The food was really nice, the portion of fries was massive

1st visit to a Five Guys yesterday at Ashford Designer Outlet in Ashford Kent. Well to my absolute horror you don't do hot drinks? It was freezing yesterday and wanted a hot coffee or tea and all you do is cold drinks?? That is madness in my opinion. The food was great but I can't overlook the fact of no hot drinks and in the middle of Winter at a outdoor shopping complex it would made sense to have hot drinks. The food comes in a bag and no plate which I thought was a strange way of doing things too. But who doesn't offer hot drinks especially with the Great British weather. Had a Cheese Dog and fries. But the menu is a sparse to say the very least. I have had to give three stars. Maybe if was to add hot drinks and more items on the menu it would be a start. No menus on tables so had to stand there looking at the board when being disabled all I wanted and needed to do was to sit down. The food was nice but you have got to offer more variety especially if want to see us return

Only good thing going is the mayo, fires portion size and a free refill. Burger for a tenner that was not even up to McDonald's standards. Bacon was hard to bite.

Turfed out of Five Guys with a small Yorkie in a bag - offered to sit outside on a cold January day. Not great for an establishment in an officially dog friendly outlet!

Food you will enjoy, it is mostly self service but you will find helpful staff at this super busy place..

What a rip off, high prices, chips were awful. 1st and last time of wasting money on this rubbish. 2 small cheeseburgers 1 medium chips to share and 1 milkshake came to £27.10

Ok. I was hesitating to go to Five guys due to high prices for every single item since last year. Among 4 major brands across the outlet yard I had no much choice and had to go to this branch 2 stars - because my cheeseburger was flavoursome but the way it was organised - meat patties on top all veggies causes this bloody tower to fall apart , patties hit my nose and the whole mouth and my chin was in sauces and vegetables so I didn’t know how to finish this burger as it went apart , almost… Middle patty almost attacked me when I pressed the burger to hold it together. The dark green jalapeños is big NO. Weird colour The strawberry shake was very good tho. And Cajun fries. Well almost like the shop was running out of it it was so little on them And the staff in the kitchen area should have a bit more smiley faces The one who took the order and charged me 20.05 £ was very friendly but this can’t cover the above issues Experience date: 12/01/25 @ 2:10pm

Ella was an amazing asset to the company nothing but so kind and helpful if you’re lucky enough to meet her please look after her, she’s genuinely an amazing lovely, caring individual and I can’t thank her enough for going that extra mile with her amazing customer service!! Fast service, clean places and pleasant staff despite the crowds

Had a rather disappointing experience with Just Eat Fortunately the managers at 5 Guys were superb in their response Brilliant burgers, excellent chips and my all time favourite peanut butter milkshake Thank you for being so brilliant

Sooooo expensive! £34 for 2 burgers 1 portion of chips and a milkshake at 11am is abit much! Burgers were nice but didn't appreciate them falling apart every time we picked them up. The chips were nice but the milkshake was so thick it was impossible to drink through a paper straw. I know it's about helping the environment but surely we can get recyclable straws

I love Five Guys. Food was consistent and tasty like it is across the chain. I can never give Five Guys 5 stars though just because it's so expensive. Although it's tasty food, it's still fast food and the price is never justifiable. It's a very rare treat for us just because it's so expensive. Special mention for the milkshakes! I love their milkshakes, they're delicious. I think the chain could maybe consider offering a kids menu and some child friendly options. Paying full price for items that kids are not going to finish is quite frustrating. Even so, plenty of seating here, quick and efficient, good Five Guys experience. Recommend it.

One of the best burgers in town. Just a little bit pricey

The veggie burger is awful. In 2024, you would think you would be able to improve on taste quality. The grilled cheese burger was tastier. So was the chips and the milkshake.

First time I've eaten in five guys, not sure why I've waited so long, it was the best burger I've ever had. Service was really good, fry portion massive!! It is expensive but honestly worth the price. Only gripe was no toilets

Five guys has many branches, burgers and hotdogs. You can choose your topping. The burger meat is soft and delicious. It is also recommended to eat it with bacon. Milk shake is good, the taste is not too sweet. #TravellingAsACouple

Omg I can't believe what happened to day in this store. I notice after eating my burger that there was a fly infestation. I spoke to sombody about it he just said ya we know . Which was not what I was expecting As everyone knows flies Vomit on food before they eat it. The told me the don't have a toilet which was a lie as I used it and omg there was so many flies in it . I will not be going to five guys ever again . Very sad loyal customer until now .

