Burger King in Ashford

Myself and my husband had a couple of hours to spare yesterday (14th September), anyway we went in to have a meal as a treat, turns out more of a mis treat. The staff were rude, the manager was worse. We sat down to eat our meal and my husbands "hot chocolate" looked like dish water and tasted just as bad after complaining I was told "that the machine had been fixed a couple of days before, and if I wanted a replacement hot chocolate it would taste exactly the same as the first" so opted out of that and had a sprite. The food was cold and the fries were half cooked. As for the lettuce it was brown in places so clearly turning rotten. We will never go there again. And if you value your digestive system I would stay away too. The staff need training in customer service and the manager either needs to go or have PROPER management training. Failing that get rid of them all and start over again with nice people and staff. They would have more custom if they had nice staff and much better food. May I also add that everytime we have been there the downstairs part of the store is always shut off to the public so you can't use the facilities my next step is to now contact their head office.

I'm very disappointed because couldn't redeem a reward on my aless you can do something about it I'm not coming back

Lovely burger king, the drive though layout is a bit weird but if you pay attention you should be fine.

I had a really good experience and food was really good. I was serviced by a polite young lad that had not long started. Would highly recommend.

The food was really nice, and it didn’t take long to come. The staff seemed nice, the table was clean and ready for u to eat at it. Definitely going back.

language barrier for one & until now, I didnt get charged for mayonaise but its different now you do get charged 30 pence per pot ?? I mean really ??

Cashier could not understand what I want. Didnt even ask if im ordering a meal or just a sandwich. Didnt offer any refund or anything, had to charge me double. Avoid please.

kayleigh the ‘boss’ was shouting at a trainee when me and my children where sat down trying to have our food. she was shouting and it looked like for no apparent reason, made the trainee cry and didn’t look like a nice boss please take notes ‘boss’!

One of the worst burger King ever. The staff attitude is the worst there. I just go there to redeem my voucher and the staff is like ohhh just go someother burger King. We are not taking this kinda things. The official burger King app voucher is not accepting there?. It's so sad. The attitude towards customers. The staff should get more proper training how to behave to staff. And also let them know about companies ongoing promotions and everything. Never visit here again.

This is a slimmed down version of a normal BK. As such, the cheapest burger is over £5, meal around £9, and when I asked if they still did the King Saver burger for around £1-£2 - they said it had been discontinued, which I subsequently found to be a lie. We also asked about the Melt Duo offers, which they said we could only order through the app - so after downloading the app, it became apparent that you couldn't order via the app at this branch. Awful attitude and service from start to finish.

Absolutely shocking buns not toasted as broken so burger severed stale cold with cold bacon. Chips cold not happy at all with food and been refused a refund.

Unfortunately, only 1 star review due to the poor customer service. The girl who served us Kaileigh was extremely rude to my friend and I. She did call herself a boss which raised a red flag straight away. We visit the store often as everyone was always nice but she has changed our mind today.

Do you teach your staff to be rude and inattentive. Casey from ashford town couldnt have been more rude, as i stood waiting for at least 5-10 minutes after making eye contact and walking away!!! Or at least to me! On the other hand my fiancé goes over and she instantly sees him and asks how she can help, still blunt but my question is who has taught with people as when we normally come in we are seen and acknowledged within seconds even if they are busy.

GOOD value for money from the bk apps

BBBBBBBBBBKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK HAVE IT YOUR WAY. 20 tasty nugs for only £4. Bargain if you ask me. and they taste pretty good. Bacon is so artificial it tricks your mind into thinking its good.

Nice and quiet place to eat not busy at all. Tried new Angus burger meal and Argentina for my wife . Both enjoyed very much.

Server was OK, food was OK, tables were dirty.

Fast food is a fast food so how much you can expect?. In our case everything was fine and promptly served, we decided to pop in to Burger King for a quick meal whilst we were shopping. All in our order was promptly served with tons of condiments, which made the meal delicious. I have to say that crew is very friendly and although I don't remeber the name of the girl who served us I have to say that she was a pro. I started ordering and as I am not a frequent customer of Burger King I would pay more for the things which in fact were cheaper when combined as a meal, which was explained by mentioned girl. Thank you for that. Keep this positive attitude towards your customers and I am sure they will appreciate it. Thanks for recommendations and saving our gold but mostly for friendliness and good service. Fast food as fast food which was good but service made it worth. Well done.

Coffee machine not work my meal not up to normal standard from the chain.

Absolutely disgusting,5 parts of the order was put of stock , chicken strips were still frozen ,no milkshakes water or kids juice in stock . The food was as disgraceful as the service

Tables not clean and people serving gave inaccurate information about food availability

I ordered meals for myself and my family, only to observe the staff, Kayleigh, preparing the food without washing her hands. She was Observed touching the food counter, whilst handling the burger/ buns, she wiped her hands on her jeans, removed her hair from her face and all of these activities were observed without the use of hand cleansing, with either soap and water and/ or hand sanitizer. I asked for a refund and left the store. We are in a pandemic and food hygiene practices are important to protect both the customers from infection and disease. This particular individual when told about her behaviour was rude and insolent, and unapologetic hence my rationale to share my observation.

Food was good, and after that I went toilet to wash up toilet. It was bad. It look like no one has clean toilet.

Food was great.big downside was kids siting at tables,without buying anything,running around,standing on milk sachets and being rude.

Staff have no idea what is going on.

