Caffè Nero in Brighton and Hove

Have you guys met the barista called Kat? She is even more amazing than the coffee that was really delicious. Great customer service goes a long way.

The cappuccino was good, but the choice of desserts was excellent.

Horrendously understaffed and slow service

Dirty, the toilets were vile and had a fly infestation. We all felt unwell after we ate there too. My son was sick twice.

It is ok. Long queues and the tea isn't that good. I only come here with free vouchers, otherwise I would go elsewhere.

What a disgusting dirty shop 10am the floors was heavily stained with filth the glass food cabinet was full off old crumbs and you could just make out the cakes as the glass was covered in hand prints. That put me right off purchasing a cake I don’t think that had been cleaned in months. A trip to the loo well I didn’t even get there just full off grime it was appalling. I would never go back in there perhaps the staff should try cleaning instead of vaping and being on there phones.

My local coffee shop, not too busy in the morning. Great coffee, friendly staff. The pistachio cake is amazing.

There are lots of nicer places than here for drinks pricey for what it is

Quiet spot for a good coffee in the midst of busy town centre

Ordered a flat white and, to my surprise, there was some coffee waste in it...they dint clean the machines properly, if at all, as I got all residues.

I asked for my latte in a regular size cup, still willing to pay the full amount, and was told they can’t do that. Is this country becoming so remedial that coffee can’t be put into a smaller cup?

My sister and I got a Cappuccino and sat outside whilst waiting for our bus, which was handy. But we thought the drinks were quite bitter.

Nice spot right near the buses and rest of the shopping and walking areas in the centre of town, enough tables and chairs for a quiet time or a perch stool area for looking out over the street. Quick service if not too busy, always a favorite one in this location.

Looks more like a protest than a coffee shop. The free tap water had run out on the hottest day and they didn’t refill in an attempt to make people buy a bottle of water for £2.30. The glasses were also filthy, listeria waiting to happen!

Rude staff, toilets disgusting. Forgot part of our order too. Have been coming here for nearly 7 years and it's really gone down hill. Such a shame.

The only place in Brighton that always uses gluten free oat milk! As a person who can't have dairy or gluten I really really appreciate it :)

Very run-down branch of Nero. In desperate need of refurbishment. Not exactly a place to spend much time in. However, staff are very friendly and the coffee is as expected.

I mean, it is alright, decent coffee ☕️ but that place it definitely needs a makeover. My friends and I find the toilet downstairs a bit scarry to go to, dirty, no toilet roll, some weird people, and upstairs there's less places where to sit. Customer service, it depends on who's working there, but it is decent overall.

I have never been here. Just because you walk past somewhere it doesn't mean you visited.

Ok coffee and staff friendly but tables left uncleared for the entire time I was there. Whole place looked messy.

Pretty horrible visit, me and my partner came to get the new festive menu salted caramel brownie hot chocolate and wouldn’t plan to come back. When first asking for a small drink we were told by the lady serving us that they only do large, they could do small size but we would still be charged for a large. Than after choosing large drinks we waited, but once we received they only placed chocolate powder on the top, and none of the brownie pieces as in their photo. Same server said they had been discontinued, which if so Nero have not displayed this information on anything so I do feel they are just not admitting to have any in stock. When saying thank you the lady just snuffed as away which I felt was incredibly rude. Than the drink itself is just a let down, both me and my partner said it has very little taste of the salted caramel.

Very popular and trendy beautiful staff!!! Very comfy inside and perfectly situated in the heart of Churchill Square, I love the tiny dinky pots of Mac 'N' Cheese - truly scrumptious!!!

Typical Cafe Nero, great coffee and friendly staff. Also nice and clean. Just one note for people with mobility issues the toilet is down a narrow staircase.

Good coffee, if expensive, but no more than any other coffee chain.

Awful tasting, burnt coffee. In addition, I ordered it with oatmilk, but got one with normal milk. I have lactose intolerance.... Food was ok.

Really nice drink and croissant

Nice bar stool area for sitting in and views across towards Churchill Square, nice and warm in the sunshine while sitting outside or indoors in the bar stool area. Only could do with more toilets on the ground level not in the basement. However a great place to see and get a few views from.

The coffee is always lovely, but the single unisex toilet was filthy. They also have NO baby changing facilities.

Coffee was weak and tasteless, the staff were friendly, the toilets stank, it was also unbearably hot in there. I won't be going there again.

Went to Caffè Nero today, there were 2 members on staff working and the queue was building up, I could see that the girl was stressed, a customer in front of me ordered an iced flat white and was clearly getting impatient as the staff making the coffee dropped it everywhere and had to start again, then came to ky order - a chai latte with oat milk which was cold I may as well have got it iced. I think they need to have at least 3 members of staff if the other one is going to faff around with a Deliveroo order

The customer service was very nice but the coffee was way too hot, past the temperature where the milk should be.

Really inviting and lovely staff. I got the limited edition coffee but they stated if the flavour was terrible they would happily replace it. Perfectly made coffee as all cafe Nero have been. Overall clean and warm environment. Efficient and quick staff. Had a great time.

They sell drinks and food, I don't know why it is named after the fifth emperor of Rome who was notorious for his cruelty and debauchery. I found the venue to be rather nice and the staff very friendly.

Easy access as it is in the middle of the city centre good quality sweets affordable price and friendly staff. Should have more freshly baked cake and pastries choices though.
