Patty&Bun in Brighton and Hove

I recently went to patti and bun yesterday with my partner and had 2 lamb burgers. I have previously been there a few times and came back to let my partner experience the lamb burger. Unfortunately the meat was loaded with far too much chilli which lost the taste of the lamb. Previously I don't remember it tasted like this. The waitress didn't come with the water we ordered.I don't normally post reviews but the excess chilli which made me ill later on and the 12.5% service charge hidden in very small print at the bottoms of the drinks menu...changed this.

very friendly and welcoming staff and the food is 10/10 seriously so not miss out of this little gem would recommend!

Went here with a friend really excited as I heard good things and saw on social media they had good vegan options, I had the vegan Pamala which was good but it came out luke warm I also had the vegan brisket was wayy too salty I hate leaving food particularly at those prices but I physically couldn't eat anymore my friend tried it and agreed, prices were not worth it I hate leaving negative reviews as I understand how they can impact businesses but I had to. Do not go here.

Ordered a 2-for-1 takeaway—felt like winning at life…until the burgers arrived. Service was friendly and quick, but the burgers came soaked in grease and the bun was soggy. Don't think they drained them or let them rest.

A different concept for a burger that more than gets the job done. Fries with rosemary were a highlight. Had burgers been a favorite of mine, it would probably have been rated higher.

I won £100 to spend here a few weeks ago. It ended up being £45, because I had to pay £5 postage, and then found I had been sent £50 in vouchers, which was just as well, as they had to be used within 2 days of being received anyway. My sister and I were met by very welcoming and friendly staff when we visited to spend the vouchers. They very kindly helped us decide what to order, and we left with a nice big feast for the evening. The place also had a lovely atmosphere, so we will definitely visit again to dine-in in future.

Absolutely banging burgers as always! Staff always charming and friendly, place is clean and has a funky vibe. Honestly still my favourite burger in Brighton hands down!

I dined at Patty&Bun yesterday and had a fantastic experience. We got the lamb burger with some appetisers and the food was of high quality. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was super friendly. The manager was on top of things and lovely to talk to. Would highly recommend and I look forward to going back.

Always love me some P&B burgers! I love that they have different special menu each month, although Smokey Robinson is a comfort menu for me :) They also have the best deals for students! The staffs are very friendly too. Definitely recommended.

The BBQ wings and salad were fine. The rum punch was the star.

Food was amazing .. we ordered the classic and the lampshak both were delicious. The lampshack was full of flavors with eggplant and tahini sauce

Elite food, lovely beer, fast service and great music choice! Their marketing lady is a delight too.

Great location, ok food - MeatLiqour and Honest Burger are better and the portion sizes are larger - slow service. The milkshake was great but for the price you'd get more at Five Guys. The Brisket Fries were good but the portion is not big enough for two people- order a sharer at Meatliquor and compare the sizes.

Amazing burger and rosemary fries. The meat in the burger was tender and perfectly cooked for medium as requested. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Brighton and wanting a great burger.

We had a really good time dinning here, the stuff was lovely, specially Beatriz who recomended us about the menu and things to do around the city. Burguers were delicious! Patties were well seasoned and the fully melted cheese and sauces made them juicy and tasty. Sure we will come back!

I would highly recommend it. A few friends came over from Southampton for a walk around. For a late lunch, we stopped here, and just looking at the menu, I knew what was needed. An Ari Gold. For those who haven't seen it, Ari is one of the main characters in the series 'Entourage'. I never thought I would say I've eaten Ari Gold, but now I can. The staff was friendly, good timed, and made no folts. I'll see you all again next time I'm over there. Cheers

when dinner first started we were v impressed. The vegan burgers are absolutely delicious and so are the fries. The vegan brisket however was way too salty and overall more like loaded fries with vegan chilli so not at all what you expect. The staff was not that nice and at the end they ended up adding a 12.5% service charge without asking or even mentioning it - and it deffo wasn’t written on the menu. So that left up a bit surprised. Overall burgers are good but not my favourite place in Brighton

The food and staff were excellent tonight. Great burgers and fries and a good kids menu too. I went for the standard burger and had it cooked medium. It was perfectly cooked and very tasty too. Fries were well seasoned. Highly recommended. 10 times better than Honest Burger down the street!

Il locale si trova in un incrocio nel centro di Brighton. È un tipico locale inglese. Il cibo è ottimo, siamo rimaste molto soddisfatte. I panini erano davvero gustosi: il lambshank redemption e il vegan Pamela 2.0 (fatto con redefine meat). Anche il gelato al caramello salato è notevole. Il personale è molto cordiale, i ragazzi si soni fatti in quattro per accontentare le nostre richieste. Consigliatissimo!

We.arrived 20.mins before they closed, and they shouldn't have let us in. Food was awful, I'm a veggie ('ish) and ordered cheese balls, chips, cole slaw. Don't do it!

