Costa Coffee in Arun

A lovely little pit stop, for a hot chocolate on the go. Staff were friendly and accommodating, also very clean, definite hit, I'll be going back.

We had an appointment nearby that we were 45 minutes to early for, so we popped in to Costa as our experience’s in the past have been good, not this time, service was slow, we ordered a pot of tea and a latte, two chocolate twists, the tea was good, the chocolate twists were certainly not freshly cooked that day, the latte was the worst I have ever tasted, the table had not been wiped since the last customer so it had remnants of pastry droppings, all in all not a pleasant experience, come on Costa

Sunday morning 30th June and we stopped here for a coffee before our drive home to Devon. One of us sorted out the seating, while the other went to order the coffees. Found a table in the window area, which was clean as was the upholstery on the seats. Ordered two flat whites, £3.85 each, which were prepared by a cheerful and friendly member of staff. When prepared and served up, they were just as expected full of flavour and most enjoyable. Good coffee, friendly staff and in a clean and comfortable environment.  

The staff are lovely but the coffee has gone down hill alot of the expensive elaborate ones like the frappe and the whipped ice coffee and now made with instant coffee and for the price is definitely not worth it

We waited 25 minutes for two cold drinks. I asked for a serviette to hold the cup and was thrown two screwed up serviettes off the counter top!! Needless to say, we won’t go back!!

Situated on the outside edge of Bognors superstore site. This is a good sized Costa offering all the usual good quality. Tasty Costa coffees and food. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff

Dirty uncleared tables, filthy floor, only take away cups. I realise its due to lack of staff but the company need to improve big time. The 2 members of staff were fine. They have gone down hill drastically not just this store, every store they own! I’m finished with them.

Waited over 15mins for 1 drink. People before me got their drink way before. They seemed to be on a slow go as had so many people in there just waiting for a drink but no one in the shop actually drinking. Quite a few other customers were annoyed with how long they were waiting. Prices had gone up and asked for no whipped cream but got whipped cream, however, I wasn't about to wait another 15mins for a drink with no cream so lumped it. Was about to ask for my money back when my drink arrived. Staff were apologetic which helped a little but I think they need more staff to help ecspeacially in half-term. I will probably not return.

Was charged for three drinks only ordered 2. Slow service - yes COVID rules but 3 orders in front of me 20 min wait !! Asked for refund - let’s see if I get it back. Shame cos I do like a costa !

On my was back to my parents I stopped off for a Coffee and cake. The staff was very efficient and helpful, the place was very clean and tables were cleaned as soon as people got up to leave. The coffee and cake was delicious but expensive. There was plenty of parking.

Its pretty much the same as any other Costa coffee shop, situated in a retail park just off a dual carriage way. Handy if you are driving past or have something to do in the park. The atmosphere is as you would expect for any venue surrounded by car parks on all 4 sides. Service can at times be slow even when there are more staff than customers who always seem to be busy doing whatever other than noticing a customer.

Costa have recently relaxed the out side chairs and tables for benches. The new seating is not where one wants to sit, ie in the sun and closer to the car park (I am disabled ) there is no back to the bench, they are hard and overall very uncomfortable to sit on. Bognor Arun retail park.

Lovely place always busy but you never have to wait long, staff always happy, smart and professional

Generally it is a really good coffee shop, with friendly staff and a pleasant ambience. In peak times there can be a bit of a delay getting your coffee.

Popped in for a quick morning coffee.. 2 people in front of me but took 20 minutes to be served, how 3 people serving could be so slow!! Then was handed a tepid cup of stewed disgusting coffee. Asked to change it and the very rude manager snatched it from me, was with a small child so asked for it to be brought over, got glared at again. Normally Costa very good but this place was let down by bad service and manners.

Stopped in after some shopping for a quick snack. Food was fresh and service was friendly. Had coffee, as always the cappuccinos are the best. Toasties are the best!!! Tables were clean. Really good place for a quick snack.

Costa's are all much the same . The thing that gives this one the edge is that there is plenty of comfy seating. I was just passing through Bognor but you could tell this place was different than most Costas as, despite being out of the way, it was quite full at 10.00 on a Sunday morning. That created a bit of a wait at the service bar but the food was reasonable and there is loads of parking space. Nice place to have coffee or a snack

We often use this costa and always notice that the trays are always coffee stained, look as if they’ve never been properly washed. Also the strength of the coffee varies. If they are busy they don’t always wait for the coffee to finish draining into the white cups so you don’t always get the full amount of coffee making it weak and flavourless.

I attended with my two children a late Saturday afternoon for a hot chocolate. I was told they had no cream, then while waiting to be told my order was ready I was asked what are you waiting for by a waitress with an accent while the younger one in jeans flirted with her male colleague while sipping on her own drink. Nobody was clearing tables and service very slow considering it wasn’t very busy. Think they need to learn to be more attentive to those around them or perhaps have an older member of staff guiding them!

It's no different from any other Costa other than it's set on a retail park with a few seats outside when it's warm enough.

Pleasent enough Costa, it always delivers what it says. My only concern was that when I visited there seemed to be no staff clearing the tables for new customers.
