Silvia was great and the desert was brilliant

The food was very good, we all agread on that. The King prawn tagliatelli is one of the best pasta dishes I have had. I want to thank Eva for her superb service. Very professional and friendly at the same time and she took exceptionally good care of us. It was a pleasere to be served by someone like her. We highly reccomend this restaurant.

We had a last moment booking for 8ppl at busy day it seems for the staff there but they accommodated us without any hustle. I believe Italian manager was so nice, and polite. She took up upstairs and sat in the separate area. We had to wait for someone to come for a drinks order or anything so after 10 minutes i had to go downstairs and ask if someone could serve us as we had only 1,5h. Manager came to us and she took whole our order. She was very nice, polite and we didn't felt at all that we unwanted or that she is rushed. Amazing person! Drinks arrived after another 10minutes abd after anither 15 food start coming. I felt stressed as i was taking my friends from India and Nepal for a few days in Brighton and we had few other attraction booked at this day. So I was a bit frustrated with the waiting time but when the food arrived it compensated everything. Food was amazing. Every single bite of pasta, pizza, any chicken or anything was absolutely amazing. For food and service (from manager) like this i dont mind to wait and be late for other booked things :) Thank you ;)

Very nice food and friendly staff but restaurant was absolutely freezing. Did think of sitting there with my coat on but didn’t think that was really the done thing when I am paying for a comfortable meal!

The kitchen had a bad day but the waiting staff were brilliant. We unfortunately had to send back 2 of the dishes twice, but the servers were very apologetic, never made us feel uncomfortable about doing so and put everything right. Everyone occasionally has a bad day, it's about how you react and the team at ASK were brilliant.

Took ages to be acknowledged after walking in the door. Took ages to clean a table and seat us (back and fourth for blue roll, sprays and cutlery etc). Seated in a tiny box room, separated in the corner of the restaurant. Pizza was burnt.

Shayan was fab, seated us so quickly and was super friendly. Food matched the great service, will be back!

Had take away for our work break. Alfie served us, the food came quick and piping hot. All very delicious. Thank you we will be back.

Visited Ask Italian in Brighton Lanes. Was welcomed and served by Libby. Very friendly girl, gave us complimentary homemade lemonade, took our order, served us and checked we were happy.

We ordered the Christmas three course meal which had a good variety of and came at a good price. Everything super tasty. A big shout out to Maddie who looked after us throughout our lunch.

Services was alright, staffs doing okey. Food was nothing special really.. small portions for the price. My carbonara I expected it was creamy enough and generous amount but it wasnt, asda carbonara was better, i really love food and i m honest on reviewing them but we have different tastes so. My husband’s lasagna was okey he said but its not a place to go back for it he said.. he enjoyed the twisted dough. My beef meatballs was , i think they just reheat it in the microwave pit a tomato sauce and melted cheese and done,. We both enjoyed the pudding.. brighton price for you, people are hungry so.

Bog standard food at best, with prices outweighing value for money. Our food order was taken promptly, and the dishes came out fairly quickly after (make of that what you will). The pizza I ordered was warm at best however. After we finished our mains, the plates remained stacked on the table for 15 minutes before the waitress (who walked passed repeatedly while seeing to others) took them away. A very underwhelming experience unfortunately; wouldn’t return or recommend. Sorry.

We had our staff christmas party here and it was great. The food was so good, the service was amazing - Taleah really looked after us! couldn’t fault anything. Really lovely atmosphere.

Dropped by Ask in Brighton for some lunch. Food was great, and Maddie who served us, was excellent. She was very friendly, attentive, and extremely accommodating, especially as we had our two toddlers with us. Thank you Maddie, you’re a star!

The staff make a big difference, make sure you look after them. This was the place I came for my fav Sunflower Tortelleni pasta of spinach and ricotta, pity. Portions are generous. Never a disappointment eating here. And then have brought back their classic salad Italian Dressing (yum) that they used to do in bottles. The quality of the salad has improved, no Little Gem lettuce anymore. I don't eat here to go cheap. Please no shrink inflation.

Tuvimos una mesa redonda encantadora junto a la ventana y disfrutamos mucho de la comida que se sirvió - cada plato era delicioso y servido por Maddelena que era excelente - atento pero no intrusivo. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Definitivamente volveré.

Excellent service and you will feel looked after. Few vegan options but enough to satisfy your craving for pasta and pizza. Frier was broken when we visited yesterday. Pizza could be slightly bigger for the price. Restaurant and toilet are clean and the staff are friendly.

Not impressed with food, the so called seafood pasta didn't have any mussels or clams in just the shells and the desert didn't have the doughnut it was meant to have,why serve it in the 1st place if you didn't have all the ingredients,they should have informed me and then i could have ordered something different,gave me a glass of house wine to compensate! Definitely not going there again!!!

