Charcoal Grill in Arun

We asked for ASAP and they didn't disapoint. The kebabs arrived quickly they were hot and delicious. Great as always. Absolutely delicious.

Ordered lamb shish and a combination chicken shish and lamb doner with large portion of chips. The quality of the both shish was ok not great. The lamb doner had been pre cut and was dry and almost tasteless. Salad was ok but overall the quality of the whole takeaway was disappointing. Nice people though.

Early (definitely not 18.40 as the App says) sadly all of it was cold and part of the order was wrong. Part of the order was a wrap - was delivered as a kebab. No great shakes to others, but we did NOT order something in a pitta - we ordered a wrap. A Wednesday - early, so not presumably busy, wrong order and cold - will not be ordering again

Food took just over an hour to be delivered. By that point, the only thing that was warm was the pot of sauce. Chips were soggy and the boxes the food came in was soaking wet and falling apart. Didn't even bother checking the garlic bread. It all went in the bin pretty much as soon as it arrived. What a waste of money.

Salad on my kebab consisted of lots of grated onion, a few strands of lettuce, 1 piece of tomato 1 piece of cucumber and a jalapeño. Also the large size, wasn't much difference to small size. Kebab that I also had in my order. Disappointing.

Not value for money.. ordered a Halep kebab and Shish & Kofte kebab with small chips. considering Halep comprises of Doner meat, special sauce was a tomato/ chilli base with a few sliced mushrooms and peppers and tbe combination of Shish & Kofte was overly priced and sub standard at best.. on top of that was charged a 50p service charge and £3.00 delivery-£33.30 is excessive for the food ordered and quality that was provided. I wasn't impressed, and probablt wouldn't order from here again!!

Worst kebab ever. Stone cold meat, dry cucumber, greasy chips. Shish kebab for £11 wasn't even a large and not much meat and bulked with salad over the top. Would have had a better kebab served by Salah from K-shop.

Food was so cold I had to reheat in the air fryer. Garlic bread turned up with burnt edges but cold. Very unusual food quality normally high standard at charcoal grill. Spent over £30 on takeaway that I had to cook myself.

I ordered from Charcoal Grill through the just eat app for delivery. When the order confirmation came through it was showing an hour until delivery so I called Charcoal Grill and asked if I could collect instead . They told me it would be ready in 2 minutes. I got there within 2 minutes and it was ready to collect ( I had paid for delivery) The food was cold and the pitta was burned. Charcoal Grill is a restaurant I would strongly advise avoiding. The experience was nothing short of disappointing. The food was subpar, bordering on inedible, with an overpowering taste of charred bitterness. The menu lacked variety and innovation, offering a limited selection of poorly executed dishes. Service was slow and inattentive, leaving us frustrated and hungry. The overall ambiance was lackluster, failing to create an enjoyable dining atmosphere. It's regrettable to say that Charcoal Grill is a restaurant I won't be returning to. With so many dining options available, there's no reason to subject yourself to such a disappointing culinary experience.

Last used a few years ago and was a go to takeaway, went 20/06/23 and can honestly say not impressed, £33 for 3 kebabs and 2 chips, 2 had chilli sauce, albeit very little even with extra sauce there was still not a lot. Very expensive for what it was, would I recommend absolutely not

It was delivered on time but our order was wrong - the only thing they got right was the small fries and they weren’t hot! I phoned the restaurant and they delivered the rest of the order another 20 mins later. They said they were really busy. It meant we waited a good 1.5hr for the right order in total. Not likely to order from there again.

Order placed at 5.30, arrived at 7.35. Very poor customer service, argued with me over the phone. Refused to accept food was cold. Said they would send a new order, 1 hour later this arrived COLD. Would never recommend this place!!

Everytime iv orderd from charcoal grill these a 80% they get the order wrong. I orderd 2 Hawaiian pizzas with extra olvies and mushrooms i got 2 pizzas with beef and black olives. Thats it. Not ordering from there again.

I ordered 2 burgers and a pizza last night, burgers were ok but the pizza arrived cold and squashed, half the cheese was stuck to the roof of the box. let the restaurant know who sent out a replacement, but that also arrived cold and squashed... very disappointed as I've never had an issue here before, but won't order from here again after this

Ordered food from them tonight. before they cook I left note online make sure I will receive food warm enough cause of the past experience from different restaurants few times I received cold food. Guess what guys??? I received food cold tonight even left notice.Very disappointed. No recommend.

The food arrived right at the end of the delivery window, took about an hour to arrive. The pizza was great, would love a BBQ base option on the menu.

Not happy at all!! I ordered, they said they wanted cash, so we had cash ready. We then phone back an hour and half later and they say it’s ok it’s way. We then phone back again in 15 mins and then they say they didn’t do the order. Not impressed. Now very hungry, young family now nothing to eat. Great! Thanks!!

i found someone riding a hog screaming HOGGGG RIDEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was not amused as i was trying to buy a chicken shish kebab after this instance the food was ok a bit soggy but also very dry i recommend to a certain degree but not if you are looking for a Michelin star restaurant!

Will not ordering from here again. Estimated delivery passed, we called the store after 10 minutes and the staff member in which we spoke to was very rude and almost questioning why we were calling. Told us the food was being prepared now and when we started complaining he changed his mind and said it would be there in 5 minutes the order then took a further 20 mins. No apology for the delay from store or delivery man

Once again, order was wrong or they tried to crook me! No cheese on the burger & requested no salad in the other! Guess what?? They put salad in & meat was cut down by a quarter! Not once have they been honest with deliveries online! Where is the honesty in this world?

Had a delivery this evening. It was awful. My friend had a chicken kebab without the pitta. For nearly £10 she got the smallest portion. It only filled half of the container and yet my other friend had a done with pitta but had way more meat. She unfortunately had an upset stomach later in the evening. We also ordered hummus which was a bought pot from Sainsburys/Tesco and not the usual made one. Even had the printing on the pot. All in all a terrible takeaway.

i was taking a leisurely stroll through the beautiful worthing road and came across this SPECIMEN of a kebab shop. Honestly so overpriced and and the food, the food was abhorrent and down right NASTY. i am willing to edit and or withdraw my review if the owner of charcoal grill is willing to give me £10 in store credit. even then that will only be enough to buy like 1 can of sprite and a chip.

Ordered a doner kebab. Very over cooked, crunchy and burnt a little. Sad as this has never happened before. Won’t be saying I’ll be ordering again anytime soon
