First time ordering from here. Some dishes on the menu we weren't familiar with and also a good selection of vegan options too. We selected delivery and it arrived well on time, piping hot and every dish tasted delicious. We'll be repeat customers for sure.

I haven't had take away for a while but had one for dinner from here this evening and the food was lovely. Also had a nice chat with the owner's son while my food was being freshly cooked. Lovely family business and good food.

We saw this restaurant had 10% off over £20 on just eat so thought we’d try somewhere new. We ordered at 8:15pm, our delivery was due between 8:45pm and 9:05pm. We had a call from restaurant asking if we had received our food around 9:15pm to which we had not. The driver (and owner we can now assume), had left his phone in the restaurant and couldn’t find our house number. We waited and the restaurant rung us again at 9:35pm asking if we had received our order to which we still had not. At 10pm I rung restaurant as we were getting tired of waiting (nearly 2hrs at this point), to which I had an aggressive manger shouting down the phone at me saying he had tried to find my house for 30mins but had forgotten his phone so he couldn’t contact us. He said next time our order will be free to which I informed him there wouldn’t be a next time. He then started to shout down the phone again making it out to be my fault that he’d forgotten his phone and couldn’t find us. He asked if we still wanted our food , to which we said yes (already paid at this point, if we hadn’t, we would have said no). Finally at 10:25pm we received our food which was ok. We will not be ordering from here again and will stick to our local Indian.

Moved locally recently and tried another takeaway which was definitely not even in the running with the sundarban. Lovely food and the chefs recommendations are bang on. I would recommend this place to everyone, well done

Awful takeaway experience via Uber eats. On holiday and ordered through Uber. Did as the app said. Owner angry and very hostile when they could contact me, as I was on a foreign number. Terrible service - don’t do it.

Yum yum yum!! Ordered takeaway and had the tastiest sag aloo ever. Onion bhaji were lovely and light too, and the paneer was great. The tandoori chicken went down a treat too, though I stuck to the vegan menu...which is extensive! Will definitely be going back and excited to try more dishes.

Fabulous currys. The lamb pathia is just stunning it's a must try! We will never order from anywhere else. Well worth the money. Thanks so much for a gorgeous dinner everytime!

Our regular go-to Indian takeaway covering the Littlehampton area. Always on point with every dish and don’t disappoint - Lamb Pathia and Chicken Korma are better than any I’ve tasted before.

Wish I had read some of the the previous reviews before ordering. Food was ok but not great. Order arrived for us to find that half of the poppadoms had been eaten and the rest smashed to pieces. Called to query and the could not be more unhelpful and disinterested. Far better curry houses around and much better customer service. Avoid this one

Rather bland and tasteless food. Not cheap either. Would not use this takeaway again.

We have used the Sundarban for many years and have always been happy with the food, we will not be using them anymore after tonight. We ordered through just eat and when the driver, also the manager brought the food to our door he was incredibly rude to the point that if we had not already paid he would have been taking it back with him. I opened the door and he immediately started ranting about the distance away we were and he won't do a small order like that again for us (the order was for £36 plus a delivery charge of £2.00 and 0.50p service charge) He complained loadly on my doorstep as if I had somehow done something wrong, all they need to is have a policy for delivery and stick to it not rant at a customer on their doorstep. After many years of using this takeaway I will not be using them again, I guess that business is good enough for them not to care about even the most basic manners let alone customer care.

Ordered takeaway last night, food is usually good but decided to order something different as well as our usual. Ordered the king prawn delight as it sounded nice.... Unfortunately there were only 4 prawns and a few bits of banana and then lots of sauce and it didn't come with the pilau rice as listed so for over £8 a bit disappointed... Won't be ordering this dish again 😒😒

AVOID!! We have used this restaurant for years now despite having the odd hiccup. Last night we placed a large order as we had guests over. After delivery we realised our order was missing one main dish and one side dish. We promptly contacted the restaurant and were advised they couldn't bring us our missing food as they were closing shortly.... this was before 9pm despite the fact the restaurant is advertised as being open until 10.30pm. The restaurant owner then called back to say they would replace the missing items free of charge next time I ordered. When I pointed out these were not free as I had already paid for them and I didn't want them next time, I wanted them today for the meal I had order. He then became very aggressive and started shouting down the phone calling me a liar several times. I informed him I wasn't going to continue the conversation with him and would take it up with just eat. his response was he will do a better job at complaining to just eat about me. Avoid this restaurant and take your business to somewhere that will appreciate your custom and treat you with courtesy. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR

Always used sundarban every week, gone down hill, every curry tastes the same the curry's are never hot no chilli.

Lovely curry, cooked professionally, large portions and at a cheap price, delivered within an hour, I order a curry from this restaurant at least once a week, I like a lamb madras but my favourite is chicken tikka masala.

Absolutely shocking. Ordered pilau rice (vegitarian) and it came with some strange looking hairy skin meat in it....... reused rice? Strange meat got into a veggie dish? Either way it's unacceptable.

Order placed at 7:05 Arrived at 8:00, well when I say arrived it was someone else's order. 5 mins later they come back with our order, said I wasn't happy and wanted my money back. They said no it'll be fine, half the food was cold only the actual curry was hot. We called just before they arrived as it had been 50 minuets, they told us it was out for delivery already and they set off 15 mins ago. We are litterally 2 minuets down the road from them. So I'm guessing our food was out for 20-25 mins before we actually had it. Very poor tonight and the last visit we had from here was poor too! You've lost my buissiness and I'm now annoyed enough to make sure other people are aware what to actually expect. Also very expensive for a curry, that wouldn't be a problem if you provided a good service but I can get far better for half the price. This is the 2nd time in a row, here is your warning people this place has gone downhill dramatically.

Excellent! Fresh food, full of flavour, lovely tender meat, generous portions and delivered on time piping hot. We will most definitely be back!
