East Preston's bests fish and chips

Fish was freshly battered and chips tastes fresh too. Not oily so that was a bonus! Friendly staff and fast service. Would go again!

Unfortunately this was not a great experience. Ordered huss which we love but it was probably re fried as batter was dark and greasy.

Very good fries, cod ok. Fast order processing, polite and efficient service, sufficient portions. Edit 4-01-2024 Today, once again, we bought fish and chips here. The food was well-prepared as usual. Juicy fish in lightly crispy batter and very well-made fries: crispy on the outside, soft inside. Unfortunately, this time the dishes were prepared with old, possibly burnt oil. This shouldn't happen.

It is a great local fish shop with an excellent selection and great chips.

First visit and my last !! Fish was cooked to order so we were looking forward to eating it but unfortunately the chef had cut the fish so thin it was all batter and was very very oily, Will not be returning

One of my favourite Fish and Chip shops. Always the first one I go to. Amazing chips and are such nice people.

Awful! Ordered a Battered Sausage and Chips... very oily! About 3 hours after eating was projectile vomiting... will not be recommending or using again!! Certainly nothing else as I was fine after vomiting and had eaten nothing else that day....Believe it was likely the oil being used to cook in!

Freshly and perfectly cooked haddock, light and crispy batter with juicy fish. Chips were good sized and well cooked. Great service.

We are never disappointed with fish and chips from Three oceans. The fish is tasty and fried without skin, so you can eat it all. We love their wedge chips as well. Battered sausages and fish cakes are also tasty. Highly recommended

I’m quite fussy where it comes to fish and chips and it has to be good. The food I had tonight was excellent! It was cooking as I waited, so was piping hot. The fish was a good sized portion, cooked well and with light, crispy batter, not at all greasy. The chips were superb- crisp outside, nice and fluffy inside. And a good size chip, no silly little bits. Can’t wait to go again!!!

We don't know the area but had promised the grandchildren Fish and Chips on the beach after school - We weren't disappointed with Three Oceans. Arrived as they opened at 4.30p.m. - they cooked to order and it was beautiful. Very white fish, a good batter, and not greasy. Very friendly helpful lady behind the fish bar - will definitely go back next time we are in East Preston.

Went for 2 x Pie and chips, was served and delivered quickly. Food was excellent. Will definitely visit again, Chips and gravy were excellent.

Unfortunately very poor quality food. Ordered large chips but it would be mistaken for small 11 times out of 10, some chips weren't cooked thoroughly. The fish was 1/4 bone, never had that before anywhere else. Battered mars bar was decent.

Went in early lunchtime today to get mum and dad some cod and chips ended up having to get my son savaloy and chips ashwell!! Well absolutely fantastic everything so fresh and great chips best I have tasted from a chip shop the staff I would imagine the owners were very friendly and I have to say I will go back thank you and take care

Worst fish I have ever had, not very hot and very greasy, I did go in just before closing though so they may have turned off everything

Cod and chips, no skin on fish which we love, excellent quality and lovely friendly lady served us. Freshly cooked while we waited.

The fish and Chips here are very good and very reasonably priced. I had some lovely Cod. The chips are short and stocky - so good potato flavour. I liked them a lot!

Excellent fish, huge portions of chips - consistently very good.

Nice little chippy. Slightly annoying that they're closed on Sundays as that's often when people want a takeaway. Still, nice food, sometimes chips could do with slightly longer in the fryer, but delicious and great prices nonetheless.
