Yummie Pizza in Brighton and Hove

Very good :) The first pizza place to remove the sweetcorn for me, pizza was very tasty and the delivery driver was kind and delivered it nice and quick, this will be my choice of pizza place going forward!!

So you think you’ve had a real good pizza? Well not like this!

Food wasn’t good, tasted medicinal/synthetic so went in the bin. Delivery guy rang from inside his car to say he had arrived. I paid for delivery which wasn’t far. The concept involves getting out of the car and delivering to the address. Poor show all round.

I have been having food in that lovely place for few Years now, and the quality/service/taste/value is extraordinary!!! Never had any bad belly issues, I LOVE THAT PLACE ! Mikey. Above and beyond !!💗💗💗

So where do I begin, I’ve ordered food from this place of Deliveroo and I was patiently waiting. The time I ordered the food was at 2:34am, they accepted the order and it says it was on its way after a little while. I got a voicemail from the driver at 2:57am saying that he’s waiting outside and he’ll leave in 5mins if the food isn’t picked up. My room is right next to the front door and there was no knock or anything to tell me my food was at the door. The driver didn’t knock on my door, didn’t leave my food outside, or notify me through the app that it’s arrived. The driver took of with my food and now it’s been nearly 3 hours since I’ve ordered it. This restaurant is dreadful and there’s no customer service in this establishment. It took them 3 hours to say that my food has been delivered when it clearly wasnt at all. Won’t be ordering from here again yet alone go in to this place to get food. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Food was cold. Ordered half pound burger. No mention of any cheese on the menu but burger arrived with cheese which for someone who is lactose intolerant is no good. Ordered pizza as well and the toppings were either missing or so sparse on there you could hardly see them

The food was fine however next time maybe send the driver with change so I don’t have to overpay for my order because your driver is standing there confused on what to do.

Food mostly didn't match description. "Vegan cake" was almost frozen (turned out to be cheesecake - couldn't work out if it was really vegan). Vegan garlic pizza - decent but quite underwhelming. Vegan chocolate "pizza" was instead a set of doughball-like pieces with a vaguely chocolate filling - quite flavourless and sat in large patches of filling which looked edible but tasted quite the opposite (burnt). Thought vegan selection looked decent and good value but I was sorely disappointed.

Outstanding service! I placed an order around 1:30 am via Uber, and despite the lack of Uber drivers available at that hour, the restaurant staff went above and beyond by personally delivering my order. I was thoroughly impressed by their dedication and will definitely be ordering from them again. The pizzas, a pepperoni and a BBQ chicken, were both fantastic. Highly recommend!

Great portion sizes and super tasty

Its nice they try to offer vegan options but please- dont. dry, chewy, less then minimum amount of toppings. and the garlic bread was worse. extremely overpriced for what we recieved. even the regular options were disappointing at best.

Ordered an XL pizza so glad it was the right size swear anywhere else you go and is the same size as the large! Stuffed crust was great and I had a thin pizza base which I really like

Soul Crushingly Poor. They are under new ownership/management. They used to do a very nice mini Garlic Pizza Bread with Cheese £3.99 for or x2 for £5. I thought something seemed off when I notice the staff were new and VERY young. I made the mistake of assuming that it would be the same receipe. The x2 for £5 offer wasn't there anymore so I assumed it had been removed due to rising costs. I was not prepared for the soul crushing disappointment of what I received. White, barely cooked dough, with a tiny bit of garlic spread on it. It looked like something a kid would make in Home Economics and bring home from school!!! I brought it back to them and the VERY young man did offer to remake it. I didn't have time and I had ZERO faith this new management could make something edible. That was pathetic. And if you're wondering why is this guy making such a fuss over a 7" £3.99 Garlic Pizza Bread. I could be saving you money and disappointment. If this was McDonald's they just screwed up a regular fries!! Beware before you spend money with the new management at Yummie. Especially are an old regular.

I have done so but have had an email saying your inbox is full. I am therefore using this review as the only other means of writing to your business. In the interest of reasonableness I am requesting you clear your inbox as I will be resending this email to you at 5pm this afternoon, as this email contains notice of my intention to bring a court claim for the refund which was never issued to me for my order with you, in addition to my evidence supporting this. I would like to offer you the chance to respond before I make this application on 5pm Saturday. If I don’t hear from you I will assume you do not wish to try and resolve the issue and will proceed with the claim but hope I have made it clear I am trying to deal with this professionally directly with you out of court! I also don’t think it’s right that a business can take money from and then ignore a customer… 🤷‍♀️ (Anyone else reading please take this as a review of services—basically if you have any sort of issue with Yummie Pizza they will be very difficult to speak with and you will need to take your own action…!)

