Istanbul Grill in Ashford

Not the cleanest of food outlets outside. There is an array of pigeon droppings along with cigarette butts and what looks like dried donor kebab meat. There has been an attempt to tidy the area at the front of the store, however, the pigeon's are a permanent nuisance. Have not eaten here any time soon. 4 star hygiene certificate displayed in window so, they have experienced problems with the outside of their building, I'm sure an ongoing irritation. Food however, is pretty good and always a very good portion of food. Salad is always fresh.

Went in tonight ordered for 4 people I ordered a Shish kebab with salad and garlic sauce, the lamb was to die for and the salad was so fresh! I also had lamb donner on the side which was so good! I definitely recommend with full bellies all round what more could you want?

Ordered food for delivery for a number of adults in attendance. Used a well known company and it was straight forward. Food was a delivered by a very friendly lady. The food arrived reasonably on time so no complaints. Presentation was ok level and the taste was not what I would expect. Spicy wings were closer to baked wings and the onion rings. The taste was not up to the standard. Chips were good but not difficult. Overall the chicken , could have more flavour and texture the compliments both the flavour’s . Maybe the food was rushed as it is busy day

My local kabab only and always order from here! Staff are lovely never had a complaint

Today ordered a meal.... told me was waste on chicken donner... then informed me it wasn't cooked but still mad emy meal with uncooked chicken apparently been a loyal customer for years.... but don't think I'll be going back there

Service was alright orderd a large kebab barley got any meat its quite greasy but enjoyable phoned after finding very little meat so he gave a small meat for free chips pipping hot nice and fresh but he was on his phone while talking to customers quite rude but great sevice

Personally wouldn't give it 1 star. Customer service is shocking won't be ordering from there again.

We normally get our kebab from here and the staff are usually amazing, but today one of the staff was so rude, we weren't ready to order initially so he said "call me when you're ready.” So after bout 2 mins, we asked if we can order and he continued to do fiddle on his phone and said “WAIT!” didn't even properly acknowledged us. He kept on playing on his phone for 2 mins so we just left.

Reading all the bad reviews I guess I must’ve always been lucky whenever I’ve eaten from here. Every time the food has been done well and tasted great. Looks like they make their own chilli sauce too which is always better than the squeezy bottle stuff from the wholesaler.

I ordered kebabs from this company and they didn't deliver. When I phoned up to ask why they said there was a problem with their website. The payment was on pending on my account and they stated that they would send me a refund but they haven't. They took the money from my account, didn't send the kebabs and are refusing to send a refund! THEIVES!

I ordered a large chicken donner and it was more like a small had more salad then meat, the chicken donner was fatty and chewy. The chips were really soggy and horrible i wont order again from here.

They are rude ,, they threatened me knowing my address 😤 police have been contacted, They have refused to refund me ! Reason for disagreement?? Because we asked for our sauce to be in a pot as apposed to directly on the meal as we was sharing it and one of my children have an allegy ,, however the rest of the family enjoy sauce,, We did ask for 2 ,, but after loads of threatening behaviour and the man reminded me "HE KNOWS WHERE I LIVE " in the last bit of convoy I has with him he said he was annoyed I ordered 2 pots ?? ( that's fine tell me I can't have 2 and il choose one ,, that's no probl3m ,, but he never told me that ,, The phone call started off irate and finished in myself being refused and refund and threatened!!! Again ov used this company as my go 2 for years ,, I'm so upset and disgusted with this

Simply slipshod! I have been a regular customer and liked the food in the past, but I think it has had a steep downfall in recent times. The staff is very unfriendly now. They didn't take my order but kept the call running. They did it many times, and all the time I was listening them talking to each other. The food isn't that good now. It smells awful and is not cooked well.

Ive given 1 start as I cant give anything lower, ive never had such a discussing kebab and chips, it was like cardboard, the chips must have been left then reheated, my son had a mixed kebab plain, but they put garlic mayo on his which he ended up refusing to eat. Safe to say will never be ordering from here again

Brought from these a few times,food been great,but tonight my daughter found a bit of metal in her donner meat,jacket potato was dry,pizza's were well cooked, will not waste my money again

Found a bit of blue plastic bag cooked into the kebab meat , got a refund, but dissapointed it got to us in our meal, standards need to be improved to avoid this happening again , advice would be cheak your food or go somewhere else,

Really tasty chicken doner, massive portion, friendly staff. Short wait, available parking spaces really close to the shop.Highly recommend

Thought I'd try them for a pizza-never again. The most horrible pizza I've ever tasted and almost needed a magnifying glass to find the slim cut cheap as 'toppings'. Much went in the bin so I guess half the price of the big guys means half the quality at this place. 😞

Cracking service over an hour to get delivered and stone cold 10 out of 10 for effort

We usually order here and everything is okay, therefore we have decided to order for our new years eve. The order was £109 and the order number is 1000152. The food was scheduled to come at 8pm, however it came 4 hours early. This is unacceptable because my husband was not back from work yet, but we had to start new years eve dinner early and without him. Not only the food came 4 hours early, but it also came COLD. The chips luke-warm, dry, the pizza was already cold, had to microwave it. The only thing that was somewhat warm was rhe fish and chips but thats about it. All of the food had to be microwaved and tastes very BAD. Our new years eve was RUINED, therefore we did not contact you on the same evening because our mood was already bad. I understand you might have been busy, but this is UNACCEPTABLE.

I ordered Adana kebab last night and the food was SO BAD it was really juicy had some stuff on it which apparently was “salad” it was ridiculous I also ordered salad next to my meal and apparently their definition of salad is just full of lettuce in a box. Never ordering from this place.

Absolutely superb food,piping hot when you get it delivered, guy's are polite and friendly ,great varied menu ,at great reasonable price's .😀😀😀😀😀😀

Can't understand the bad review's. Just ordered from here and the kebabs were lovely. I'd probably go as far to say it was the best kebab meat I've had as the others I've been too have had a horrible taste that doesn't taste like kebab meat at all, but this place was lovely. They cooked our meat well as we asked with no problems. Will be ordering again for sure.

Wouldn’t rate this place at all waited over an hour for are food when it arrives I get told that they didn’t have a certain food which was my girlfriend dinner and they decided to replace it with a drink insted of timing and asking if she would want to replace with something else also the food was stone cold! Wouldnt rate them at all!

I don't expect to enter an empty shop with 3 staff members behind the counter and not be acknowledged for at least 2 minutes.

Don't bother. Got home with my order only to find it was wrong. Went back and the bloke behind the counter said it was my fault, ad I should have known by the amount I wad charged that the order was wrong. Never using them again. Really rude.

Ordered meat+chips but asked for them to be in separate boxes, apparently this was a problem, the guy rung me ranting and raving how if that's what I wanted I should've chose them separately, clearly he had a problem with me saving money, he said: "I do one time, but I promise you I won't next time" , well if that's how you want to be I won't bother ordering again from you, as you seem to be the only kebab in Ashford with a problem in supplying my food how I asked, at least your delivery driver was nice and pleasant! Oh and the food was no where near as nice as many of the others in Ashford, chips where burnt and very poor quality I'd steer clear of this place if you would like good service
