The best restaurants in Arun South East

Its a 3rd time, fries isn't fresh.

We have ordered a large cod meal and a chicken doner for the first time and I think this is my new favourite place. It was large as none of us could finis with it, chicken was tasty juicy and crispy at the same time. The cod tasted fresh, the fries like real potatoes. It was even looked better than on their pictures. The price was alright for this two large meals. Delivery was quick, it was at our door in 15mins . Will definitely order again.

Nice cafe apart from their savoury food options I bought a pasty at 3.65 was absolute pap, could have had better in prison no taste no colour soggy gooop.

What’s happened? Ordered a takeaway and this is nothing like the old food. Noodles, rice seem the same but the meat… everything is considerably worse. Gutted to see this place move into bland microwave zone. Let’s see if this is the end for me here…

I was attacked in the Alex last night because I was on the phone to my girlfriend and I am from Wales DO NOT GO TO THIS PUB!!! the staff just watch it and didn't do anything!!! And then 12 black guys trun up to hurt me lucky enough I got out of there very quickly so FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY DO NOT GO TO THIS PUB!!!! Horrible behaviour all because I am from Wales!!!!

I'm quite disappointed reading some 1 star reviews. Maryam food is so full of flavour. I have pathia and it's been perfect every time I've had it. Lovely and spicy. How anyone can say the food is tasteless is beyond me. 5 stars all round everything.

Great staff. Coffee was a high standard by a barista that clearly cared about the quality of my flat white. Everywhere clean and tidy and a happy relaxing environment.

Paid £17 for 4 portions of chips and 1 drink. The chips tasted like chips from the freezer and not even cooked properly nothing special at all for the price you pay you'd expect actual chip shop chips you would get at the beach. How can you justify charging the prices you are charging just for potatoes. If we wasn't so hungry would have walked away but definitely won't be returning!

Absolutely appalled to see a young girl left by herself with a massive queue of customers gone 11pm trying to do everything whilst being abused by customers losing their tempers with the wait. Managers obviously hiding away and leaving her on the front line to take the slack from their badly managed operation. Tamara should be given the managers wages and the management should have theirs deducted. Burger King, where is your duty of care for your poor young staff?

Would have been nice of the company to state that they are closed on their website. It would have saved me a wasted journey to find the building shut down.

Absolutely disgusting delivery takeaway, sauces were running and the beef, whatever cut it was covered in fat. Just kept spitting it out and hoping for the best with the next bit. Needless to say it all went in the bin! Wondered why it all arrived so quickly, wasn't freshly cooked!!!! Again ordered from here 25/2/25, disgrace, none of us could eat it, no reimbursement offered, went in the bin again, along with the £50, thought we'd give them another chance. Avoid!

Food might be nice but the customer service is appalling! Got a lot of attitude just because I said I’d like to pay by card. You seriously need to work on your customer relations.

The food was incredibly average. Tasteless and very much below par, especially considering the price. Crème brûlée was so shallow that it was inevitably overcooked. Didn’t taste of anything and the blackberry crème didn’t even taste slightly if blackberries. Every dish we ordered was underwhelming. The dining room had cobwebs and the tonic that accompanied the £9 G&T was a very cheap brand. The service was excellent; cheerful and efficient…which meant we could escape quickly. Won’t be returning. There are much, much better places to eat for the price.
