The best restaurants serving American food in Regency Brighton and Hove South East

Have visited on many occasions but this time I really doubt I will return. We had a group of friends and one birthday to celebrate. We were the second table to sing happy birthday and then were pounced upon by the bar manager and advised we were not allowed to sing as it might disturb other guests night out! The table next to us said they had a birthday but wouldn’t sing as they don’t want to be told off in such an embarrassing way. No surprise the table of guys who had sung nothing was said yet the bar manager felt he could have a go at ladies. Thought this sort off sexism was not prevalent in Brighton of all places but obviously we were wrong! Really disappointed.

Worthy of my first bad review in years. Wouldn’t do me a veggie version of the nachos, so ordered Beyond Meat Burger. £15.50. Nobody else eating in the entire pub, so thought it would be quick. Turns up half and hour later, somehow cold. Arrives on a tiny side plate, with nothing else, no fries, nothing. £15.50 for a small patty in bread. Was told the bar staff should have mentioned fries when I ordered. Met with blank stares by staff when we mention it’s cold. Avoid for food. What’s worse.. had a sea shanty band on St Patrick’s night. I miss the 80’s.

The waiters were extremely kind and thoughtful about our specific orders. The restaurant itself is so decorative that I actually thought I was in 1950s America! Great for families, amazing presentation and food, you should definitely go to Ed’s in Brighton!!!!

I got an amazing service experience here last night, despite being super busy, Ereej was super friendly and helpful and she was recommending to me what flavours I should get. The ice cream was one of the best I’ve had in Brighton

I used to love this restaurant - amazing burgers, nice place to sit. I went in this week for a treat. Waited 20 minutes while delivery drivers got served. Chips arrived cold after 20 minutes. Then the vegan burger was actually beef. The staff replaced both, but the eventual vegan burger was horrible. I'm not sure what the kitchen team, but I've only had a worse meal once, and that was when someone tried to make steak tartar e by chopping up raw beef with a knife. I provided feedback but have received no response even when this is promised within 24 hours, so 36 hours after the worst meal in Brighton, probably the UK, all I can do is provide this feedback. I think the restaurant had a very bad day, with untrained kitchen staff. The lady serving really did try, but the food was inexcusably bad.

Drinks had no flavour, apart from that everything else was spot on

We were looking for a pub to kill some time before our off-peak train ticket back to the hotel was valid, when we stumbled upon this small jewel in a side road of Brighton.A big sortiment of keg and cask beers as well as ciders, fair prices and likeable personnel satisfies the needs of every pub visitor who's looking for a cozy place to explore some beers. Would definitely visit again!

My fiancé and I stumbled upon this business looking for some breakfast, having already been to the twisted lemon the night before. We were the first people there, so we were chatting with the staff while we were waiting on our drinks (who were all wonderful and attentive)! The tea was great, but the smoothie was fantastic, as was all the food! The eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked, hollandaise sauce was delicious, even the toast was lovely! I had a full English, and everything was cooked superbly, nothing on my plate was overlooked! Lastly we had a small bowl of hash brown bites, which were unbelievable, and were given as a freebie due to my order not being registered on the till (through no fault of their own). In short, a wonderful experience with wonderful food! Definitely recommend!

Today I went K.F.C western road in Brighton. I brought a food for 3 person. Table wasn’t clean and I asked coustomer service lady for cleaning young chinese lady’s body language was very rude. And I went again there for paper plates same lady was not politely serving me. Look like I begged for plates. She threw at me behaving like this. I’m so disappointed ☹️

Food was fine, place was clean, we were there after the Anime convention, so the vibe was fun. But they were playing christian country music. Huge vibe killer.
