My fav place to brunch 😋 😍 Great food. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. They play great music too!

Came down with the family for a day off, and ended up at the breakfast club for lunch. We had an absolutely fantastic time, with great tunes, great service and brilliant pancakes - would highly recommend!

Always a friendly welcome here and the food is good! I took one star off as the coffee was quite bitter, this time I think it was maybe a bit burnt. Good music and atmosphere. It does get busy so book to avoid disappointment.

Absolutely disappointed. It's really annoying to pay 14 pounds for per person smashed avocado on dry bread (not even sourdough and very very not fresh) and one meaningless pouch egg on top that arrives 20 minutes later. No taste. This is not a portion of a breakfast and is not worth the money. Also, the orange juice that comes in a glass full of ice is not worth the money because there was no orange juice in it, just full ice. It doesn't make sense for a coffee to cost 4.50 It's just an illusion. It shouldn't be that easy to exploit people's feelings of having breakfast in the morning. Anyway it was a really bad day.

Stop by for breakfast, and its quite good. The coffee is great but the pancakes and french toast are quite standard. The ambience is very nice and all the waiters are amazingly friendly.

This was our first time coming here and we ordered a tap water, latte, veggie breakfast roll and avocado + extras on sourdough. The total came to 31.50 - tiny portions that didn’t reflect the price as both of us left quite hungry. £10 for some avocado and cheese in a small roll did feel a little insulting, especially as it tasted quite oily. My sourdough for £14 was only one slice of bread! When it came to paying the receipt was put upside down on the table and at the same time, the waitress handed over the card machine which we felt a little obliged to tap straight away. Only after paying did we get a chance to look at the receipt where we were charged a £3.50 service fee. We normally tip at restaurants, especially smaller/independent places but we didn’t feel the service deserved anything as the waiters weren’t very friendly/welcoming and we had to remind them we wanted tap water after they forgot to give it to us originally. In the end, we got up to get the tap water ourselves - which would’ve been okay if they’d told us to do so originally and didn’t expect a service fee for! Generally very disappointed which is sad because the menu looked lovely and the inside was quite nice.

Won’t go again as dojo app was wrong. Trash service if can’t get basic things like that correct. Update: it's actually somewhat incorrect. You can control the queue times on Dojo, as it's a service you have subscribed to. If the staff can't manage the app correctly, I would suggest removing the virtual queueing system and stick to a more standard system if it is too complex.

Good atmosphere, good food but very expensive for what it is and the portion sizes. Took 40 mins for food to Come out and bread was a bit tough too. But good coffee and still yummy.

Great breakfast. Recomended to book table online. We did not and had to wait fore more than hour.

Great experience at The Breakfast Club with big portion tasty food. Music was just a bit too loud but otherwise they are my kind of songs.

Everything was fantastic. Apart from the homeless using the toilets. Staff are lovely food was great. There are no signs on the toilets, whilst waiting to use a baby changing toilet that I was waiting for just under 15 minutes, people come and go to use the toilets but homeless use toilets to wash them selves or use taps to drink water. Obviously I witnessed this waiting for the one toilet that had baby changing facilities (no signs) as they left the door open while drinking water and washing them selves. Gave up waiting for baby change facilities and put my daughter on the floor under the stairs. Please note I have nothing against the homeless and completely understand why they are needing to use the toilets. However having a 9 month old baby that needed her nappy changing, makes you feel a tad angry.

The food was pretty good, but for the price I think there are much better spots in the area. The service was lovely, but food and coffee was overpriced for what you get.

This place gets very busy so book ahead. Lovely staff super friendly. Menu pretty much what you expect for a good brunch venue. Good feel to the place

