Lemongrass Thai Cuisine in Arun

Poor reception, no communication from waitress, just put menus on table & walked off. No tablecloths, sticky table. Ordered bottle of red wine, waitress brought white wine to table. Food bought out in dribs & drabs, had to ask for some parts as had been forgotten. Lamb shank was tender & tasty, accompanied by peas mixed in with teaspoon mash. Like mash, hate peas. Husbands sizzle dish tasty but cold by time rice appeared. We were ignored after the meal so instead of coffee & liquor just asked for bill. Don't eat out often so was a treat to go out but endeded up an expensive disappointment. Will not go back.

Tried the takeaway menu £52.95 for two people collected myself. The good was of a very poor standard. The worst Thai food I have ever had it was very bad value over £50 for two people.

A swanky Western-style Thai restaurant with food which is sort of similar to what you find in Thailand.

We often enjoy lemongrass as a take away treat but dining in is well worth it for the restaurant experience. Tasty food, polite and attentive staff. Would recommend.

5 stars doesn’t do this venue justice. Hands down THE BEST Thai food I’ve eaten outside of BKK and I lived there 3 years. I’d travel hours for this food, hospitality and damn comfy chairs if I say so myself! Wrote this review whilst still dining as I couldn’t help myself and couldn’t wait to eat the food hence the half eaten pictures! Don’t walk here….RUN!

Apart from the air con not working where we sat on what was a really warm day food was bland, quality of chicken poor and portion sizes disappointing

We used to go to our local Lemongrass every few weeks for years and then sadly they closed down. Their prawn massaman curry and the premium lemongrass roasted duck curry are so superb, we travelled 25 miles to what is now our nearest Lemongrass, and weren't disappointed, super service and atmosphere, lovely decor, and our favourite items on the menu. Yum, will definitely be going back there but unfortunately not as often as we went to our local one!

There's a theme here the better the food and quality of staff the busier they are. Brilliant food

Fantastic meal. We lost our branch in Horsham and we're so pleased to find another one, not too far away. The prawn massaman curry and the premium roasted duck curry were just as we remembered. Thank you

Really fantastic experience with their takeaway service. We’d been meaning to try out Lemongrass for a while after seeing all their Facebook posts and it did not disappoint. The ordering process was really easy online and it arrived on time to the minute - still piping hot and fresh. The food was absolutely lovely and felt more like you were having a restaurant meal but at home (rather than just a takeaway). The massaman, pad broccoli and crackers were great and we will definitely be ordering again soon

Went here for a date night, very quiet place only 2 other tables had people and this was a Thursday night about 8pm, rather expensive for the size of plate you receive and food was luke warm not piping hot as you would expect. Not sure if I would revisit, I have seen other reviews that rate this place very highly, so maybe it was an off night for the chef? Just didn't feel it was good enough for the price.

This restaurant has a beautiful interior design to it and a beautiful Thai atmosphere and the service is amazing.The food is absolutely incredible and unique. They have authentic thai cusine .We really encourage you to visit this establishment with your family.

Very good Thai restaurant in our neighborhood, it is the number 1 place to go when we want Thai food at a decent place.

The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had (and we have been to a lot of Thai restaurants). The staff were friendly and polite, the service extremely quick and efficient. We honestly cannot fault anything we ordered. It all arrived promptly and was piping hot. Would most definitely recommend this restaurant 🙂😊

I have always enjoyed my food here and would always give a 5 star. However, I was not impressed with the prawns I had at my last meal. They were hard and completely "stuck" to their shells. So much so that I had to drag out the flesh with knife and fork and ended up only eating about 25%.

This is a nice Thai restaurant with good food. The Gaeng Pa is very nice and spicy. So there is no coconut milk in this curry. It also had plenty of vegetables to go with. Went well with the rice. For dessert, the Phucket Paradise is nice. On one side, the end, there is ice cream. The other side is a warm pancake with some sweet filling.

Perfect, just what we wanted. He had no reservation and they acomodate us. Food amazing as always

Fantastic service, very tasty food all reasonably priced, definitely restaurant worth visiting.

