Standard Pret branch but again it never disappoints me! Ample of space available on first floor and very clean and cooling. The toilets were absolutely clean too. Great job at maintaining the place so neat and tidy.

No iced chocolate? That's a major disappointment. A cold chocolate drink is exactly what I was craving.

Because Pret's concept is based exclusively on disposable cups and disposable packaging, the prices have become very high and unpleasant.

The disabled toilet was out of order for the third time I visited in 2 months . This is unacceptble: the other toilets are not accessible

A very large and comfortable cafe. Because you need a shopping receipt barcode to open the toilet door on the second floor, non-customers cannot use the toilet. The overall environment is much cleaner. The decoration is also very simple and bright. If you are tired of shopping, come in. It feels great to take a break with a cup of coffee. The staff is friendly and quick.

Like this cafe and come here often. Today not so happy with very soft fatty bacon in bacon roll.

Good food at a reasonable price

Good place to grab a coffee and snack.

Best cafe in the city center ever. The place is spacious, and the workers are energetic. Clair, a barista who seems like the boss in this cafe, controls all the things organized and works all the things promptly.

Very spacious place, plenty of room, behind the bar and upstairs. One of the best prets, clean, staff is quick, and laptop stations available. Only thing is that the tap water is been broken for months and nobody is fixing it, Feb 24. Chicken ceasar sandwich is my favorite and ham and cheddar cheese hot sandwich 😋

went in here today to buy drinks for the charity medical students outside in fancy dress . staff had their photos taken with us all and then kindly gave me some mince pies for the sad looking homeless pregnant girl also outside

Does what kt says aon the tin and fulfills the basic Pret A Manger Brand ideals. Food is in my opinion overpriced based mainly on presentation as opposed to content but it delivers ehat you expect.

Just wanted a normal coffee none of these other coffees it was awful it tasted bitter bloke who served me looked miserable staff where rushing around everywhere when trying to get my coffee to takeaway never go there again

Pretty has all kinds of scrumptious pastries, sandwiches and more! But what really sticks out about this particular location is the fact that it’s right next the Churchill square shopping centre ( a great place for shopping!) I personally recommend there hot chocolates:D

Disappointed…. Take a break with friend of mine @ 16:05 we been told in 5 minutes we have to leave that they close…. The shop program is until 17:00 . I will sure not go back there.

Hairs in food because nobody serving is wearing the correct gear. Also the frumpy old woman serving this morning has a stinking attitude. Blonde hair ponytail, 10am.

I have ordered a coffee which’s taste so bitter and milk smells the 5 berry bowl I used to have daily change in there big time and to worst. Where is old group and stuff they were the best what happened to pret if it’s going that path it won’t be long for pret to go down. That’s an advice and I miss my five berry bowl how it was.

I’ve been using the pret coffee subscription daily for almost 2 years and I’ve been impressed with every single visit to this branch. They can get out coffees in record times, have an extremely friendly team who give great service, and are overly generous and caring to their loyal customers 🩷 big love for this team and location

Time to update my review and increase the stars. Nice coffee, and relaxing atmosphere. Only negative is that you should have USB ports. Overall good experience.

Lovely place needs to be updated

Update from my previous review. Sadly - Pret you have gone from hero to zero. It’s not the individual stores fault but the overall decision to remove 3 or 4 vegan options and replace them with veggie or meat options, is a real shame. We used to spend far too much money with you every month and now we won’t spend any. We’ve lost the hot wrap options, several cold options and you’ve got one baguette, a veggie curry thing and a spicy soup. Not all vegans / Vegetarians want spicy. For a organisation that promotes its sustainability ethos to the customers all over the walls, these decisions do not reflect it. Time to spend our money elsewhere.

First time I got there, asked for an oat latte and got an absolutely flat coffee without any signs of froth and horrible taste. I returned, and was apologized by a different, polite lady who said it looks like it was a mistake, she made me a new coffee, which was frothy...next day went there again and asked for an oat latte again, and I got the same flat awful coffee again. Sorry guys, but you employ a bunch of amateurs...

