Absolutely appalling service I had to remove my review before because the manager asked me to tonight someone made out they were the manager and got very rude you have to understand my point of view and you need to start understanding mental health AND PLEASE NOTE I WILL NOT BE REMOVING THIS REVIEW AGAIN EVEN IF MANAGER CALlS

Esta es nuestra opción para cuando queremos una comida confiable que disfrutamos y sabemos que va a ser bueno siempre. Lamentablemente, en nuestra visita de este domingo (19 de enero) se encontró como si estuviera mayormente escaso de personal a otro nivel. La pobre señora que nos atendió estaba tratando de hacer malabares para servirnos, revisando existencias a pesar de que acababan de abrir, diciendo a otras personas que esperaran a que nos sentaran todo el tiempo mientras nosotros habíamos esperado casi 15 minutos para que nos miraran para que nos sentaran. Nos dieron bebidas en la casa debido al tiempo y la paciencia que tuvimos, pero siento pena por el personal aquí que se presentó para cambiar ese día. La comida era sabrosa, agradable saber que incluso cuando el servicio no está disponible las comidas siguen siendo buenas. El servicio mejoró en todo y nos registraron mientras comíamos.

Chilli was busy on a Monday night – which shows how popular this restaurant is. And no wonder, some of the best Thai food I have tasted. I could not fault the vegetable Tom Kha and Chicken Classic Cashew Nut Stir Fry I had. Desserts were tasty too and slightly different – with black sesame ice cream and rice and roti. The party I was with all ate different starters and mains and everyone was more than happy with their food. I would only have two caveats on the evening - the staff were friendly but could have been a little more attentive to us wanting to order things or call for the bill. Also, a common fault, the gents’ toilets could have been a little cleaner and a touch of paint here and there would have helped. But a restaurant I would love to return to and can thoroughly recommend.

Had a great lunch on a Saturday in April. The steak was particularly good value and well cooked. My wife thought her chicken Caesar salad was excellent. The manager was great and recognised us just by our table booking time, and whenever we went to the bar she knew who we were and at which table we were seated. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant portion, loaded fries. The front of house staff member from originally from Afghanistan was superb.

My husband and myself came for lunch on a Friday in August whilst on holiday in the local area. Large pub with gardens near a fairly busy road. Much quieter than expected and we had a good choice of seats in the garden in the sunshine. Was served drinks quickly at the bar by a helpful staff member. Given menus and ordered food. Food came out quickly and was very hot. I had a veggie burger & my husband fish & chips. Tasted great! Definitely no complaints from us. Would recommend.

Este pub era el más cercano a donde estábamos alojados, así que lo visitamos. Las primeras impresiones de entrada fueron horribles, la zona exterior estaba sembrada de basura y terminaciones de cigarrillos, las terminaciones de cigarrillos luego iban a lo largo de la entrada y subían las escaleras para ser recibidos por un anciano en la puerta fumando. El interior es de muy buen gusto, aunque estaba claramente escaso de personal. Una chica estaba dirigiendo el bar y unas cuantas personas esperando salieron. Finalmente nos sirvieron y encontramos una mesa. La comida es buena y sabrosa. Los baños no habían sido revisados y estaban desordenados.

Nice place to drink an afternoon beer. It remains a nice place to drink and I will be visiting again soon.

The historic ambience of this old Coaching Inn makes for a pleasant spot to have dinner . Staff were friendly and helpful . However .... Many menu items were missing ( e g only 2 desserts ) although some extras were offered . Some items were significantly over priced e g > £6 for a few 1/2 slices of bread and the desserts . The quality of the turkey main was poor ( dry & overcooked ) . When it was mentioned a free dessert was offered - thanks . Overall not what I would have expected for the price charged .

Another pleasing visit to Maliks. Always a warm welcome and attentive staff. Decor is lovely with a dark theme and tall ceilings with panelled walls. Food is very tasty and always well presented. Staff on hand at all times ensuring the dining experience is all good. Prices just a little above average at about £18 for main course but we were willing to pay for quality food in a relaxing environment. Recommended.

I hope the workers see this I went to order a pizza about ten minutes ago and they must of had a nasty customer over the phone but that's not my business the point is that they were rushed off there feet and still delt with everything with such kindness

My husband and I visited the Eyston Arms last night for an evening meal. Joining us was our elderly dog. We were given a delightful table in front of the fireplace. The service was so prompt and friendly, even supplying a blanket, water and biscuits for the dog. The starters of chipolatas and pork belly bits were delicious, as were the mains which was the pie of the day. The bar area and the tables were all buzzing with patrons on a Wednesday night which is testament to the quality of this pub. I wish the Eyston Arms was my local pub!

Popped in to this cafe last Sunday for 2 x regular black americano's & 2 x slices of carrot cake(GF) & wont be making this expensive/disappointing mistake again. The coffee was weak/tasteless and the'slithers' of carrot cake wouldn't have fed a gerbil. AND they charged £5.25/slice! Outrageous con. Everything seemed too much trouble for the woman at the till and all this to the accompaniment of barking dogs v crying babies.

I've been in and ate 3 or 4 times now and it's the only Costa I go to were the staff don't seem very happy or friendly. They don't go that extra mile which is disappointing. They never seem to have the full range and they gave me a dirty spoon last time I went in which was Monday 25th of November. Drinks and food very nice, service not so great.

Long Que this morning to find out that literally only one person on shift, madness, poor guys expected to be an octopus. Reece was professional and very calm as I'd be flapping like a pheasant at a shoot
