The best restaurants in North West

Came in for a takeaway and was greeted by friendly staff. Thanks especially to Jordan and Beth for taking my order :)

Lovely place, definitely worth visiting. Great, tasty food. Fantastic selection of cake and amazing hot chocolate! Also in the area little farm shop and bakery.

Fabulous place with stunning views over Bassenthwaite to the west. Delicious cooked breakfast with plenty of options available, as well as buffet etc. Evening food was good too - they do a curry of the day to add to a good range of standard options. Staff were lovely and friendly. This place is a great find.

Great Malaysian food! We stumbled upon this restaurant in West Didsbury and ended up going two nights in a row. We tried nasi goreng kampung, char kuey teow, chicken satay, roti canai and mee goreng mamak. Probably the best nasi goreng kampung I've had in the UK. Also, excellent service from Farah throughout.

Great dog friendly bar. Nice chatty folk all there for the same thing. Great beer!

I have been there about 10 times this year ordering different dishes, and having eaten from over 100 restaurants in the UK is this one the best. The management, taste of the food and quantity of the dishes for the price is spot on. I dont see there is anything they can do to improve anywhere.

We always come here. Authentic Sichuan cuisine (spicy!), where Chinese also come and go every day. Moderate prices, a diverse drinks menu and a lovely interior in cheerful colors round off the culinary experience. Asian music plays from the speakers. However, you can still have a good time. The food comes quickly. This means you can quickly get back on the slopes for some perfect sightseeing in Manchester's Chinatown. We love this restaurant! Josephine & Bruno

I have never been inside the pub it seems really busy been past there when getting my bus seems like really lively especially on the weekends

Had the most amazing food at this restaurant last night, the staff were very friendly and really helpful and it had a great atmosphere. The scallops that I had were the best I have had and my fillet steak was cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back

1st time for this restaurant and not disappointed at all absolutely delicious , place is spotlessly clean staff very attentive the food was hot and plentiful we had our staters brought out with the meals so had a pick of everything we have passed this place a thousand times now we know we will be back a thousand more thankyou very much for a lovely meal

Staying at a holiday cottage in nearby Thurstonfield, we (me and friends) looked for somewhere to eat on a Saturday evening. The Drovers Rest had good reviews and seemed to fit the bill. When we arrived, the staff were warm and very welcoming. We were offered the choice of a table near the bar or in the restaurant, we chose the latter. Orders taken, food arrived fairly quickly, but not so you felt it was rushed out. We all agreed the food was absolutely delicious and that we'd made a very good choice coming here. My garlic mushrooms on a bed of tagliatelle were gorgeous. I can't personally comment on drinks, as I was driving, but the rest of the party deemed them excellent. Do go if you're in the area.