Umm not as pleased as last time I visited !!

Sat outside on a lovely sunny Friday lunchtime, and the food was awesome! I had never been to one of their restaurants before and was impressed with the quality of the food. Staff were really helpful and advised that one medium fries would be enough for the 2 of us. He was not wrong! So many fries and great quality burger meant we couldn't even finish them. Lovely place which we will return to. Well worth the cost.

It was absolutely overpriced £20 for a hotdog fries and drink …. Fries were cold and very salty , it was absolutely awful I really do not rate it at all overpriced processed food

Great... for a fast food chain, but the cheeseburger was just yummy!

2 of the 4 burgers we ordered were not hot enough, as a result the cheese didn’t melt properly. The manager (the black t-shirt and black cap) fixed it straight away, the attitude that this guy had was extremely professional. Sunday evening 8th June

As far as fast food goes 5 Guys is one of the nicest out there however it is also the most expensive burger / chips fast food. The majority of staff were friendly & welcoming, one or two not so much, the place was tidy & clean however on our last visit one half of the restaurant did smell abit of sewage which was not particularly pleasant as it was the side you had to use to get drinks, however I have been here before & it's been perfectly fine so I'm sure this would only be a temporary issue hopefully rectified quickly.

Nothing beats Five guys burgers, Cajun fries and their milkshake. Best fast food chain for the above items. Quality is just outstanding. This time tried the new Mango plus banana milkshake, it was like ice cream, just wow 🤤. The only complaint about Five guys is the price, paid over 50£ for 2 cheese burgers, a little burger, grilled cheese sandwich, fries and 2 milkshakes. Very expensive

Burgers burnt and dry, soggy buns fries way to salty, and ended up ill after eating they food, not toilets either, not good when you have someone pregnant with you.

My first visit to Five Guys and having heard so many positive stories maybe I expected too much? The burgers were very good and although felt a little on the expensive side at £10.35, to be fair, all the toppings are free. Definitely ordered too many chips with a large portion £6.15 and will downsize next time. The service area felt frantic although there was a wait whilst the burgers cooked and everything was served in a large paper bag with many chips missing the cup holder and loose in the bottom of the bag.

Probably one of the best burgers you can get. Yes it looks a little pricey, but it is worth it. Fries are also very good. You will not be disappointed!

Deeply disappointed, lots of hype around Five Guys, the reality on this, our FIRST visit didn't match that at all. The ries were mostly blackened and the 4 portions basically chucked in the bag for takeaway. The burgers were bland, although relish and sauces ordered, hardly any put on them, the tomatoes here pale and hard, not edible at all. Overall for 4 meals and spending over £60 was very, very disappointed

Burgers were cooked just right and we enjoyed our lunch. The Pistachio milkshake was great along with the Cajun Fries.

My first ever order from Five guys through "Just Eat" was looking forward to trying their burgers. I ordered Burger with fries and a milkshake I ONLY RECEIVED THE MILKSHAKE! Just eat are refunding the burger and fries but I still paid a £1.99 service charge so my Milkshake cost me a ridiculous almost £8.00 They knew there should of been food because their minimum order value is £12 so if they couldn't fulfill the order they should of just cancelled the order and issued a full refund.

Not your normal burger joint. Burgers are made individually and customised to what you want. Standard burger is just two meat patties in a bun, you choose anything that gets added. Fries are usually very plentiful but on my last visit I thought they were somewhat lacking. Soft drinks are expensive at £4.25 but you get unlimited free refills. Burgers are not cheap but are delicious.

1st time at 5 guys, staff were really friendly and helpful, the burger was okay, but £38 for 2 burgers, one portion of Fries and 2 milkshakes is very expensive

Absolute rip off! £85 for 5 people to have the equivalent of a macdonalds value meal. I could not believe the price! The burgers were reasonably good but the chips were just like ones I could make at home, chopping potatoes up, dripping oil over them and putting them in the oven. Drinks wise we just has plain old coca cola. Probably costs 5 guys 5 pence a cup. Staff were not impolite but did make a mistake on the order which took time to rectify. The decor and atmosphere of the place is functional and relatively clean but, personally I found plainly boring. Macdonalds would have cost under half the amount, tasted better, with better decor and better service. Sorry Five Guys, at those ridiculous prices, I will not coming back any time soon.

