Coffee was lovely but I won't be back as they don't accept cash! Silly having to use a card for a coffee! Plenty of lovely Coffee places in Brighton who happily accept cash.
Weirdly a very disappointing burger place for a chain like this. From the lack of flavour to mid service, something is wrong at this location and here is why.
Food - ordered the Don Jon burger which is basically a double cheeseburger with slices of pancetta. The server asked how I went like it cooked and today went with medium well and to say the least it came out like that. But the beef was dripping wet and soaked the bottom bun. The whole burger tasted just like beef, no taste of the onions or cheese in this burger. Not even was the patties seasoned with salt and pepper and definitely no mallard just sad wet grey patties.
Now it says it comes with pancetta which is fancy bacon. Got a single half a slice in my burger. Definitely not worth it.
The rosemary fries were missing the rosemary it seemed and had a lot of salt, way too much and I like to salt my fries in most places but that was too much.
Now the double chocolate milkshake. It was basically just chocolate nesquik in a small 300ml glass definitely not worth £5.50. Both myself and my partner where disappointed with the quality and price.
Service - nothing much to say in a good way. The server who took are order was nice. But everyone else was rushing and just putting things down with us knowing. They also didn't bring us are burgers on plates just wrapped up like it was to go. Now with minimum interaction from them and no smiles or how's it going.
When we went to pay they automatically put a service charge of 12.5% on the bill. Two people ordering food not a party. No reason to put that automatically on.
I asked for it to be taken off and the bill guy seemed annoyed and huffed off to re do it. Definitely one of the worst services I have had and to think you want a tip for not interacting with me is ridiculous.
Atmosphere - it's a burger chain that is trying to be high end. Music was a tad to high. The layout of the restaurant could be better placed on the end of a strangers table. The stranger having a dog on there lap the whole time is definitely not sanitary.
Now there is one 2 toilets in that place and both definitely had not been cleaned. Piss on the floor and skids in the bowl with a loose toilet seat. Dirt and debris around the sink with a loose bottle of soap just left there.
Many reasons I gave this rating today. It's just not good. The food was edible but not great. Will not be back again at this location until something has definitely changed.
Tasty and cheap. You pay once, eat as much as you want. I also recommend tasty buffet dishes and milkshakes. The only thing you can complain about are the prices of drinks, but that's probably normal in this type of places
Extremely poor customer service. One of the Stuffs behaviour was too rude to handle. Stay away from this branch if you don't want to ruin your mood & day. This branch is destroying Pret's goodwill, not recommended!

I've been there yesterday (19/01) for the second time, this time with a friend who is even pickier than me... And again! Nothing to complain. The food was amazing, it is a family run business and you can feel the love and attention they put into it. We had lahmcum and Adana kofte. Besides the great food, the place is clean and well decorated - a nice atmosphere. They have a wooden oven which makes the total difference. After moving from London it was a great relief to find a proper Turkish restaurant in Brighton
Decent selection of wines and beers, nachos quite disappointing but whitebait was satisfying, nice beer garden but could use some outside heaters because it gets very cold when the sun goes down

Excellent Japanese restaurant where you can get quick and simple takeaway food. The classic dish is made up of rice and a protein, which can be chicken (very good) with a very good slightly spicy Sarsina, or even fish. The prices are not low, we are talking about 10€ per portion, but in line with the high prices found in Brighton, and in general in England! I recommend enjoying it a few steps away, in the garden of the Royal Pavilion, because there are no seats in the restaurant.

I had a mad experience with this restaurant, I booked and paid the deposit for my birthday dinner of 8 people (had an actual conversation with a member of staff for this) and when we turned up they were closed with zero explanation... even though it was regular business hours. Two stars only because when we went in to get a refund, which we only did because they ignored my messages on social media, they gave us free drinks as a courtesy