DO NOT ORDER - no contact, no delivery, no refund Put in and paid for a ~£30 order directly through their website today around 2pm which did not arrive, I called an hour later and the number on their website went straight to ‘caller busy’… same thing later this evening. I have no way of contacting them to get my money back and no communications whatsoever as to why the food did not arrive. Would definitely avoid in future. Edit - In response to the response below re. a refund and order cancellation, thank you for responding however I have NOT had this money refunded into my account, and in any event would have appreciated if this cancellation/computer error had been communicated on the day of the order or soon afterwards and by email and not via google review… please let me know who to contact for a refund (and proof of the same)

Ordered pizza for collection. When arriving home I discovered they had given me the wrong pizza and forgotten my dips which I paid extra for. Pizza was otherwise of middling quality.

They Tried to charge me for two pizzas even though their deal was a buy one get one free. They tried to rip me off then told me they couldn’t give me a refund on the Apple Watch that I paid with. They wanted me to put in my card details which I didn’t have at the time. They then swore at me and called me names when I asked if I could have the refund back onto my Apple Watch.

No fatto a mano, but great value! Quality beats Dominos

Worse service I've ever received!! 2 hours and 20 minutes now since I've ordered. Called 4 times to be told 20 minutes or 30 minutes more wait for the delivery driver. Got hungry kids waiting for their dinner and down £35! Absolutely joke. Rude and unhelpful staff just argue and hang up the phone.

Do not order from this restaurant, we ordered 2 pizzas, one of which was the bolognaise pizza. However, when it arrived there was no bolognaise in sight. We then called the restaurant and were told that they hadn’t any bolognaise all night despite the order being placed on the phone just 45 minutes earlier. We then called the restaurant and asked for a partial refund and they said the driver would be on their way back with cash for this. The driver never arrived, and now they won’t answer our calls. Nothing but a scam (and below average pizza)

I have just eaten there. Really tasty pizza and I love the vegan pizza as a way to include vegans and people who are lactose intolerant. The man is italian and so kind. The large pizza is big enough for two. It’s not too expensive.

Love ordering pizza from here! The food never disappoints, the produce is high quality and tastes authentic and fresh. They always have really friendly delivery drivers aswell.

Yummie pizza, Brighton. Hmm, the pizza here had me conflicted. On the one hand, the toppings were okay, decently portioned, if a little haphazardly placed. Average flavours, not great but not bad. The bbq sauce had a nice flavour to it. Could have been spread better, some slices had more sauce than others. My issue was the base. It had the texture and consistency of bread. There was no "chew" to the base, in fact I'm hard pressed to even called it a pizza base. It was like eating a naan style bread with melted cheese and assorted meats on top. It just seemed, off. I love pizza, but this one just didn't hit the spot, which is a shame because it looked great, and was relatively well priced. Service was quick and the staff were polite. So no issue with the restaurant. The pizza was a little lacking in my inexpert opinion. Not the worst pizza by far, but a little below average for me. If you like bread based style pizza, then this is the spot for you. But pizzaphliles may find it a little underwhelming.

Absolutely disgusting salty pizza I can’t believe they sell this to people and they’re still in business, honestly if I could give it less than 1 star I would’ve but unfortunately Google won’t allow it, if you want a good pizza go somewhere else don’t waste your money with these people.

Really tasty pizza and a really good deal too. I ordered with Uber Eats and for some reason the delivery was delayed and drivers changed 3 times. I got really worried as i had seen reviews of cold pizza arriving and stuff. Thankfully and some how, they managed to bring the pizzas and they were still nice and hot. Both pizzas were tasty and garlic bread and wedges were great too. Was very satisfied with this order

I order vegan pizza. It was absolutely amazing. Unbelievable taste of vegan chicken and pepperoni. I recommend to try the Vegan Chicken Feast

Visited here while staying in Hove. Ordered a vegan pepperoni pizza which contained real meat and dairy cheese!! Thankfully I did not eat it but this is very disappointing as this restaurant should not advertise a vegan menu if they clearly do not offer this!! Avoid if you are vegan or vegetarian!!

