We love going here. The owners is so nice, as are the staff. The sandwiches are good and the cake selection is great, as are the prices.

We arrived at the Rustington Bakery just as they were packing up for the day; but the two ladies present said they could quickly knock us up some rolls. The rolls were nice, but nothing special. I have given the bakery a “very good” rating as they could just have said “sorry we are closing”!

Popped in for lunch and enjoyed a fabulous tuna and salad sandwich. Lovely fresh bread and plenty of filling. Great price. Also had a lovely fresh hot cup of tea. Purchased my daughter a lovely malteser cake bar which was delicious. Definitely recommend and will be returning very soon.

Went with my wife for a quick snack and ordered two chicken, bacon and salad mayonnaise brown rolls. Really good and reasonably priced. Also bought some more rolls and a bun for later. Also good. Recommended.

Get here early as the Bread jumps off the shelves very quickly. They have agood variety and nearly half the price of the 'Artisan' Bread sold in Turners Pies or over at Waitrose. They also have a good selection of bite sized cakes, which are very yummy

Call in anytime & the food & drink are always great, as is the welcome from all the staff. Love to support a local small business than the well know 'chain' across the street.

I stopped in briefly to the bakery and found it peaceful; a nice place to take a break and enjoy one of many breads and pastries. My appetite not being too large, I only had a caramel shortbread square, which was incredibly delicious. I wish I had tried more of the items, as they all looked immensely tasty! It is a very nice place; not outstanding enough to be 5 stars, but definitely a place to go if you're in Rustington!

I have found this to be a friendly local bakery with an excellent choice of cakes/pastries. I have also found bread pudding here after many years of searching!

Often visit the bakery as I’m passing. Always have a good stock of rolls/bread and also serve the local restaurants and shops with their products. Many cakes, sausage rolls etc can also be purchased here. If you need specific items you can place an order in advance and they will have it ready. Always really good service, thanks guys 😊

6am till evening. Monday to Saturday. Bacon in a roll, (not small) for £4. Excellent value and friendly service. Large cakes and treats on offer as well. Nearly bought myself a large Danish pastry for breakfast. 😁

I purchased some bread pudding today. It is definitely not the best I have tasted and overly expensive for the poor quality. It was soggy rather than moist and lacking in spices. The service (albeit was a wet day) can best be described as reflective of the weather.

I get my lunch from here most days as I work nearby, the staff are very friendly. I can choose the bread I want and have the sandwich made to order with a good range of fillings. The cheese straws are amazing, I try to resist the cakes but it is very difficult as they look so good and are twice the size of the cakes at a food chain bakery across the road. All in all, very good value for money, I'd rather spend my money in an independent small business and support local, they never disappoint.

Paid another visit to this delightful cafe. The staff are/were very polite and helpful, the toasted sandwiches were delightful and we stayed for cake. Would definitely recommend the gluten free coconut cake, soft moist and fresh. Would have had seconds but we had the last piece. Would highly recommend a visit 💚

Somewhat smaller than the photograph suggests. Probably a bit cramped when full. Four of us had breakfast which was excellent, freshly cooked where possible, finally found someone who can do a runny egg, all of us were impressed and said we would return. I had the American breakfast, jumbo sausage, fried egg, hash browns, bacon, pancakes and maple syrup, with a slice of toast and butter, excellent value at £6.50 plus two teas. I don’t mind the tea bag being left in so I can choose the strength but others might. One colleague had poached eggs on toast the other two a standard breakfast fry up which they said was good. The only problem is that are moving in a weeks time across the river to a busier area. If they continue the high standards there they should do well. Unfortunately as in their current location parking will still not be easy. The current place is very clean and nicely presented, the staff were friendly and helpful, we will definitely give the new location a try.

Lauren the manager and great hostess made me feel so welcome and the atmosphere was so homely. Can’t be more thankful to Lauren. She serves the best Guinness in Arundel

Lunch with friends in this charming cafe with a lovely menu. I had the moules frites which was amazing, my friends had the scampi and the vegan burger. Very generous portions and delicious food served in a trendy relaxed environment in a prime spot by the river. Staff were lovely, food was fresh and served quickly - would highly recommend 👍🏻.