My recent outing to the establishment provided me with a plethora of sensations. Let me take you back to when i first arrived. After a whimsical walk through the town of brighton, i stumbled upon a breakfast cafe. “PERFECT!” I thought as my belly grumbled with joy. Upon entering the doorway i was hit with what i can only describe as a punch in the face full of smells. Its took me back to a time in my life full of pain and discomfort. The smell of iron was so strong that if i closed my eyes i could hear the clinking of gym equipment in the vicinity. The smell of the basement toilet was something that cannot be laughed about. As i walked further down the steps it was as if i was entering a medieval street (a time where excrement was regularly thrown into the streets as plumbing wasn’t around). On returning to my table i looked down and was winked at by a piece of chorizo that had moulded itself into the floor, cheeky fella. I then asked to be moved outside where i was yet again pleased to see that the cleaning had not been done. The table looked like the interior wall of a local bin. Thankfully i had to wait 30 minutes for my meal to arrive so it allowed me to really soak up the scenes. The food was quite nice once it decided to come although the egg had clearly been sat in boiling water for half an hour so was tough as old boots. Even though the hygiene was atrocious and the food took as long to arrive as paint takes to dry, i didn't actually have an awful time however that was most likely due to my friends keeping me in high spirits. Overall i would rate my experience “poor-average” and would give it a flaccid 3/10. Probably wouldn't visit again however if every other restaurant in brighton was closed for the day, i might pop my head in.

Lovely spot in Brighton, gorgeous decor, cool music that goes with the look. Lovely food - massive portions and the staff cool and friendly. We had an Irish guy who was so friendly and seemed to really love his job which added to the ambience and vibe. Highly recommend.

Expensive and 40-minute wait for breakfast, several frustrated delivery drivers / take out customers obviously waiting a long time outside too. When it arrived it was o.k. Frustrated with "optional" 15% service charge: a) FIFTEEN PERCENT? This isn't america, and as for optional, the card reader was presented with it already added... had better in other cafes around Brighton...

Had a delightful time at The Breakfast Club, served by the lovely Rachel. Service was excellent, food came quickly and was delicious. Had an all round great time.

One of my all time favourite places to brunch in Brighton! Amazing food and lovely upbeat atmosphere 🥰 and we're always taken care of by the staff. Particular shout-out to Rach for being an absolute legend on my most recent visit! They were so welcoming and helpful, made our trip a real delight!

We had a great brunch there today! The food was delicious and the cosy atmosphere was made for a great meal. Rachel served us and she was exceptional—attentive and friendly. Her service truly elevated the experience. I’ll certainly be back for more!

Ordered some pancakes & coffee - had to wait an incredibly long time, the coffee was cold and the pancakes had a label in them that I ended up chewing... Not worth the time or money. Disgusting. Avoid.

This is a fabulous place for breakfast brunch. Only 3 for service as it was slow. But our waiter was great. Friendly and helpful. Really lovely food. Pancake meal. Thick. Warm. Bacon, scrambled eggs ,sausage. All well cooked and good portion size. Great coffee too. Nice atmosphere really buzzy.

Food itself wasn’t bad - although they got the order wrong. But the service was painfully slow - and this was a fairly empty Wednesday morning. Based on the service wouldn’t return

Friendly staff, very accommodating. The place has a great vibe. It was really busy on a Monday morning so I'm sure at the weekend it's even more hectic. The music is a little too loud and with all the people it's hard to have a conversation. The wait for our food was a little on the long side at 35 minutes but it was decent quality so no big deal. The menu is cool and varied with some delights like the French bread with chocolate dip. The fried breakfast 'full monty' is okay. Although for the size of the portions (1 sausage, 2 tiny strips of burnt to a crisp bacon and 1 hash brown) it's bit on the expensive side at £16.95. I love that the beans were homemade and not just from a can.

A really nice and courteous service. We had a great breakfast and would love to come back. Unreservedly recommended.

Been here many times but this time wasn't as great. The home style potatoes weren't as crispy as they once were and were over salted. The atmosphere was chaotic and it took me 10 mins just to be able to order. I get it's a Sunday and everyone is trying to go out for breakfast but with 2 extra members of staff and a good more amount of care in the food department, this place can really improve to what it once was.

Arrived and were told fully booked so book via QR code.. Did so only to be brought upstairs to an empty restaurant.. Which stayed so throughout our visit. We asked if we could be downstairs but the manager, who seemed very grumpy said.. Fully booked, yet we booked?? Breakfast arrived luke warm and waiter didn't seem like he wanted to be here. Plenty of better offers near by. Stay clear

Barely acceptable service (completely ignored following arrival of drinks), average food for above average prices, poor quality coffee. Unacceptable waiting time for food, 35-40 minutes. Uber eats, Deliveroo orders appear prioritised over in house customers. Had to chase our order. Plenty of excellent competition nearby more deserving of our custom.