My favourite spot in the area for a dirty pizza. If you like sourdough, poncy pizzas with nduja on them a) grow up and stop listening to dream pop and b) go somewhere else. These pizzas are great and I love the staff.

never order from here i paid £30 and our pizzas did not come kept ringing and they kept putting the phone down! they screamed at us!! and they shouted at me in the end they delivered a “veggie” pizza which had bacon on it!!!! i rang to tell them and they put the phone down never ever ever order from here!!!!!!!!!! never ever order from here!! i will be ringing the council on monday this is disgusting!! do not order

Reasonable prices and they don't skimp on the ingredients like some other well known pizza places. Also one of the few places that offer calzones and a huge selection of toppings, sides etc.

Don’t be put off by ageing decor, the food is good. Warm cookies with family deal are amazing. Good value too.

WARNING: VEGAN PIZZA CONTAINS MEAT. Ordered 4 pizzas earlier on today, 2 of which were ordered from their "Vegan pizza" range. When these pizzas arrived they were served with real ham and real chicken and not their Vegan substitutes. When I called back, I spoke with a chap on the phone who clearly knew very little English and struggled to understand my complaint. I was told I would be called back by the manager who spoke better English. Finally after numerous calls I was put through to the manager who told me if I wanted a refund I would have to come into the shop. When I arrived at the shop at 10:30pm I was told I was only going to be receiving my refund for 1 pizza as I had bought 4 pizzas on the 3 for the price of 2 deal. As always the customer is never right and I walked away with my miniscule refund, the cost of petrol to the shop, £10 out of pocket and my time wasted.

Ordered 2 vegan pizza and both actually came with meat on .This is very poor . Beware if you are Vegan .Had to go back to the shop myself to get a credit card refund at 11pm .They did not get what we were complaining about ..Will be taking the matter further

ordered from them a decent size order for the first time due to an uber-eats deal and it was worth it. wehn food turned up on time the staff were polite over the phone and when they got here the food was great. the kebab was one of the better things because the amount of meat in it was a great deal for the price. will be ordering from them again soon.

I absolutely love ordering from this place! The pizza is always soooo delicious and fresh. If I ever want pizza, I'd choose Yummies over a Pizza Hut or a Dominos anyday. The cheesy garlic bread is also always so nice too. Really friendly staff and delivery drivers. The fact they are open till 3am on Fridays and Saturdays is super helpful too because I always get peckish on my night shifts. Can't fault this place at all. Will be a forever customer. My family have a take away once a week. We had pizza this week and as a vegan it's hard to find good pizza. This place is a game changer. Hands down the best vegan pizza I have ever had.

Lovely food!! Never had a bad order and its my favourite takeaway. I order through the app and always updates me and the food has always turned up nice & hot also tastes SOO good...been trying their cookies and they're delicious! Its either on time or early so I really do recommend this place if you're looking for a great takeaway :)

Ordered Pizza and Pasta via foodhub. Called them after an hour asking about the order. A guy replied, they didn't get any order and then a silence. After silence, the same guy was telling there was some problem with the online system. They got my order and will send. After an hour the guy called saying they don't do pasta it was a mistake on foodhub website. I had no other choice but to got for anohter pizza. Finally the food came almost after 3 hours. The best service so far I had in the UK.

Good pizza - when it arrived. The order was estimated to take 45 minutes, it still hadn’t arrived over 2 hours later. The delivery driver got lost, had the wrong address and apparently if you order online you get a free garlic bread but we didn’t. Great ordering service and good website but not the best experience.

Pizza is amazing, delivery's always fast, and the people there are very nice. To add to that, you have lots of freedom when ordering, too!

Friendly and just what I needed

First time order from this pizzeria last night, and boy it was soooooo tasty delish! We really enjoyed our pizza and calzone, it was inhaled in minutes! The delivery was before the allocated 45 mins and didn't break the bank! Thanks Yummies, you are my new pizza take out go to!

I'm not normally a big fan of take away pizza but I was waiting for my bus home, after a few delightful beers, when smell of the pizza escaping from the shop enticed me in. It was a flavour of delight and I've enjoyed many more pizzas from them ever since.

The guys are always on job, with very friendly service. Pizzas always piping hot and the cookies are luxurious 😍

The pizza is outstanding! Way better than Pizza Hut and Domino’s. Great wings and onion rings. The prices are pretty cheap as there is outstanding offers such a single pizza offer and buy 1 get 1 free . The delivery is very quick! The staff is very welcoming and friendly

Just moved to the area and I have had yummies twice now... Absolutely everything I look for in a fast food takeaway...quick service and food being reasonably priced... The delivery driver is a good man and the food tastes great.... Realy happy
