amazing chippy, great quality food and great service. scampi wasnt soggy and full of flavour. chips great, gravy great, pleantiful portions

3/11/24 Premium prices but not premium food. Sunday roast with beef that was so rare and fatty that it was impossible to cut never mind eat. Lack of other food hidden by a gigantic Yorkshire pudding. Offered a free desert because of the beef, no thanks, just wanted out of there.

Great ingredients, fair price and really good staff. Highly recommend.

Food is FANTASTIC, quality ingredients and beautiful pizza oven, leading to PROPER pizza. Service would probably be 5 out of 5 for a small group but with a large group it was harder for them to manage our pizza orders, but this is a fair downside in return for quality pizza. Atmosphere used to be more relaxed a few years ago. But they were playing dance music this time which makes me eat fast and feel stressed. Bit too loud as well. Shame.

Good food, great service and great value for money.

The food here is absolutely amzaing. You basically choose your meat, two sides and a sauce. I love the chicken parma. So tasty and juicy. Its on the expensive side, but well worth it.

The sort of shop front you wouldn’t look twice at, but we were led down to a restaurant bigger than you expect. Not a swanky place by any stretch of the imagination but great food, service and value for money.

Had a fantastic breakfast here on the way back from holiday. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, especially the breakfast pancake stack!

The tastiest Black Forest gateaux that I have ever had . The cherries are fresh and the flavour is amazing . The cake is beautiful and the chocolate has the correct level of snap. Highly recommended. Cake no. 11

Popped in Kendal while on route to the Lake District by local recommendation. As we wanted a dog friendly venue. food was amazing staff very polite and attentive. Great atmosphere. Allergy compliant as one of the party had an egg allergy and the other was gluten intolerant both had great food and the staff was very aware of allergy requirements. Water bowl supplied for our dogs as well. Very good menus for vegetarians and people with allergy’s.
