Had a wonderful brunch here, full English breakfast and friends had different but all food was superb as was the service, nothing too much trouble. Quirky booths with lots of games that can be played whilst waiting. Have also been here just for coffee and tea and service is brilliant, will be back again soon.

We love going here. The owners is so nice, as are the staff. The sandwiches are good and the cake selection is great, as are the prices.

Tried battered fish for the first time in uk. The staff was very kind in explaining the difference in fish types and which are popular. The fish were very crispy and airy. Not all all oily. The chips were the most best chips we have had. Also tried the breaded mushroom which were garlic mushrooms!! So tasty i brought some for home!!

Ordered take away from here for today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the taste, was the best ever among all other curry houses around Rustington. And to be greeted cheerfully by the friendly owner was nice. Would definitely recommend and would order again.

We go to Rustington regularly and thought it was about time we tried Monsoon Indian restaurant. On arrival it was busy but they easily found us a table, it was 6.30pm on a Saturday evening but not a bank holiday weekend. Poppadoms and drinks arrived quickly, however we both ordered the Tandoori mixed grill which took nearly an hour to arrive! It was presented on a sizzling hot iron plate and the waiter served the fried onions, and some lamb, chicken and a king prawn onto our plates. As soon as we started eating the meat we realised it was almost cold. It had obviously been pre-cooked and left on the side as it was really dry, cold and flavourless. Only the onions had been freshly cooked . It was so disappointing and felt like a con, but having waited so long for the food we dreaded sending it back and having to wait for something different. We then checked the menu and saw that they do not have a tandoori oven, supposedly it had been charcoal grilled, but I imagine that was many hours earlier. All the tables had slow service. The sag aloo side dish was tastier. The waiters were very nice, however, I would never eat here again.
