I fancied a McDonalds as they are doing some good specials at the moment but the drive thru queue at Mill Pond was snaking all the way back to the road!
"Never mind" I thought "I'll go to KFC as there won't be a queue"
3-4 minutes later I was at KFC, no queue at all, I drove through and got a Zinger Burger meal for £7.50 or thereabouts and therein lies my point.
What do you get for that? Lazily put together, chicken, lettuce, mayo in a bun - that's it! The same stuff they've been selling for YEARS. Yes, I know you have to keep favourites, but there's absolutely no innovation at this chain. They're even doing exactly the same "stuffing" burger as they did last Christmas!
That's why it's dead and McDonalds thrives, because the latter are constantly offering new and different things in the menu, whereas the KFC menu is so dull and unimaginative - and they're pretty much pound for pound the same cost experience.
Ordered 3 dishes from here (never tried this place before).
Kung Po Chicken, Chicken Curry and Sweet and Sour Chicken (yes, we like chicken!)
Firstly this is the weirdest looking (obviously processed) chicken I have ever come across. They look like a cross between chips and crabsticks in shape - rectangular pieces!!!
I tried the Kung Po first. It's not that the flavour is bad, it's just the texture of that "chicken" is ghastly, it's like compressed and totally unappetising.
Couldn't finish it though, didn't feel like I was eating chicken meat. The sweet and sour will get binned and the chicken curry dish had a watery sauce and that weird chip-shaped chicken again!
I thought the worst Chinese locally was Amoy in Great Hollands but Hot Wok takes the Crap Crown 👑!
Will stick to Dragon House (Birch Hill) and The Great Wall (Harmans Water) in future.
Travelled 200 miles with 2 hungry children and thought could rely on McDonald’s!
Arrived at 7pm restaurant was mostly closed off so limited tables , tables absolutely filthy- one lady cleaning duties but was wandering around like she was on some kind of go slow drug even had eyes closed ?! Literally had 8 tables to clean and couldn’t be arsed.
In end I got some wipes and used the McDonald’s hand gel to clean our table.

The pizza is not good. Over cheese. The pizza is loaded with over cheese. Not at all good. We ordered veggie volcano and veggi extreme and we are extremely with horrible tasting tasteless pizza from dominoes bracknell Birchington.
I just had the worst time with this place I will never order from this company again I just worked a 14 hr job and got off the people had me pay twice on the phone for an order then told me that my payment was successfully tranferd and then the woman on the phone said my transaction was unsuccessful i watch my bank account get 40+ removed from my account and they then tranferd my call to a local dominos and decided to put me on hold to evoid the issue that I was having my family doesn't need to rely on our once favorite pizza service and we will not be takin advantage of again by this neglect people I will not be robbed by this company il wait for the 24-48 hrs to receive my money back if not by then I will contact the proper authorities. What has happened to M&S. Never had such a bad experience in any shop. The Manager of the Bracknell store Laura was so rude. Interrupting when I tried to make my point and so condescending in her attitude. They've lost this customer.
Terrible, sent my food with no main, took 45 minutes for the main to be sent, when it finally arrived it was freezing cold, then failed to send another for another 50 minutes, server was rude on the phone.
Couldn’t say the best burger ever had but wanted to give it a try.

Bacon cheeseburger good - chose not to overload to minimise mess. Bun held together.
Fries tasty.
Soda refill fine too.
Restaurant had door open so not particularly warm inside. Loos were fine.
Worth a try but could not afford very often.

I recently visited the Pizza Hut restaurant earlier this afternoon with my sister, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. As soon as we entered, we noticed that the restaurant was mostly empty, with only a few customers seated. We chose a table slightly away from the entrance, near the kitchen and counter area. However, just as we were about to sit down, a staff member approached us and rudely told us not to sit there.
He claimed that another staff member had been waving at us to indicate the table was unavailable, but we hadn’t seen him. He then stated, “Now he is mad at you,” while another man gave us a rude look. The explanation given was that the table hadn’t been sanitized after the previous customer left, although the seat looked just as clean as the other empty seats, with nothing visibly dirty. We assured him that we didn’t mind, but he didn’t listen and continued speaking to us in a condescending manner, questioning whether it was our first time at the restaurant and if we had eaten there before. His tone and attitude were far from friendly or professional.
Feeling unwelcome and insulted, we decided to leave. Neither of the staff members made any attempt to clarify the situation or address our concerns; instead, they simply watched us leave and then returned to the kitchen as soon as we stepped outside.
This experience was deeply disappointing and left us feeling disrespected. We still can't understand why the staff behaved this way. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously, and that future customers are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve, regardless of their appearance or any other factors.
Not a great Starbucks at all.
Went to get a drink on the morning (27th Feb). Two female staff behind counter.
The one who was at the till did not say anything, just moodily stared at me as I ordered, even after I attempted to slightly engage.
She then continued her conversation with the other member of staff who was making the drink.
Once drink was made, the person who made it also gave no eye contact, no acknowledgment and just placed drink on the side and continued her convo with her work colleague.
These two are examples of people who should not be in customer facing roles. They have no awareness of anyone other than themselves Ane should probably reconsider their career choices.
Customer facing roles, particularly in a place serving coffee is simple, straight forward and does not require a huge amount of effort to engage.
Having looked over the previous reviews for this establishment, I can see a consistent pattern of terrible customer service and I seriously think Starbucks needs to consider the management of this place. This type of behaviour is bred from the top down and it appears these staff have no incentive to provide even the basic levels of customer service.
The drink itself was standard, so the one star for that.
We used to look forward to a light lunch and a coffee at M and S Meadows. Personal service, quick and pleasant. Got to see what was on offer and enjoyed the experience. Not anymore. The staff were brilliant but overwhelmed. Tables too close and selection via screens no thank you. M and S what are you thinking? Got a bag of crisps after a wait of about fifteen minutes followed by endless delay ala until outrlunch arrived.