Very good, very expensive for 2 burgers snd a 2 milk shakes - no fries- £28. That's insane amount of money. However I would go again

I did not know what the hype is about. Nothing special...Just an over priced burger place...Nothing bad but nothing special either.

The food was good but you guys really need to take better care of cleanliness. All the tables had grease all over them. Wiping down a table top is not the same as cleaning it. The floors were slimy too. Felt like it was from too much soap on the apparatus used to clean them, which left the floor extremely slippery and dangerous. Didn't feel like a nice environment to eat a meal in.

Overpriced and poor quality food, buns were soggy, cheese sandwich was nothing more than a slice of cheese in a burger bun, burgers were tasteless. This was my second visit and will be my last! Only reason to eat there is lack of choice!

The food looked fresh and was nice. Jalapenos were forgotten from one meal even though it was written in there but it was not too much of a problem. It is rather expensive at £59.60 for 2 cheese and bacon burgers, 1 cheese burger, one cheese and bacon hotdog, one large fries and 3 fizzy refills.

I'd normally give 5 stars we love a 5 guys! But this one was a let down! Our burgers where cold and to be honest tasteless! I'm a massive fan but this one let it down today! £20 per person and a cold burger! We would of complained but couldn't find anyone who would help

Great food, helpful staff. Jumped to help when I thought I left my phone. Well worth checking out if you fancy a beer and burger. I especially liked being able to pick my own toppings!

Great food at a reasonable price and never have to wait for too long. This is our restaurant of choice when shopping at the designer outlet. Unlimited free refills on drinks are always well-stocked and available.

My favorite place 😍, love the burger 🍔, fries 🍟 😋 and the whole sandwich 🥪. Keep going. You are doing well .

"My first experience at Five Guys was unique—I didn't realize you could customize your burger by choosing each ingredient separately. Being a picky eater, this was a pleasant surprise. Despite finding the cost a bit steep, the delicious taste made up for it. Although the wait was a bit long with many people standing around, the server was patient, helpful, and kind. It's not exactly fast food, but the quality definitely makes it worth it."

Knew they were over priced but seriously our food was substandard - I ordered a hot dog which was burnt and not even a proper sausage , my partners hamburger was sloppy and wet. I asked where the toilets were and was told they are outside - didn’t fancy walking in pouring rain to find one either 🙈. Overall a negative experience.

Don’t even bother trying to contact customer service if you had an issue with your order. After all the beaurocracy the back forth of emails and uploading pictures of receipts we were told we checked the cameras and nothing was wrong. I wonder hot on the camera they could see if I got the specific sides that requested to in the Burger ?!

Average food, not fresh. Burgers were okay but a bit dry, like they weren't freshly cooked. Same with the fries, they were a bit over cooked but also not very fresh. Bit disappointing really as Five Guys are normally very good and consistent. Staff were friendly and helpful when o asked if I could have some water to take some medicine.

This branch is super duper crowded. Expect to wait for awhile just to get a table and then a long line to queue for food. Burgers wasn’t as tasty as what I had before, it could be because it was rushed. Unimpressed.

I do love a five guys, the food is usually brilliant. The milkshake was awesome as always but the burger was luke warm and the fries weren't the usual taste. This won't put me off dining in a five guys again just maybe not this one

I ordered 2 Large Fries on Deliveroo with my order and they forgot them. 4 burgers, no fries. Of course we wanted fries, we even got the mayo for the fries but NO FRIES. It’s Friday, why mess our order up on a Friday.

Food was tasty, but two mistakes were made on our cheeseburgers - one came as a bacon burger, the other had no onions. This made us feel like we weren't listened to when ordering. The Cajun Spiced fries were very overseasoned. No NUTS available :(

Glad to say that the same quality and standards are the same throughout the world. If you closed your eyes and ate the hamburger you could not tell if it was Portland, Maine or Ashford, Kent, UK. Service was outstanding. Well done Ashford !!!

Ordered to take away and when I got home the burger was completely raw, I've had to throw the whole lot away as its put me off eating now. Definitely won't be coming back

Food was dreadful definitely not worth the money, chips were cold and burger looked like it was thrown together. Workers looked very miserable and wasn't friendly at all, definitely won't be coming back again
