Do yourself a favour - think twice before you eat there. I went with a friend. The chips tasted and looked like they had been cooked in oil earlier in the day and re-heated in a microwave so they were soggy and tasteless and not a lot of effort put into presentation on the whole the food was substandard. The furniture wasn't the best. The chairs needed re-padding and given a good clean. The female staff were polite and helpful. Probably the only positive thing about our visit to the café.

Just a small local café... Yeah right! Arrived as a group of 4 plus a 2 year old. Cafe very busy. Staff found us seats very fast and addad a child's seat. The staff were very fast, rushing aroud. But not too fast as to be dangerous. Our order was taken in good time. And cthe food came out fast and was bery tasty, men's toilets were clean and fresh. The bill was easy to pay, and attitude of the staff was very welcoming. Tables more suited to one or two persons but a family like ours the table was 'tight' but I wouldn't hesitate to return again.

Food was awful, female member of staff made jokes about my weight. Cup of tea tasted like it was made two days prior. Male staff member then tried to chat up my wife whilst she was paying. Totally unprofessional, if there was an option to rate Zero stars I would. Place has gone extremely far downhill since new owners took over.

Don’t order from delivery from here! I ordered a sausage sandwich it had one sausage cut in half and chips turned up like this. Highly would not recommend

Eat here frequently the food is cooked well and the portions are a good size. it gets very busy at lunch time young owner is very nice

Been here a few times when visiting my sister in law. Very clean, staff are very friendly. Food cheap and tasty. The eat as much as you like cooked for you breakfast is extremely good. Overall a nice place to eat. It does get packed out at times. Now I wonder why? Well recommended.

Although it'll never be the prettiest cafe in town, you can be assured of a warm, friendly welcome and waitress service. My all day breakfast was nicely presented, the mushrooms were plentiful and large, the tomatoes fresh and the food well cooked. The coffee was tasty too and the price competitive.

I love this cafe, the food is good and very reasonably priced. The gentleman who runs this cafe, makes a fuss of all his regulars and is exceptionally kind to the elderly and those with learning disabilities. I can't praise this highly enough

This is one café we will not visit again. We ordered two toasted cheese sandwiches and ended up with two slices of toast with cold grated cheese and two cups of tea which tasted awful.

Good size portions of well cooked food. good place for all day breakfast quite a large menu. family run

The liver and bacon meal was very good but egg, bacon & chips was very average. Took a while to cook the meals as it was late afternoon, cup of tea was a nice drink. Prices were cheap and being next to the bus stops in Bank Street was a good advantage and the staff were friendly

Excellent food and service. Never had a bad meal. Nothing is too much for them. At last a proper cooked fried egg. Lovely friendly people. Excellent value.

This is the place to go in town if you want to eat good quality home made meals. Good quality ingredients are used and the service is fantastic. So friendly you will want to come again and again. I do!

From the outside the façade could do with an upgrade and the window could benefit from a de-clutter as there are too many bits affixed to its interior side. As for inside, well it is a large café with many tables, thoughtfully arranged as 2,...

Eat here often , always too many chips lol , family run Dad mum daughter and 6 week grandson , nice and friendly

A very basic cafe, but offering everyday food at very competitive prices, andtheir coffee is always good and very hot, not luke warm like most places.The staff are very friendly and the service is quick.

Good for a fry-up and selection of well priced main courses available. Clean and quick service. A good breakfast stop

The Ashford Cafe changed hands a few weeks ago and the new management are so different to the last. They have introduced good home cooked regular and specials meals every day They have a 5 star hygiene rating and the service is very friendly. This cafe deserves to be a success as all the new food is fresh local produce.They are open for breakfast, and serve until late afternoon Monday to Saturday. If you just want a coffee/tea and a snack or a full cooked meal do please try the Ashford Cate in Bank Street, Ashford, Kent.