Visited here for a lunch reservation and was welcomed warmly by the host. It wasn’t busy so we didn’t have any waiting time. Served drinks quickly from a decent drinks list and ordered prawn crackers for table nibbles which were delicious with a sweet chilli dip. Our order was for a Green Thai Curry with Sticky Rice and a Weeping Tiger steak sizzle dish with a Phad Broccoli side dish. Finished with a bowl of chocolate ice cream and a bowl of pistachio ice cream and raspberry sorbet. The food was absolutely delicious and again was delivered quickly for the whole table of 6. The host was attentive and quickly removed empty serving dishes that gave us maximum table room without feeling that hovered over feeling you can sometimes get. Very happy with the experience as a whole.

Ordered takeaway for delivery. Fantastic service, 20mins on a Saturday evening. Ordered seafood for two and a beef and rice. Most impressed, so much so will have to go for a sit down meal. Well done Lemon Grass, keep up the excellent quality.

Amazing food and excellent service!!

Very noisy and slow staff. No I don't expect you to run, but maybe when you carry a bowl of crackers to the table next to us then walk back to the kitchen area empty handed without clearing our table, then bring back another bowl to another very close table again walking back empty handed...... you don't need roller skates you maybe need glasses though. I don't think opening the doors would make it quiter as the traffic noise is surprisingly high. And please don't belittle my honest review. Check out my other reviews to see who is being flippant.

We recently moved into the Rustington area, we noticed the Thai restaurant and wanted to try it. It was spoken highly of by people down here...and it met those word of mouth reccomedtions. The most delicious food I've had for a while, excellent service and a beautiful, clean restaurant. We had the set menu for 2 people...there was plenty of food, we left highly satisfied. Well worth the price.

I'm not the best person to ask, I don't really enjoy Thai food. No reason I just don't like it.

Collected an order for the first time this evening and was very disappointed. After spending £60 for 3 people dishes we're half filled and lacked any kind of flavour. We used to live near their sister company Spice I Am in Worthing which was fantastic.

Just had a takeaway for 2 food watery no taste and cold dreadful! and £ 35 quid later! eat at there sister company spice I am last week and was brilliant whats going on think I’ve been ripped off! Called them and was told next time 2 free dishes! There will be no next time!!!!!!!!! Deserve to fall disgraceful need some cookery lessons that’s for sure!

I was treated to a meal last night from friends. Never been here before. Ordered a takeaway and went to collect it. We ordered vegetable pad thai, chicken pad Thai and Thai beef curry. It came to about £20. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The staff were busy but not rushing. I would say it was a third full which was good for a Wednesday evening. The meal came with prawn crackers. At home the food was lovely. Side order of crushed peanuts was nice. The food was hot, fresh and not greasy. I will definitely eat here again. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the portions could have been a bit bigger. Maybe next time we will eat at the restaurant.

Excellent Thai food served in pleasing surroundings. Staff are attentive and kindly. Prices and very reasonable. Well worth a visit wherever you are in West Sussex. Maybe a good idea to book first especially if you are visiting on a Saturday. Thankyou.

Took a large booking at late notice which was appreciated. Food was great and the range and choice was high. Service was quick and friendly. Would return if in the area.

The service is very good, they are very nice and attentive. The food is also good and I can't find anything to complain about. It's popular because the food is good and the prices are decent. It does the job really nicely.

This is our favourite local restaurant and me and my partner visit whenever we can. We love the vegetarian starter as it is so light and fresh and my favourite dish is the vegetable and tofu Phad Nam Man Hoy. My husband always really enjoys the king prawn Massaman curry too. During lockdown we treated ourselves to a few takeaways from here as well. Delivery is always fast and the food arrives hot, fresh and delicious. A must try for anyone visiting Rustington!

Been here twice in last 4 months as part of a couple and a larger group. On both occasions the food has been exceptional. Produce tastes fresh and food is cooked with great skill. Staff are polite and there is good choice on the menu. Will be visiting again!

I'm not usually a big fan of Thai but I have to say I really enjoyed my meal - it was delicious.

Just walked in with my partner last night and was blown away by the service and food, absolutely delicious and great flavours. We are locals so this is going to be our favourite place to eat. Just fabulous

I went for an evening meal at the Lemongrass and was not disappointed I had the King Prawn Ma-Kham Sauce. Which was recommended to me by the front of house staff. It was full of flavour and was well presented. I would certainly recommend this restaurant

Lovely food, service is lovely. Food is so worth it.

Great dinner absolutely my favourite place to eat. Food came out really quickly and think we only spent about an hour in there overall, not because we didn't like it but just a quick service. We had pudding from tescos after just because they only had ice cream available. (I took the nuts out of my dinner and put them on my partners plate, just because he prefers them)