Most busiest coffee shop in the town with very good organic food and coffee are available but the prices of coffee is not bad but sandwiches and wrap are little bit expensive

Such a shame, no more daily coffee and sandwich after work, cancelled my coffee subscription too. Train Station (used to close at 6 pm) and North St. now close at 5 pm and East St. closes at 5.30 pm. I get back to Brighton at 5 pm daily! Why shut the Train Station an hour earlier?

The food is nice here and there is a good choice of sandwiches. Reasonably priced. Unfortunately, it is nearly always horrendously busy so not a relaxing place to sit. Americano coffee was really good which was a surprise for a chain.

I have been a customer with Pret A Manger since 1997 visiting mostly the branches in London and York but more recently in Brighton. Sadly the customer service in Brighton leaves a lot to be desired. Today I came with my husband at 3.15. We bought our food and drinks to eat in and went upstairs. It was very packed and felt like an office, with people and students working on laptops- absolutely nothing wrong with that but the only free table for two was cramped and we felt we would be more suited to the comfier downstairs area. Although people were able to sit at the tables by the front door, the comfortable seating area towards the back was closed off. I asked if we could sit there as it was really packed upstairs (there were a couple of people sitting there already) and we were told it was closed as they would be closing at 5pm. This surprised me as it was only 3.15. I said this and explained that as we had paid to sit in, would it be possible to sit in comfort as there wasn’t enough seating upstairs and they said they could probably find us a couple of seats upstairs but refused to allow us to sit in the easily accessible seats downstairs. The lady proceeded to raise her voice saying they always close that area early as there isn’t enough staff so they need to get it ready for the end of the day. We ended up taking the only table available by the front door which was really cold due to the constant draft. My husband finds it difficult walking around as he had a stroke last year and after many years happily visiting Pret, I’m afraid to say the Brighton North Street branch really lets your company down. This is about the third time this kind of attitude has happened in this particular branch. Perhaps new signage should be put up so that customers that purchase after 3pm are aware that they won’t necessarily be sit in even if they have paid for that privilege. Very disappointing. The years of frequenting the Soho branches, they couldn’t do enough for their customers.

Good coffee and I love the porridge for breakfast. Would give 5 stars if they offered whole milk and not default to the semi-skimmed rubbish.

There are 3 Pret branches I visit regularly and this one has the best staff by far. They are so nice and friendly and I feel very much at home when I visit. The seating area downstairs at the back I find to be very relaxing.

Claire is probably the best barista in Brighton, thanks for the late coffee

Never take the mystery box here in the "to food to go" app. They only gave me soup. I wonder what they were thinking at that moment. I am outraged, terrible attitude to customers.😡😡😡😡😡😡

deserves 0 rating the lovely young girl that took my order was very pleasant the man making the coffee was horrible and rude because he made a mistake with my coffee less than o for service and the food has really gone down hill will not be going back

Had my favourite vegan avocado baguette and a cup of tea with a friend I've not seen for a few months

Todays lunch was not great, tomato soup? Or a tin of tomatoes with a bit of added flavour. As somebody who makes alot of soup it really wasn't up to standad lots of tomato skin and generally just lacking in texture and flavour. I managed most of it then i thought i had another tomato skin which turned out to be a thick black hair, i have red hair and my husband has much shorter hair so knew it wasn't ours. Made me feel quite ill after that. So disappointed :(

In Brighton there is only three branch, the staff are very friendly. it has nice atmosphere for work, study and joful reading. It would be wonderful if they can make the smoothly fresh by order and extend the time the open. They usual open to 5:00 PM, at it would be nice it would be 9:00 PM or 10:00PM

Four years ago...Comfortable seats, 50 pence coffee, with reusable cup. Lots of space Now, bloody horrible. Rubbish coffee, ripped seats, windows dirty and the toilets are a mess, disgraceful!

