KFC in Ashford

My wife is a big KFC fan, whilst I am very much indifferent to it, whilst being largely scathing about the sort of people that go to KFC. However, my wife convinced me that we should have KFC in our hotel room once our daughter was asleep, and as she agreed to run across Eureka Way to go and collect it, I reluctantly acquiesced. We had the larger pieces of chicken and some popcorn chicken, plus some creamy mash (we got two portions instead of the one that we paid for, so that was a bonus) and gravy. To my eternal surprise, it was actually really nice! Maybe my tiredness and hunger blurred my judgement, or maybe I have been wrong about KFC for all this time. The chicken was really good, the coating was tasty, the mash was very good, and the gravy was an inspired addition. It was so enjoyable that I might even be convinced to have it again - though it will be a cold day in Hell before I step foot in one of their actual stores.

So I ordered a party bucket from Eureka park Ashford, as we was eating through the bucket we found that a couple off piece off chicken weren’t even cooked proper disgusting. When I phoned the restaurant they were dismissive about the situation and then hung up the phone poor customer service and bad food will never go again.

When you order they give you what they want you to eat. Not what you want, order or pay for….. Every time I Oder a bucket I check it because there’s missing food or the wrong food. they just fill it with soggy wings and thighs and when you say something they go mad and start arguing you telling you it what you ordered. The lady that does the buckets needs to be sacked. She touch’s the chicken with her hands. No gloves, hair net. When I was complaining she was behind the managers back laughing and making faces for a reaction. Instead of sorting the issue she said I’m not changing it. Was willing to Chuck it in the bin…. Well when I chucked the bag back up on the window she said now we can’t put it back so meaning after the food being in my car for five minutes they was gonna give it to someone else. As I was about to pull off she said bitch. I said to the manager I will see her one day out side of kfc one day and he said yer she will see you too don’t worry. Just looking at the reviews shows I’m not the only person that has made the complaint. There seems to be an issue with management and staff. I would recommend that their unprofessional rude staff giving training on how to treat and respect others. Food handling. To the manger… you no who you are… the threat you made about ripping me out of my car when you see me you are an idiot /child and I would love to see the day.

Sadly not great. Chicken is good but fairly salty. The gravy which looks appetising on the tv was so salty that it had no flavour, I couldn’t eat it. Fast food is what it is - but this wasn’t edible with the gravy.
