely cod and chips. Kids had the nuggets, no complaints from them! Will be returning when next in Brighton

UberEats eh? you not picking up the phone? Not delivering your order? 2 hours we’ve waited when it said ‘20 minute delivery’. What an absolute shambles.

I paid £25 for sausage, chips, and curry sauce, but what I received was oven chips, a greasy sausage, and watery curry sauce. The quality was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the staff were rude and the restaurant was in a dirty condition. I expect much better service and food for that price.

This place definitely needs Gordon Ramsay! The manager is in denial and needs to take on feedback and improve. Bella Italia was full, so we ended up eating at this restaurant. The lady was extremely pleasant and probably saves the business. We got the wrong drink and when we asked for the right drink, we were told we'd have to pay for it. My prawns were not cooked and my food was cold. The pizza was undercooked and when I said I did not want to pay service charge, the manager did not accept that I felt the service was not great. He took it off and was very cold. If you are visiting Brighton, I would try somewhere else so you can enjoy your stay.

0 estrellas - ¡huye! El peor pescado con patatas fritas de la historia, servicio increíblemente lento, personal horrible, comida repugnante! Una señora que estaba delante de mí había cobrado dos veces por su comida, lo que significa que había pagado 90 libras esterlinas , se negaron a creerle o reembolsarla a pesar de que su banco les dijo que fue su error - también se negaron a darle el doble de la comida! “¡La máquina no comete errores!” Pedí un reembolso solo para que mi comida apareciera mágicamente después de una espera de 45 minutos - fue una falta. Puede pedir usando una pantalla que CLARAMENTE no están configurados para administrar, personal mínimo, mesas sucias. No puedo creer que todavía estén en el negocio, desearía haber revisado las reseñas primero, pero estábamos en un apuro y asumimos que una tienda de pescado con papas fritas junto al mar podría administrar servir alimentos comestibles de manera oportuna sin ser desagradablemente grosero con los clientes.