Went into pret on the 28/06/22 at 2pm and had an anxiety inducing moment where an angry employee shouted at my girlfriend for a mistake in the order concerning milk. We ordered a tea with soya milk and a chai latte with soya milk, we were informed by the person serving us that they were out of chai latte so we changed the order to just a latte with soya. A few seconds later our order was called out and a woman with short red hair gave us a latte, when we asked if it was soya as there was no sticker she shouted "you didn't say that, you didn't order that I heard you order" in a loud and agressive tone. We would have asked to talk to the manager but my girlfriend was too upset and anxious, also taking a look the rude employee happened to be the manager on shift but we're not sure. I am very disappointed in the customer service and how this caused a lot of stress... when you make a mistake you never blame a customer for your own mistake

I have been a regular visitor since late November 2021, having decided to get a subscription. I'd like to point out two amazing staff members who are very well mannered and are always providing great customer service even when having to deal under a great amount of stress. Claire is an astonishing Barista, perfecting my beverages and bringing them to me with politeness and, on top, a positive attitude. I feel very welcome as a customer. Dave's practical work and knowledge of Pret A Manger has been super helpful. He gets to know his customers very well, quite often knowing what regular visitors would like, which is astounding, especially in times of busyness. I'd like to give thanks for their hard work and dedication.

Lovely recently expanded coffee and sandwich restaurant, with comfortable seating.

Even paying for an exorbitant 'eat-in' option doesn't guarantee you a seat or table. The trick is for students to buy a bottle of water and then make it last, meanwhile hogging a table and seat(s) for the day. Complaints to the staff or management does not result in finding seats for bona-fide customers looking for a seat.

Coffee is good. Shop design and colour scheme is quite bad. Music is absolutely abhorrent. Beware if you sit in this store there are ALWAYS little fruit flies flying around they will get you eventually. This needs to be sorted out. Guy who served me at the till didn’t make eye contact, just kinda next please vibe.

Prefer more seating downstairs but lovely food.

This is very recently refurbished and there is a load of comfortable seating and new loos. It's really nice here. I use my own cup and that means I get a filter coffee for 49 pence. Very good! I go in here a lot. Best porridge around! Good sandwiches and good vegetarian selection. Recommended. ETA the loos are awful

After visiting several Pret stores this one is the worst. When you ask for frappe with cream they only provide without cream and that too pre made drink and several other hot drinks are made inappropriately. I wonder how they can run a store without cream for weeks. Hot chocolate tastes worst and worst everytime

I don’t recommend Hot chocolat but there is an interesting affair : 20 pounds each mouth on « prêt » (Google) and you have 5 free drinks every day

Love Pret but after being here for an hour today there was absolutely no cleaning of any of the tables at all. We sat downstairs at the back. Tables were filthy and I took the sprays and serviettes to clean ours. A young guy took cups etc from the tables but that was it. One person behind the bar had no mask. It was generally a more chaotic experience.

Very bad. The attitude of a particular staff member who seemed foreign but I was told his name was Dave?! Was very bad. I asked for a chai latte and I was told abruptly ‘we dont have!!’ instead of I’m sorry they are unavailable today. Some of the female staff members’ english is so poor they can’t phrase sentences to customers. Avoid. The Brighton station one is friendlier

Thank you Pret for retaining one muzak free space upstairs. Pret often bombards you with unwanted muzak but long may the peace reign on the first floor for those with work or other matters which need relative peace and quiet. It's at a premium in commercial public spaces these days.

Great place, especially with free coffees. Make sure you use the pret subscription, as I'm sure the company will realise soon that it's too good an offer

The food was great however the staff seemed rude and impatient I'm not if this a one time thing but I'm very disappointed.

Pret is always consistently good value and today was no exception Really quick service at till Croissants fresh and flaky porridge delicious with honey and compote 😋 served with tasty mocha
