Serving larger in ale pint glasses with no widgets is the worst. No one in this day and age ever wants to drink a lager that looks flat and tastes flat. You can do better than that. Breweries don’t charge for pint glasses like you keep telling your customers
Very disappointed went for bottomless brunch upgraded to the cocktails they were so syrupy not well made at all I honestly can't say I liked any of them the food was bland and undercooked not worth the money at all such a shame if your thinking of going for the bottomless I wouldn't bother not worth the money
Called earlier in the day for a last minute booking which they had no issue getting us a table for later in the day as we could book online.
Arrived on time and saw that it was not busy plenty of staff as well so I thought there would not be an issue. 2 staff member behind the bar yet we waited nearly 5 minutes to be sat down. When sat down the staff member explained what to do and how to order. However, I wish they had given us a bit more information on the meal deals that were there. 2 minutes later we had another staff member came upto are table asking if everything was ok. Which fair enough it was great but at the same time it wasn’t really needed as we had just been spoken to by another staff member.
Ordering online was very confusing and a little bit confusing as when looking at the different meal deals it was constantly asking if we wanted to upgrade after every time we pressed to add something. We had 2 pizzas both very nice piping hot and came as we had asked it. One staff member came upto us when we had stopped eating asking if we would like a pizza box to take them away. They gave us 2 small boxes which confused me as wouldn’t it be easier just to give a large box. I also wish they had come to check on us throughout the meal to check if everything was ok.
The one thing that really puts me off is the dude above our table shall we say was disgusting. We were sat underneath a cage type thing as shall we say I’m very surprised we had none fall into the floor. When I saw this it actually made me feel abit off putting. When seeing this I then put my finger on the square light above us and shall we say it was thick with dust.
The salad bar was very tidy clean and tidy with plenty of the salad options and no cross contamination in any of them as other pizza huts I have been to have had different salads in different parts. For example bacon bits in the coleslaw and carrots in tomato’s.
Altogether I would recommend others to come here but I really feel there is some improvements in certain area.
Yes to be a good pub when it was the half way house.
Very poor food cold jacket no side salad.
Ham egg and chips was egg bacon and chips , eggs fried in the bacon pan
The service was superb
The chef on duty on Saturday 8 April 2023 in the morning blew our minds with his excellent customer where he had to come to our table and ask us how we wanted our food to cooked.
That was a world class service!!
Waited over half an hour for our food to find out the staff deleted our order so we were never going to get it. McTerrible. Just wanted my dinner after a hard day at work for my boyfriend he really wanted his cheeseburger and fries but half an hour was just too long.
Best team work, all staff are polite and do listen what you say, there is nothing to talk about food restaurant been there over 25 years and best cook with they established business and ingredients!
1 George Williams Way, Kennington, Ashford TN24 9RZ, United Kingdom, England
This place has gone downhill, prices up quality gone down, the the food was dry, prawn curry, more like carrot & onion curry, maybe this was& off night, but won't be using again
Regular Pret goer in London. Bought a coffee and pain au raisin at Ashford outlet. Pain au raisin tasted of bleach/oven cleaner so left it after two mouthfuls and took it back to counter. They offered to replace but didn’t fancy trying again.Even the coffee didn’t get rid of the taste. Will use Costa next visit.
My wife is a big KFC fan, whilst I am very much indifferent to it, whilst being largely scathing about the sort of people that go to KFC.
However, my wife convinced me that we should have KFC in our hotel room once our daughter was asleep, and as she agreed to run across Eureka Way to go and collect it, I reluctantly acquiesced.
We had the larger pieces of chicken and some popcorn chicken, plus some creamy mash (we got two portions instead of the one that we paid for, so that was a bonus) and gravy.
To my eternal surprise, it was actually really nice! Maybe my tiredness and hunger blurred my judgement, or maybe I have been wrong about KFC for all this time.
The chicken was really good, the coating was tasty, the mash was very good, and the gravy was an inspired addition.
It was so enjoyable that I might even be convinced to have it again - though it will be a cold day in Hell before I step foot in one of their actual stores.