Absolutely amazing. Literally everyone is so nice there and very welcoming. I went with my friends and had such a lovely time thanks to the beautiful staff. And the food was delicious. It's my new go-to. I love eating breakfast in the afternoons.

I wasn't too impressed there. It's a very hectic place. You have to wait in line before you are seated. It then took quite a long time for the service to come so that we could order. The prices are higher than in other restaurants. But the breakfast was good.

Nice place for an early morning breakfast. Friendly, helpful service.

Came in for breakfast but ended up having brunch instead. We ordered our food at 10:45 and only received it at 11:30. Honestly such a long wait for our food it was ridiculous. Even the wait for our juice and smoothie was more than 15 mins ? I noticed it was the same for everyone else in the restaurant also. After 11:30 i could see mine and everyone else’s food being served. I mean such a big delay for not that great service. I wouldn’t say it’s the cleanest place either. In the middle of eating, the waitress came over to ask if everything was okay with the food, as a spider made its way down from the light fixture and almost making its way into my food. She completely ignored this fact and walked away when we said the food was good, when she clearly saw what happened. Honestly disappointing and have received better service in Gatwick Breakfast Club. Again food is good, but definitely not worth all the waiting and below par service.

Amazing service, we booked the wrong day, however they were very accommodating, Sara was super amazing and very friendly especially with our daughter! Food was amazing and fresh! Kid friendly too.

We waited for AN HOUR to get our breakfast. The place was not full either. The food was OK. Stodgy bread for the toast though. Maybe they had problems that day, but we weren't advised of any problems.

Brunch with a mate after a tennis session- so was hungry. Service from the waiters/waitresses was brilliant, the food was well cooked and tasted good. Only slight negative was it took about 30 minutes to come out, but they were busy. Would come again!

Must visit and must try and very expensive. This restaurant has been on our list for Brighton and it didn’t disappoint. Couldn’t reserve the table, but got a table in 15mins. We have tried Pancakes with Berries and maple syrup and fried chicken rancheros. The strange combination worked really well. Coffee for some reason was served lukewarm and amber juice is very well made.

Very disappointed at the service we got at the restaurant today. We ordered a simple breakfast, and waited for more than 30 mins. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at all with I would 30% of the tables were occupied. The waiter was very rude. The waiter knew they had some delays in the kitchen, and she didn’t have the tendency to politely update us. We felt as if the waiter was avoiding to be available, she was avoiding any eye contact, we aren’t able to talk to her. All waiters kept running around the floor doing nothing and made it very difficult to talk to anyone one of them. I would never come back to this place again. Very bad service and atmosphere. Stay away. They aren’t worth a penny. They need to educate their workers on how to treat their customers.

Visited the Breakfast Club for lunch on Friday: the food was good, but the experience was disappointing. The restaurant was fairly empty yet our dishes took almost an hour to arrive. We would have appreciated if we were notified of the wait upon ordering if it was to be expected, or given an update if the order had been missed or forgotten, or provided an estimate of the wait time after the order was checked on. Unfortunately none of the above transpired except for a “sorry for the wait” right at the end.

Peter and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing!!! The vibe and atmosphere of this restaurant was awesome. The food was very very good and they have gluten free and vegan/ vegetarian options. Would highly recommend checking out this spot during your stay in Brighton!!!

(RUDE STAFF MEMBER ) I was extremely disappointed by the way my partner and I were treated by the staff at The Breakfast Club in Brighton. When we asked for a table, we were dismissed rudely by a certain member of staff, who single-handedly brought the reputation of the brand down to the ground in one encounter. The unprofessional behavior of the staff member left a lasting negative impression on us, and we left feeling disrespected and undervalued as customers. This experience has definitely made me think twice about returning to The Breakfast Club in the future.

