The best restaurants in Arun South East

Updated Review 18/05/2025 We picked up our order through drive-through, when we got home and started to eat the food we noticed several things. 1. My large popcorn chicken box was not even three quarters full. 2. The popcorn tasted old, not fresh. 3. The chips had no seasoning whatsoever and tasted really buttery (was so odd) 4. The Pepsi Max was completely flat. Same goes for the popcorn and fries in the two popcorn snack boxes we purchased. Was really disguisting and very dissapointing. Not one thing was nice, what is going on at that store. Really bad quality control.

Called into Swanbourn manor tearooms. For morning coffee before setting out on one of walks around the lake and the stunning countryside the coffee was very welcome serving a lovely blend of coffee good friendly service a good selection of cakes and pastries a pleasant experience Well worth visiting

People avoid this take away the food is really poor ie portion sizes quality, I ordered scampi which Tom has 10 of the most tiniest pieces of bread crumb only know scampi in them at all, and I also ordered a large cod and chips which was absolutely revolting. My brother-in-law ordered the same and the portion size of the fish was so small you couldn’t even consider it to be a small portion. Absolute rip-off. Avoid avoid avoid

It doesn’t matter if we eat in the restaurant or have a delivery service which is also good everything is spot on, these people can really cook and give good value.

Great pre ordered breakfast for 9 adults and 7 grandchildren, beautifully tasty hot and such a good selection of food. Fantastically organised by Adam and the rest of the team. Keeping in touch by email helped the party go smoothly as everyone knew what they were having and actually some had more 😂 three grandchildren had some of the wonderful cakes that were also available. We felt so welcome and were so glad to have met you all. Keep up the good work and may it prosper, as it deserves too Team Midpine! Thanks so much again Adam…..”X” there have another one! Bacon was a bit dry but edible, atmosphere was very business like but I guess it has to be to cope with the volume of people. Unfortunately it can feel like you went through a process rather than an experience for breakfast.

Never been to a fast food place that made me feel welcome before. Tracie does credit to BK.

Had the best sizzler steak ever. Great service and incredible prices.. why have the powers that be spoilt it for asking me to write a longer review.!!!. ok again staff brilliant,and food excellent

One fish & chops shop near by castle. Got portion of large chips in £8 for 2.

This was my second or third time buying off them. And for sure my LAST TIME. Piece of metal in my noodles. I don’t want to know what would have happened if that was swallowed. BE CAREFUL EVERYONE!!

Good service, but coffee was just a warm cup of coffee flavoured milk. I couldn’t drink it! Dirty floors, chairs, carpet at front door. I would expect better from Costa. Wouldn’t recommend or return myself.

Today 4/12/23 The rating of 2 stars is for the food/cafe The rating I would give to the manager who resolved my issues is 5 stars……read on to hear the full story I order 3 all day breakfasts and some sides , we had to wait a bit of time for them to come also I had to clear the table myself from the last customer , also the table hadn’t been wiped over . The Breakfasts arrived , they were cold to Luke warm , we had a side order of chips they were a bit warmer. Nobody came to check after they had been served to the table to see if we were satisfied with the food. When I complained the response from the people in the cafe wasn’t great saying “we should have said at the time” rather than saying “I am sorry about this” …. . I asked to see a manager as I wasn’t overly impressed with the cafe staffs limp response . The came over to the table from the store. I explained the issues and also highlighted out while I was there another customer had complained about her lunch being at best warm when it’s supposed to be hot . I have since seen other complaints about the food being cold to luke warm when served on trip advisor. The manager who had come to the table to deal with our issues was a gentleman called Frazer can I say that he was the shining light. Frazer introduced himself and dealt with the complaint with the upmost professionalism and confidence and I would say that he is a credit to the store and a credit to the Morrisons brand. It would be great if someone possibly his Store Manager or Area Manager or Head Office could recognise him in some way as he turned a customer (me) who would have left the store as a detractor to a customer who left the store as promoter of the Morrison brand. Well done Frazer ! I am sure you will have a very successful career with Morrisons and I suspect you must be a very valued member of the management team at this store/Morrisons.

Food over the phone waited over hour and a half food was ok the woman who deliver just laugh when I said I would never do it again

Worst food I've tasted in a long time. Sweet and sour chicken, think they forgot the sweet as it was like eating lemons and went in the bin, as did the rest of the food. Waste of £25. Save your money and use the other concessions.
