Pret a Manger in Brighton and Hove

Not great. Dismissive staff member after genuine mistake. Better to own mistakes in my view. Food good though and vibe ok. Maybe she was having a hard day. Won't go here again.

Good coffee and value nice location, usually can get a seat.

It's a nice place. We had a quick brunch with tea and coffee.

Utter garbage service and ridiculously overpriced. Ordered a flat white which was delivered to my table very impolitely and had clearly been sat there for from a previous order. It was no longer hot and no longer resembled a flat white. A tepid coffee with milk and a basic sandwich cost me over a tenner. More fool me for deciding to come here.

Not crazy, the cookie was extremely dry, and the staff not super friendly…

Just a normal Pret, perfect for lunches-on-the-go.

Staff can be a little rude and abrupt. Very moody staff but manager is helpful Not able to get decaf coffee for days as machine was broken and there was no urgency of getting it fixed

Your usual Pret, you can get hot or cold drinks, and a selection of snacks, sandwiches etc, same as all the others.

No dogs….shocking in today’s Society. Unlike London where dogs are most welcome in all the prets I have visited.

This branch of Pret l, feels almost unique, the quality of coffee that comes from huge buying power (all organic!), combined with a local coffee house vibe, the manger with the glasses is extremely courteous and very professional. The best in Brighton by a long shot.

Soup was cold , coffee was missing , tuna baguette bread was stale .. First ever bad pret experience and boy did it go wrong . The only good thing was the delivery time ! I ordered a cookie to go with the latte that was missing, so the whole order was a disaster

Worst almond croissant i've ever had. Was basically a MARZIPAN croissant. Then i paid 70p for a Banana which needed at least another week in the larder, if u know what i mean (green!!). Was like eating a piece of wood. Coffee was good, staff friendly. I will return.

A standard Pret. Wish there was more seating though, and also hope the next time I get a mocha from here it isn’t as bland

The girl with very black hair this morning was extremely rude. 7am and this is how they treat people.

Sandwich and coffee were great, but Pret forgot to put my Melvin snowman in with my order. Not happy about that!

It was a great place having a break with a decaf pumpkin spice latte when visited Brighton, with an accessible toilet.

This place really needs to get some power plugs by the tables at the front of the store seeing ad they persistently insist in closing the back area 4 hours before close every day and the back area is the only place with plug sockets. Loads of people come here to work in laptops, such as myself, it is infuriating that every single day I get moved minutes after I sit down because the area is closing. Get some power plugs at the front if the shop!!! Or stop closing your back area when the shop is clearly FULL and people are struggling to find somewhere to sit/having to share tables. Stupid.

Falafel wrap gritty. I think something in the salad with the Falafel had not been rinsed properly

Very disappointing. Went with a friend to grab a cool drink. Ordered & sat at provided chairs and tables outside. Within minutes (4pm) one person started noisily clearing away other tables and chairs around us; she then barked that she was closing the area and we needed to leave or sit inside. We complained to the supervisor who said they were short staffed and this was to make things easier for them despite they’re being three staff members behind the bar talking. Shocking customer service.

Having purchased drinks and enjoying them at a cool outside table, we were surprised when staff started stacking tables and cleaning up around us, which we found very rude. We were even more surprised to be told, 90 minutes before the cafe closed, that we had to leave as they were closing the outside area and that we had to move into the hot crowded interior. On complaining to the supervisor we were told that there was nothing they could do as someone had not turned up for their shift. We pointed out they could have told us this before we purchased drinks or sat down outside but were just told it was outside their control. This is not the sort of customer experience we expected.

Terrible staff. They could’t make Macchiato properly (too much foam) next time I’ve ordered a double espresso and asked for a bit of milk she didn’t like it and start saying it’s an extra 60p which she wasn’t able to charge me even after insisting .. btw I’ve never been asked for extra for 3 table spoons of milk ever

2. Good food but need some improvement in the most busiest times as the service sometimes is very slow.

Sadly - Pret you have gone from hero to zero. It’s not the individual stores fault but the overall decision to remove 3 or 4 vegan options and replace them with veggie or meat options, is a real shame. We used to spend far too much money with you every month and now we won’t spend any. We’ve lost the hot wrap options, several cold options and you’ve got one baguette, a veggie curry thing and a spicy soup. Not all vegans / Vegetarians want spicy. For a organisation that promotes its sustainability ethos to the customers all over the walls, these decisions do not reflect it. Time to spend our money elsewhere.

The staff is really mean. The Pret in Brighton must be the nust busy cafe here.

Asked for coffee, got dishwater. Asked barista to correct, got dirtier dishwater. Avoid.

Asked to move because they were going to close the back of house seating because they wanted to start cleaning, this also meant Toilets were unavailable and this was well before closing time. Thankfully the Pavilion Lawns Cafe will be open soon, if not nowadays. Really bad experience over all.

Too much price for the food especially the sandwiches and hot food And coffee membership is good but it’s boring to have same coffee every day they need to add some more coffee options

Such a shame, no more daily coffee and sandwich after work, cancelled my coffee subscription too. Train Station (used to close at 6 pm) and North St. now close at 5 pm and East St. closes at 5.30 pm. I get back to Brighton at 5 pm daily! Why shut the Train Station an hour earlier?