We sat outside in the sun, and that might have helped how nice we found it! Either way, this is an excellent breakfast place in Brighton with a small but very tasty selection of food. I particularly enjoyed the huevos ranchero with chorizo, though there's vegan and vegetarian options. Not as many Vegan, but again, the menu isn't huge. Just good enough for a lazy Sunday morning. Special mention to the freshly pressed orange juice, all very reasonably priced.

I had a great time at the breakfast club, the food is always spot on and the staff are just lovely. The coffee is absolutely delicious, I had a Bloody Mary and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. There’s lots of options for veggies and vegans which is always appreciated!

Shocking and appalling, arrogant and obnoxious. Arrived this morning, was told to install a queue waiting application on my phone, while looking upon a restaurant which appeared to be only moderately full… yet every available space was reserved, for customers nowhere to be seen. The town was still quiet, neighbouring restaurants were still empty and I was told to go away and I would be called within around 30 minutes if a table became available as there was a waiting list ( no customers in sight) I’m sorry but this is absolutely unacceptable and no place that offered such poor service deserves my money. I was very happy to take my business elsewhere and i recommend people do the same. I already managed to persuade another couple not to wait, while I was leaving. It is quite simple, if you do not have a table, tell your customers, then inform them of the waiting time… no need for stupid waiting apps.. life is to short to waste on queue apps like that, you cannot replace good human service with inconvenient apps.

Absolute rubbish. Slow service, very expensive and when our breakfast finally arrived it was cold. We were offered water which also never arrived. Just don't bother.

Meal was absolutely to my taste as a lover of sweet/ salty combos. Very friendly atmosphere and many options I'd love to go back and try, if only I lived closer!

I love the Breakfast Club but this visit wasn't as lovely as usual. The restaurant is quite dark, we stayed at a booth at the back. And it took us over an hour to get food... Food seemed smaller portions than previous visits. Tasty anyway. I think there was some problem with the kitchen which made the whole hen do brunch quite disappointing. Nevertheless, 10/10 for the staff for their brilliant and understanding customer service. The Irish guy deserves the employee award - thank you very much for sorting things out and the huge discount to compensate for the wait.

A nice place to have breakfast and brunch in English and American style. It also has an interesting selection of sandwiches, pancakes and various drinks. I tried break #1, good, well made and the eggs were cooked just right. Compliments!

One of the best experiences I've had! I stuffer with food anxiety and I received absolutely no judgement from any of the staff! The atmosphere was perfect and the food tasted amazing!

Delicious food. We visited Brighton on the weekend so as expected we did have to wait a bit to get a table, but it was really handy as you scan a QR code and then enter the queue for table online. We then went for a walk around Brighton and got a notification to let us know the table was ready. We probably had to wait around 20/30 minutes for a table at peak brunch time which wasn't bad at all and the food is well worth the wait - the pancakes were absolutely delicious. It may be quieter if you're visiting on a weekday but I'm not sure. They were dog friendly and the staff we're super nice, very accommodating for anything we asked for and the menu is very fairly price for the quality. I highly recommend if you're looking for some good food in Brighton.

Honestly my favourite food place in Brighton so far! Their pancakes are incredible, all the staff were absolutely lovely and the overall vibe of the place was super nice. It's definitely not cheap, but the food is so good I can't even complain about the prices, and the portions are quite big so you're always full afterwords! I don't think there's a single bad thing I can say

We went the other morning for breakfast before going to work. The room is very large and well looked after. Welcoming staff who, even without a reservation, managed to seat us without problems. We tried two toasts with eggs, salmon and bacon, cappuccino and orange juice. All very good and generous portions. Advised!

Had the best Gluten free pancakes I’ve ever had. There’s loads to choose from and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Got my late brunch, it's satisfying. .nothing U can't complaint, it looks fair portions for my eyes but it's not for my Indonesian stomach. Unfortunately, I found that leave again, I think it was the coriander. I just don't like it. The place is easyyy to find the yellooow restaurant, and found the toilet was clean ! I do really appreciate that..keep it up 💪🏽

Went here with my little boy for brunch. Food was lovely. So glad we had booked a table as it was very busy. Staff were friendly from initial greeting at the door till the very end. Even though there was only 2 of us we were very kindly given a booth. I think our waiter was called John who was very attentive and kind. Highly recommend.