There are not enough staff in the store ever at lunchtime. Seemed unable to deal with people’s orders and was busy running around after someone who had just ordered despite the fact that quite a few others had ordered way before them and food was stacking up! People in the queue were just getting fed up and leaving

Ordered plain with cheese completely ignored the order and just did it standard with all the toppings.

My favorite is the King bacon burger..... Always my order when am here. The chips is very crisp too. The staff are quick also especially during peak hours

Went here with my daughter, very good and friendly service, served quickly and food was okay. No issues getting a seat however no milkshake available.

It's not McDonald's but that's good as it has better bigger burgers!

Order was a mess and the food was cold once we got into the car .really poor quality cannot say any other way =go next door to KFC or MAc Donald both out stretch this place by a mile .

I thought this place was closed at first. The lighting was partly off and there were a couple of roller banners partly blocking the entrance. A little pricey and the atmosphere just felt off. Went elsewhere in the end.

This has got to be the worst B/K going, 2 people behind the counter, 15 minute wait to be served, then we found out , sorry no milk shake, but beside that, cups of tea were only half full, they had forgotten one lot of chicken nuggets,which when we got them were only warm , chips were dry, no wonder it’s nearly always empty. B/K, if you read this, please, GET NEW MANAGEMENT,have a fresh start, & when you do, advertise the fact, so all the disgruntled customers, can give you another try. Just look at the terrible reviews, we can’t all be wrong ! Thankyou

Really sad place.. 3 of the 5 menus screens not working. Half the restaurant was cordened off and in darkness. All equipment behind counter looks very outdated compared to newer restaurants. Witnessed a manager having an argument with a customer due to a voucher not being accepted at that branch. Chips were cold. Milkshakes were off the menu. I'd suggest going over to Eureka Park.. Much better experience

Better than the other burger place

Food OK, but service was abismal. One guy was running himself ragged trying to serve a large queue of customers. He was doing everything from cooking the chips to making hot and cold drinks. There was other staff there, but they just seemed to be hiding around the back somewhere. The guy doing all of the work was very pleasant,and even apologized for the wait. I told him to go and have a break and let someone else do some work. I think he actually took my advice. Apart from that the place was clean and well maintained. Still only 3 🌟 I'm afraid.

Took a while to get my food and the restaurant didn't have a clean table however they were busy so may have been due to a lack of staffing? I had a King Box Deal for £4.99 which was amazing value!

Of all the things to run out of, whopper burger patties!!

We were informed that they had no bacon (even though that’s most of their menu) only when ordering at the till. The manager informed us that we weren’t entitled to any discount or any free side and swiftly and cowardly disappeared into his office, closed the door and let his till worker take the flack of everyone coming in. Surely there could have been a sign put up at the entrance that half of there menu would be missing a pretty vital ingredient and maybe the manager shouldn’t have gone to hide. With only 2 orders being prepared, I was surprised it took 15 minutes to make 4 burgers.Wouldn’t recommend or go back.

Great burgers but service a bit slow.

Burger king Ashford is it me or anyone else notice the food is getting smaller we don't find it value for money in fact it's not worth the money as a nother couple of quid and you will feel full and satisfied.

Very short staffed and only two people in front us yet still took 16 minutes to cook 2 burgers . There is a complete lack of urgency here and a ‘can’t be bothered’ attitude .I will never eat there again as I simply don’t have enough time to wait!

The food was horrible, would not suggest going here service was rubbish, no seats as the had closed off half the shop when I asked if they would open it the said no. The bin was over flowing, rubbish all over the floor and rubbish on tables. Only 1 person serving she was very nice and helpful, her name was Sydney. Will be calling up to sort the matter out as they should be closed down. I watched the women prepare burgers, they were pre cooked sitting in a dirty tray which she got out without gloves throwing the buns on the dirty table top absolutely disgusting!

Couldn't print the receipt for any orders and very understaffed. A queue of 3 people took 15 minutes just to take the order. In the end left before ordering.

Even though the restaurant was empty. The staff took so long to serve you. But the breakfast was served fresh and hot.

Also my food sat on tray for 5 minutes before they realised it was mine and offered fresh chips but burger and nuggets were cold. Terrible place. Avoid at all cost if you want to stay healthy. Tables are filthy, waiters are robotics and their hands are dirty. Toilets are AWFUL. This is the worth place i ever eat....

Hadnt had a burger king for ages so we called in here. Sadly my childs nuggets were rock hard. Chips were awful. Everything felt dirty and sticky. The toilet was dirty and had no loo roll. Went to empty rubbish when we left& the bin was literally over flowing. Maybe they were short staffed im not sure, but at nearly £20 I wished we had gone elsewhere& wont be returning. 😞 sorry

Just a regular burger king I thought! Nope the staff were lovely, so helpful and happy. As I was at the centre on promotions that day I kept going back there over the day , coffee is delicious, perfect, no frills great cuppa coffee!

Modern gestaltet, aber bei unserem Besuch liess die Sauberkeit der Tische zu wünschen. Burger soweit i.O., aber mein Salat bezüglich Preis - Leistung mau....

Not my first choice of BK as I prefer the one at Eureka Park. The food was good except the chilli cheese bites where a bit over cooked or left long to cook. The Angus steak was very good as where the fries and bbq long.

Yes Burger King is a very good place to eat here and Ashford Kent just in the High Street in the shopping centre