Worse service I ever witnessed, you'll have better service tipping £1 on Onlyfans Problems: 1) They open late for no reason. I turned up on a Sunday at 11.40am and waited for 10mins for the doors to be opened (which goes against the time openings on Google and AskItalia website which I double checked prior to arriving). 2) Staff giving lip for no reason. When the door opened, I asked if they were open and they said they were but can't serve food until midday which again makes no sense according to the website. 3) Tastecard snobbery. I asked if I could use the Tastecard and again was given lip, was told I should phone and book a table ahead of time... Well if you opened at 11.30am per your website, I could have. Reluctantly he agreed. 4) Refused to be given free house lemonade shot possible because of the above or just treated like plebs. I was seated and never got given a free shot of the house lemonade as two glasses had not been set up. I witnessed they placed glasses on every table after I sat down and gave every other patron that was seated after a free shot, did not bother to come back to my table at all. Perhaps you should set up tables at the correct opening time or even before? 5) They won't bother coming to take your payment if they think you are a pleb. After the staff swiped my Tastecard, they did not bother coming back to take payment. Waited for 10mins and can only assume they thought I was not a high roller to warrant their time... In that part, they are right! Needless to say the above ruined the eating experience. If the manager can't even open a resturant on time, you should just shut this Brighton franchise. What hope is there if a joint can open/close willy-nilly at any unofficial time?! Save your money everyone, you'll get better satisfaction tipping £1 to creators on Onlyfans or probably even me. AskItalia Epsom is great, this place is awful. Onlyfan of being able to pay by QR code so I don't need to Tip and can leave this dump as soon as possible! All of the above gives the impression the manager only want "High Rollers" or "families with children" as customers.. I recommend NO Students, Gen Zs, Millennials, Influencers, Creators or Tourists eat here.

Visitamos dos veces durante nuestra estancia. La comida y el servicio fueron excepcionales en ambas ocasiones. Los precios también son muy buenos. Recomendamos los buñuelos de calabacín.

En el corazón de la ciudad en una casa antigua convertida. Menú encantador, un montón para elegir. La comida era genial. El personal era encantador y atento.

The Ask restaurant in Ship Street Brighton is in the centre of the city. There are some reasonably small dining rooms within the restaurant which can get noisy because the rooms have little software within them. There are friendly and helpful staff who offer an efficient service from beginning to end. The restaurant has very clean rooms, tables and chairs. The toilets too are immaculately clean. The orders were efficiently taken and delivery to the table was quite quick.

Just popped in for late lunch on 11th Sept with our daughter and baby grandson. Very welcoming & friendly service. Both waitresses very attentive. Food excellent. Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻

Nice cosy little place. Service was quick and polite. The food was good, just a shame it was served on cold plates. The pasta that touched the plate was freezing cold and that took the enjoyment out of my meal. Otherwise it would have been perfect.

We were all out for two of our friend's birthday celebrations. From the moment we walked in we were treated like VIP's! Prow and Sally could not have done more to make us feel welcomed. Instilling a professionalism, humour and the best service anyone could wish for. Between them, they did a fantastic job multi tasking. We never felt forgotten, and it's a sign of great customer service when the staff make you feel special, and that you're the only customer in the room (and it was busy!). Well done, Prow and Sally! It has instilled confidence again that maybe we do have a few in hospitality who know what they're doing and take pride in their job. Thank you, Carey

one of the chefs i think his name was jake made perhaps the best pizza i have ever had the joy of eating in my whole life, i would definitely recommend to everyone to visit specially this ask italian. brilliant staff and amazing food id honestly give six stars if i could.

My wife has just had the best gluten free pizza. My food was good, can't eat anymore, we'll waddle out.

love the lemonade shots that are guaranteed at any authentic italian restaurant. the food was so fresh and you could tell a lot of effort goes into quality control of ingredients and the final product that is served to customers. Very reasonable pricing on the pizzas and other dishes, and the interior is very lovely with a sliding door for fresh air and outdoor seating if preferred. would recommend 100%. An underwhelming meal. Ordered the linguini di mare which came with sad, tiny pieces of seafood. Our server seemed a bit uninterested. We were not served the aperitivo like neighboring guests.

Just ok pasta. I asked for vegetarian carbonara and was given a vegan version that didn’t have much flavor. Our server didn’t give us an aperitivo when I noticed he did give to others. Careful when you hand your credit card too. He took it upon himself to self tip and sign on my behalf.

Booked for a celebration meal for 16 people on Friday 9th August. We had a quiet area upstairs with a reserved table. The food was great and despite the large group size the service was amazing. All credit to our server Henry. Great example of good customer service and a credit to this team. Would definitely come again.

Ask Italian Restaurant in Brighton, Britain. There are indoor and outdoor seating and it has many branches in most British cities. It is considered an excellent choice for lovers of Italian cuisine. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.

Attentive, friendly service, generous portions, a good night out

We came here by mistake ,thinking that it was another restaurant I'd been to the previous week that boasts an impressive wood burning pizza oven. By the time I'd realised my mistake we'd ordered drinks and thought we'd give it a try. The staff were pleasant enough but there didn't seem to be any Italians in evidence. I ordered the fettuccine bolognaise. The portion wasn't very generous and the food was mediocre . It was the third Italian restaurant I'd visited during my three week stay in Worthing and I'm sorry to say that it didn't compare well!

They didn't have 2 dishes we wanted and failed to tell us when we was seated The butterfly pawn starter was OK but the toasted bread was stuck to the bottom of the plate it's cooked on so was hard to eat the chicken Lecca was good Our mains which was pizzas was over cooked alittle also and chips came late and we was half way though our mains when they finally showed up Only good point was the drinks where nice and cold and came in chilled glasses which helped cos the restaurant was really hot as it had no AC or fans