We came here on our last day in Brighton the staff there were super friendly. The good is great quality they have a few vegan and vegetarian burgers to choose from. The Cherry bomb cocktails were my favourite they also do a pickle back.

We visited this restaurant after being turned away from several restaurants for not having advanced booking, so we were grateful for a table. The food was reasonably priced, although I would advise diners to avoid ordering the vegan bacon - the texture was similar to Brighton rock!

Worst food i have ever had and service was very poor definitely was not worth it burger was bland and tasteless and chicken thighs had a bad smell to the chicken one place to definitely avoid will definitely not go again such a waste of money🤢

Outstanding Halal Lambshank Burger; one of the best in Brighton! Friendly servers too. It is a shame, however, that the burger is extremely overpriced and the portion is small.

I have lived in Brighton for 5 years now, I have tried every burger restaurant, and Patty&Bun have the best burgers by a mile. The quality and flavour of the meat is incredible. They also make amazing sides and drinks, couldn’t recommend them enough!

Petty and bun serves juicy, flavorful burgers with excellent sides. Friendly staff and great ambiance make it a must-visit!

This Patty & Bun was a great choice during our trip to Brighton. The food is simply fantastic—especially the Smokey Robinson, which was cooked to perfection. But what really stood out was the service. Julija, our server, was amazing—so attentive and friendly. She made us feel right at home and added a special touch to our dining experience. If you're looking for great food and even better service, this is the place to go.

Place was buzzing, food was unreal big compliments to the chefs, service was great with the the 2 waitresses running round to accommodate a huge group of walks and still have time to make sure everyone else was okay. Great credit to all of you, keep up the good work.

I frequent P&B when I'm in Brighton and I can never fault it, the food is always amazing and the service is great too. It can be busy at points, but it's admittedly the best burger place I've been to. I had the special today, but normally I would go with the Smokey Robinson - an absolute classic and perfect burger. My friend had the vegan one and was absolutely in love with it, a very convincing and tantalising vegan Smokey Robinson! We had the vegan chicken wings too, which genuinely I cannot fault. Always will be a returning customer!

Good food but the service was horrible. Made me and my family feel very unwelcome. Based on this I would not feel happy coming back

The food is always great at Patty&Bun. However, on my last visit, the order took ages to arrive and was missing add on items. Mistakes can happen, and I will still be back nonetheless. They are also dog friendly, which is great.

Absolutely delicious! You just can't go wrong here. I give it a 4.1 overall. In UK standards, it would be a 4.8. The only thing that stops me from giving it a 5.0 is the juice in the meat. I want the meat to be juicy when I bite, and maybe a little bit bigger burger. But I'm really picky. This is one of the best I've ever had. Still looking for the ultimate one that was close. Guys, work on the amount of fat in the meat.

Had a lunchtime deal 12.95 for any burger including rosemary fries , I had the lamb which was cooked medium juicy and very tasty, food was fab, staff were really friendly and cheerful, thoroughly would recommend this place

Honestly the best burger I've ever had! It's a compact place but we still managed to get in with a rather large buggy and park it to the side while the lovely staff got our daughter a highchair. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided a children's menus with colouring/crayons. Food was served quickly and cooked fresh to order. The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection, while the skin on fries were the best accompaniment with the roast chicken mayo 🤤 Unfortunately we haven't got one closer to home but if we come across one again I'm heading in! This is how burgers should be served.

Ordered the lamb shank burger and beef brisket fries. Both absolutely delicious. Burger is messy but so amazingly worth it and the brisket fries were out of this world

We just had a wonderful meal for 6 people. Nobody could fault their burgers, we had fantastic cocktails and even enjoyed the ice cream sandwich! Julia was brilliant at looking after us and very accommodating! I have had nothing but lovely interactions with the staff.

Patty Bun was recommended whilst on a day out in Brighton but could not remember the name Walking down the lanes it was lit up full of atmosphere and friendly staff that greeted us 10 strong with open arms Food was on point and I would certainly not forget the name of the place again Great food, welcoming staff and a good atmosphere

Popped in for a late dinner and thought they might be closed but they really welcomed us and the food was absolutely amazing! The truffle shuffle was definitely the highlight. Thank you again to the staff who were super lovely! ❤️

An overpriced greasy mess. Burger was over cooked and so greasy the bun had dissolved by the time it got to the table. Service was slow and really not welcoming. Tried to over charge us and adding 12.5% service charge to a burger joint where you don't even get a tray to eat off is a joke. Early evening (17.30) the restaurant was playing explitive music which was not great given many children were in the restaurant.

We went for a birthday celebration 🎂 the food was amazing. Milkshakes also lovely. The prices were very expensive and service slow at clearing away plates etc which is why it is not 5 stars

Came here with my family. Food is delicious, in particular the chips. Waiters were helpful and the food came quite quickly. A bit pricey for a burger but it was definitely worth it.
