Costa in Tonbridge and Malling

Since Costa recent advertising I longer enjoy using that company.

Friendly efficient service. Food and coffee was good.

Free parking available. Inside and outside seating. Plugs for ur chargers. Always nice to sit and have a treat after shopping

So busy this lunchtime but they steadily moved through the queue and kept tables clean as well! Well done!

All very nice and predictable but my goodness, it's so NOISY! Coffee grinders, ice grinders, refrigerators... all combine to kill conversation! Do others notice that too? Or is it just me being a GOM?

No food, just coffee. Very welcome.

An excellent pop in place for a quick snack. Overlooks a Halfords, so not a quaint tea shop, but a nice atmosphere nevertheless.

Really lovely experience at this Costa. (Others could learn from this one) Spotlessly clean, with efficient, fast and friendly staff and the best flat white I've had in the area. Thank you 😊

It's always a nice stop when I get a craving for a toasty.

Friendly staff, didn't have to wait long for food and drink to be ready. Drink was tasty and the panini was nice apart from some weird onion or something in it.

Service very slow, only two staff on that we could see.

Persistant staffing issues so often closed or on short hours. When it is open it might as well be closed as service is rarely with more than two people who interact more with each other than customers.

Weird customer service. Strange my coffee was made with Bob milk in a costa. I went back to pay for 1 water and they were at back room chatting all 3 of them. So I given up afterwards I just left

Pretty good, standard Costa. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was served very quickly and drinks were of good quality. My consistent issue with Costa is the cost, over £20 for two drinks, two smoothies and two pieces of cake and a small pizza is expensive but I suppose it's what you expect from Costa.

Is this place ever open? Today it was staff shortages, previously they’ve had no milk and no ice. Card machine rarely works. Please close so we can get a decent restaurant in there.

it’s very hit and miss and that’s if it’s open ! staff can be a little rude but has had a fast staff turnaround drinks are over all yummy cafe it’s self is clean and tidy wifi doesn’t always work and the store is a dead spot so don’t expect signal untill your outside being refurbished at this very moment , so hoping it will be a lot better after

Staff walked away to sort waste bin as i thought i was going to be served. Didn't wash their hands before attending to a customers toastie .GROSS !!

Costa, or whoever runs this location needs to grab it by the scruff of the neck. Understaffed, so often that most of the time it's takeaway only. When you can sit in, the tables are dirty and the seats have yesterdays food on them.

Very poorly managed. Had to wait to even place an order at the till at 8am! The staff in the Costa in the town need to come over and show them here how to run a cafe

Not always open when they are meant to be. Also allow you to order collection via the app then stay shut all day. When you then go the next day they tell you to email Costa, no apologies.

Walked for quite a while to get to this Costa shop. I was looking forward to coffee and some breakfast, and the usual relaxed and cosy atmosphere of a Costa coffee shop. I was quite disappointed to find a note on the door, saying “due to the shortage of staff, we offer only takeaway items.” There was another note informing clients that the wi-fi did not work. I looked inside, chairs piled on top of each other, no staff to be seen. The place looked like a ghost town. I wasn’t sure if it was even open (8:45 am). I didn’t even bother trying the door. Quite disappointed, I headed straight to Waitrose’s cafe, where I was totally blown away by the quality of food and coffee over there. I don’t think I will be heading to this particular Costa in the future. There is a much better alternative nearby.

Never opens on time. The staff look at you through the window like you’re crazy for trying the door even though they should be open going off the times on the door.

Great location, nice interior, worlds worst Costa? Barely ever open for several months now due to broken down coffee machines, water leaks, short staffed, alien invasion etc. Closed early, never open, only open for takeaway the lottery goes on (and on). If you're lucky enough to actually buy coffee, the last few occasions the service has been plain rude.

Good coffee , friendly staff , but they have problems with the coffee machine to often PS: last 2-3 weeks always shortstaff problems always closed

we use this costa regularly and staff are always friendly place is immaculate (toilets too) coffee is always consistent (burnt beans ) this shop has never burnt the beans highly recommend

Coffee machine broken no hot drinks asked for a porridge with milk given one with water asked for milk and was told I couldn't as it was vegan .explained I wasnt but they said the cant cross contaminate ..after asking for the manager he said you can have a normal one which I did PC gone mad and customer service very poor

Great service, really good range of coffee available and staff are brilliant. A nice chilled out atmosphere and decent seating.

Absolutely amazing staff. Very friendly. Place is spacious with lots of tables but some products like Cold Brew is not always available.

We went on the 23rd Jan 2022. This coffee shop is clean compared to other Costa coffee shops we have been too. I would like to say the man making the coffee that day ,took his time and made a good coffee.

Went after "freedom Day". Great drinks and warm atmosphere, but most of seating cut off due to restrictions. As a result, it was hard to find a seat.

I spent a lot of my adult life in Cosgs and SBs. Must afmin the cappuccino here is among the best I've ever had.

Friendly, helpful staff at this Costa in Tonbridge. And great to be able to sit outside and enjoy a coffee in the early morning sunshine :-)

At 2 mins to 5pm was told they were closed!!!!

Just ordered a mocha coffee Had to pour it away as it was jus yuk ! Didn't bother to go back as it's Boxing Day

Very difficult to hear when the staff are speaking to you because of the noisy coffee machines and acoustics.

Firstly, I had to repeat my order several times. Then I was given a medium hazelnut latte when I ordered a large. I then got told “that is a large” when it was not! I was then offered cream for my mocha, I said yes. I got my latte back and then a member of staff was extremely rude and stated that next time I should pay for cream! Yet I was asked after I paid. I then noted that they had poured the MEDIUM LATTE INTO THE LARGE CUP!!!! DISGRACEFUL!!!!! We waited OVER 10 minutes for our coffees to be made and there were four staff! Two of which was just wandering around doing nothing!!!!! The way I was treated, the service was SHOCKING!!!! Teenagers behave on a better way. I doubt I will ever return to this store!!!!!

Sadly I forgot to ask for for the drink to be hot.