This cafe in town is easily accessible but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. From the moment I entered, I noticed that the staff appeared to be quite rude and uninterested in attending to the guests. They seemed in a hurry to take our order and didn't bother to provide any recommendations or answer our questions about the menu. To make matters worse, the staff tried to falsely pursue us to pay £5 to charity without our consent, which made us quite uncomfortable. When we asked for a refund, they didn't seem bothered and simply brushed us off. The overall atmosphere of the cafe was quite unwelcoming, with the staff appearing to be more interested in their own conversations rather than serving the guests. The decor and cleanliness of the cafe were also subpar, making the experience even more unpleasant. Won't visit here again.

Not the best Pret around. Very busy store. Only one power socket for laptops and most of the seating is outside. 3/4 of the inside seating closes 2 hours before closing time! What's that all about?

Nice and relaxing with a one year old. Toilet needs constant checking but altogether nice time here.

the woman seems to be manager she told me you have to leave! But other customers are still sitting there. I am not sure about the reason, I know they’re closing soon, but why just say to me in a rude and aggressive way. Is just because I am Asian???

I go to this Pret every day and I like it very much!

Staff rude as usual, they ask customers to leave the tables just because they want to close the area, unprofessional they should close they area, so newnew customers to use the table in that area and when the current customers leave the tables. It close specifically their are not any available tables. You can ask customers to move from table to other table, not just leave the table because this area closed. And still more than an hour to the shop to closed. Ask ask for take away. Also they do not help and support the elderly, ask a chair for my mother, although their is tables with chairs in closed area. This this what Pret Manager want to present to the community. I always have issues with this branch because of the staff. I do like Pret A Manager but this branch gives bad reputation.

In Brighton there is only three branch, unfortunately the staff on this branch most of them are not friendly, rude if customer requests some if you can't make it talk to them fine and quietly, and some even racial. They are the only branch put a sign to customers to be respectful, surely customer would be not nice to just branch staffs. I totally understand them if any.

Always look for Pret, unfortunately gave wrong food & drink, told that a drink was unavailable, only to see a customer a few minutes later with one ?? Wont hurry back to this store.

the kiddy that served me was really rude, mumbling, no smile. then gave my drink to someone else and called me out in front of everyone waiting for getting my order wrong? really not a pleasant experience, made me feel very anxious & won't go back :(

Staff very unpleasant. No politeness andzero social skills. Unhappy and sour. Terrible drinks, very poor food, and a man dancing and waving at the entrance for a whole hour, while inside the cafe, a man engaged in a, long monologue with his voices, gesticulating wildly and constantly talkibg. This pkace was dire yesterday.

Dirty seating area, wobbly table, worst cup of tea imaginable. Staff member barking orders at customers, "don't sit there, don't use that toilet" etc. To cap it all she made us use the disabled toilet which had a non functioning hand dryer. I told her about it, she went to check , then shouted back "it's working now" as she wiggled the door handle up and down. Handle/Hand dryer, I suppose they both start with H, easy mistake to make if English is not your first language. I regret not using a local coffee shop and supporting local business.

I’ve been in three days in row to be told they can’t make frappés as it’s too late in the day?! They are open until 6pm but refuse to make them after 4.30pm due to “staffing issues”. When I mentioned that I come in later as I work nights and that they had told me this 3 days in a row the woman shrugged and said “you need to understand our situation”. Seems their situation is being more worried about closing down areas of the shop than serving paying customers. I was trying the subscription but it’s a waste of time and money.

When u have ur favourite #Drinks than Words can be as sweet as candy or as sharp as a blade. That's the beauty of it. I know I lost my love!

I went to pret on 16th July at 7:00AM. I have special dietary requirements and there were no salmon sandwiches. The lady with long dark hair in a pony tail went the extra mile in ensuring the kitchen staff made me one. She was very kind and she didn’t have to go that step further. If we were allowed to tip I would have tipped her. Amazing service

I'm daily customer for this cafe as of started using the Pret's Coffee Subscription.

I visited at peak time and they were very busy but the member of staff that served me was very abrupt and literally chucked everything in a bag, shoved it over the counter and then moved on to the next customer.

We Found The Staff Were Difficult In Dealing With Disabled People Bad Experience For Us

Lovely ham, cheese and mustard bugette and an iced Latte. No seats inside, but found one outside. Toilets need a passcode and were very clean.

Have always enjoyed food/drink at different Pret branches. After today's experience, will avoid them. Hot chocolate was just warm, not hot. Toasted 3 cheese and spring onion sandwich was appalling: served in a bag, stuck to a piece of cardboard, the filling dripping out, they'd only cut top slice of bread, so lightly toasted it was floppy. Had to ask for a napkin. Paid £7.45. And although busy and well-staffed, did not see tables being wiped or cleared by staff. Terrible!

Quick takeaway coffee for to continue my journey. Got this place clean n tidy. Even though quick service but service was not nice. Not happy the way staff dealing with customers.

Food and drinks are pret standard. However, 2h before closing time they close off the back of the seating area and toilets. So all people have to wait in queue for the one disabled toilet. Also, they start cleaning, mopping when still an hour to closing time and we are still drinking tea.

The beauty of Pret is that it is generally consistent. Brighton Pret is no exception. It's a busy branch, there is table seating but at busy times you can be crammed in. It's not the place for a relaxed coffee break as there is a constant stream of people. It is what it is!

Horrible customer service. The lady with short hair offer a disgusting customer service, as I understand she is tired of her job, but she should try and find a new job if she is unhappy. She is always with bad face, bad attitude and being arrogant.

I took one month free subscription hoping to continue..but I won't as in 3 weeks I had poor quality drinks (one is matcha latte and other one is oat latte)..tried different Barista's, different locations (Brighton) and not satisfied..approx I had 5 good drinks out of 20..shame as I tried the sandwiches or pastries and I like those...
