The best restaurants in Ashford South East

Got a takeaway for 5 of us. All cooked fresh and was still lovely and hot by the time I got home. Lovely fish and chips and curry sauce.

Terrible service. 1 classic hot chocolate with cream, 2 lattes and 3 cold mince pies. Shouldn't be too hard. The barista (slightly overstating the job title here) made the hot chocolate first, added the cream and then sat it on the side whilst getting and opening the milk for the coffee....by which time the cream had melted into the hot chocolate. I asked for the cream to be added when the coffee was ready, expecting them to pour it away and start again, doing it properly. No, more cream was added to the original drink, left to melt again, 45pence worth (8) mini marshmallows added, all the melted cream poured down the side of the mug, then it was put onto the tray. 2 coffees followed and I was asked if I wanted the mince pies warmed up. "No thank you". They turned around and started serving the next customer. I asked for my mince pies and was told they were in the microwave. "But I didn't want them warm" I said. So they got them out of the microwave, dumped them on my tray "they're not too hot". "Errrm no, I wanted them cold". Hence more slamming things around and 3 cold mince pies came our way. Along with a hot chocolate swimming with 2 lots of completely melted cream and not even an apology. £20! Wow, train the Saturday staff please.

Do yourself a favour - think twice before you eat there. I went with a friend. The chips tasted and looked like they had been cooked in oil earlier in the day and re-heated in a microwave so they were soggy and tasteless and not a lot of effort put into presentation on the whole the food was substandard. The furniture wasn't the best. The chairs needed re-padding and given a good clean. The female staff were polite and helpful. Probably the only positive thing about our visit to the café.

me and my partner came here for lunch in November. it was a pleasant atmosphere, except for the staff and prices!!! the sausage roll was 8 pounds and was raw and small. the staff member, negrah i think her name was, was very rude and called me a old hag and my husband a terrorist. I couldn't of been more appalled, i waited 35 minutes for one sausage roll and could smell all the staff sharing a joint out the back. my soon to be husband (jokingly) said he would give a 1 star review and the employee said of course you would you terrorist (he is a Indian Muslim)

rang them up and a random women answered, also payed £31 for large popcorn chicken and 4 fillets and gravy such a scam mate dont ever buy and it came so cold

I order the food today and we wait 2 h my kids was hungry And when i call them there say call just eat I just cancel the order as dont wanna wait another 2 hours. The most rubish servis and deliverys

The food here is delicious, best Chinese in Ashford and the staff are so lovely. When I cannot eat other food I can always manage theirs:) sooooo good! Chicken Chow Mein is the best I've had.

Used to be much better, but now overpriced and mediocre food. Ordered their burger special at £11. Got a soggy beef burger in an untoasted bun. No sauce, no salad, no butter, nothing! They have a small kids play area with precisely 5 toys and a broken TV in it.... Nice idea, but cutting corners while increasing prices will lose you customers

The drink was separate from the food. Well done. Delivery driver very polite.

Don’t even bother trying to contact customer service if you had an issue with your order. After all the beaurocracy the back forth of emails and uploading pictures of receipts we were told we checked the cameras and nothing was wrong. I wonder how on the recordings they could see if they got the specific sides that I requested to in the Burger ?!

This is not merely pub grub - it is an excellent restaurant, serving superb food in generous quantities at very moderate prices. we had moules mariniere and sea bass, both were perfect.

I went in there yesterday middle of the afternoon. Very quiet with people playing pool and watching the sport on TV. There is no real ale here, but the bar staff were terrific. A top dollar bar maid.

Visited for lunch mid week; the place was fairly quiet, choice of tables inside or out. Friendly staff, tasty food, although it did take a little while to arrive

Ordered chicken rogan josh, no spice to it, supposedly tomato curry with roasted spices, and a chilli kick, more like smart price curry sauce, I've had ice cubes that have been Hotter? Don't waste your money, Can't wait till i get my samsung z6 flip, Has A I(Artificial intelligence) which has a translator, Breaks down the commutation barrier.

Yesterday, I went to the shop to try it out for the first time, and the staff were really great and friendly. But the food? Oh man, it was horrible. I'm from London, and I've been to Morley's, Favourite Chicken, and Chicken Cottage—all of them serve lovely BBQ ribs and hot wings with chips. But this KING >>>AKSHNA FRIED CHICKEN<<< was just bad. The taste was off, really nasty, and the prices were salty. The wings weren't fresh, and the ribs were not on the bone like normal BBQ ribs. There was way too much FAT on the ribs without any bone, making it fatty and not meaty at all. The BBQ sauce was poor too. Never again! Take my advice and stay away. The chips were way too crispy. Look, I'm not a fussy eater, but this place was just crazy bad. The food wasn’t good or right.
