Dipa Tandoori in Ashford

Ordered chicken rogan josh, no spice to it, supposedly tomato curry with roasted spices, and a chilli kick, more like smart price curry sauce, I've had ice cubes that have been Hotter? Don't waste your money, Can't wait till i get my samsung z6 flip, Has A I(Artificial intelligence) which has a translator, Breaks down the commutation barrier.

The food was terrible. Puri was wet. Won't have again.

A great takeaway. We ordered online to collect and our food was ready upon arrival. Food was great and well cooked. There's parking outside to collect and they offer delivery too.

I've been ordering from Dipa once a week for about 18 months now. I really like the food and normally it's with me early, taking about 40 mins on average and a nice delivery driver. Last couple of times it's been a bit late, I can live with that. However I've just been told by tonights driver not to order again as I live too far away and it'll take them an hour and a half to deliver - google maps says I'm a 10 minute drive away. Guess my loyalty and custom aren't wanted anymore. Gutted 😞

Brown salad, awful curry, clumpy rice, bread rank. Binned the lot

Ordered a curry from here this evening, I was a few pence short of the 10% off for cash offer and refused the cash and wanted the full amount on card, he walked away and gave the card terminal to the delivery guy as obviously embarrassed by his decision to fully charge me 🙄. Got back home and put the curry’s I had ordered on my plate in which I couldn’t believe the amount of water that was there. One of the worst curries I have had. Will be going else where now

A busy Friday night so I don’t mind waiting at all but the popadoms are inedible. They taste like they’ve been cooked in fat older than my favourite comfy pair of shoes. So disgusting. Awful! Can still smell them from the kitchen as I type in my living room…. (Can you tell the popadoms were my order choice!?)

I chose to collect as I was already out. Advised 7:10 collection. I left it longer as it was a Saturday evening. Arriving at 7:30, I was told "2 mins." I sat and waited, and waited! 8pm and I only ordered 1 curry and rice! There appeared to only be two people working there, along with two much The onion salad was awful - great big chunks with what looked and tasted like parsley? Should be finely chopped onion, cucumber and tomato, with coriander. It filled a hole, but won't be going there again.

Delivery driver phoned me when he was 10 mins away, was rude, expected me to wait outside in the cold and then complained that I wasn't waiting outside for him, so he left food at hotel reception. Food would've been good if it was hot. Sub standard delivery service !

Over 35 years ago I had an awesome prawn dansak. I’ve been hoping to taste one as good since then. Tonight I found it.

Was given an unreasonable delivery time in the first place. Food was late so rang the restaurant who were rude and dismissive.

First time ordered here and would certainly order again. Great flavour for a dansak although the lamb a little lacking. Might try a chicken version next time. Very much enjoyed the food.

Ordered on a Monday of all days for asap but still waiting after an hour for delivery if I had known I would not have ordered and will not be ordering from them in future as I ac expect on a weekend they are busy but not on a Monday and if you schedule an order you cannot schedule it until an hour later it’s a joke

Had the munchies, ordered from these guys. Wasn’t disappointed at all. The chicken naan was a thing of beauty and the tarka daal was the best I’ve had. Portion sizes were good and I am a rather ample seated gentleman myself and even I would say there was more than enough food

We've been customers with Dipa Tandoori for years & over the last year the food has been hit & miss! (Your drivers are epic!). I've just had the worst curry delivered, it looks like slop & tastes nothing like we know it can! This will be our last order unfortunately (I complained once before so I know they don't care, hence this review!)

far to much water on the food it was like a puddle I order the food at 16;38 and got it at 18;40 if the restaurant is not open do not take the money. as i did not no it would be over 1 and 50 mins to wait for my food until I paid for it. NOT HAPPY

If I could have left no stars at all I would have done! Absolutely the most disgusting food (if you can call it that)! That I have EVER HAD! I had lamb tikka and the chunks of “meat” were an awful colour! The texture absolutely VILE! And the taste was so salty that I had to spit it out and I LOVE salt!! DISGUSTING AND VILE! And went straight in the bin and quite frankly it looked like it had been taken out of someone’s bin in the first place! I cannot believe that they are still open! That will teach me for not ordering from my normal Indian takeaway but I wanted to try others out there and now I wish I hadn’t! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! You have been warned!

I love this Indian restaurant. Its my favourite. The food is always tasty and not burnt or over done. I've tried others and this is the best and the most reasonably priced also.

Delivery time stated 30-50 mins, order confirmation came through and stated 1 hour and 20 minute delivery 😖 order was than STILL late - had to ring and explain delivery hadn’t turned up, driver had conveniently “just” left....still another 15 minutes, food was cold when it arrived!

First of all, I should have walked out as soon as I saw some precooked potatoes in a big bowl at knee level, left there without a lid 🥺 Anyway, got the order, open the Peshwari Nan bag and tried a small bite before sorting out my plate and as soon as I tore it in half, this orange colour weird looking dry mix inside looked suspicious. Anyway had a bite and it was just awful, it tasted off, and actually put me off eating anything else from our order. I had a small amount of the coconut rice and the lentil dish, but again, just tasted off. Really unhappy with it. Will not go back

Long time customer of Dipa, so this is not written lightly. 2 hours to get a curry for one on a Thursday night, 30 minutes after the estimate time, 50 mins after the requested time. Call the take away and got absolutely no sense from them. Lets talk about the food, tasted good but stone cold. Curry 56 degrees Naan 25 degrees, used a food probe. Never ever going to use this service again. So let down

Food great, delivery driver really polite. Completely understand NYE 2020 is busy however, please try to manage the volume of orders you accept. In my opinion 2 hours is too long. Also, a call waiting phone system.

My Vegetable Jhalfrezi and Mushroom Pilau Rice was fantastic I loved it I would order that again but my partner did not like his Tandoori Chicken Masala he said it had a funny taste and was very stringy and hard he would not order that again .

Holy moly that was the best Indian I've had in YEARS. The Tandoori mixgril melted in my mouth! & my balti was even BETTER the next day A*** keep up the good work chef!!
