Rudy's Pizza Napoletana - Albert Dock in Liverpool

Tried Margareta pizza as well (not taken picture) which was of average taste, Cesar salad was also fine. Seafood pizza was very good.

Pleasant discovery on our trip to Liverpool: excellent Neapolitan pizza, served quickly. We liked it so much that we looked for it (and found it) in London too.

Rudy’s is a cool spot on Albert docks that serves traditional Neapolitan style pizza. Delicious! Server was very friendly and welcoming, I heard the chefs singing in Italian and the pizza matched the rest of this very authentic experience. Thanks gang!

Well worth a visit, great view of the docks, nice atmosphere and really good pizza with plenty of choice. We were a large group and got seated upstairs, this was perfect for us and meant we didn’t disturb other diners, we were well looked after and would happily recommend

The spicy pizza with hot honey, recommended by the staff, was a highlight—perfectly balanced and full of flavor. We also tried two desserts: the brownie and the tiramisu. The brownie was delicious and a definite must-try. However, the tiramisu fell short for fans of the classic dessert, lacking the rich, authentic taste we expected. Overall, the pizza and brownie were winners, but the tiramisu could use some improvement to meet expectations.

After years of wanting to try the famous Rudy’s, we finally got round to visiting! Wow we’ve had Italian food all over the world and this has definitely got to be one of the best! Claudia was an absolute gem and looked after us. Fast and smooth service with a smile. Thank you ❤️ look forward to visiting again soon!

Good pizza at a good price with small waiting times, what more could you ask for?

Stopped in for a solo dinner while in the area for a conference and had a great experience. As soon as I was seated, the staff were attentive and friendly, with tables being cleared and reset quickly for new customers. I was seated right away for my reservation, even though I arrived a bit early. The service was efficient but still warm and personable. Nektaria, who served me, made great recommendations and let me know upfront what wasn’t available, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Calabrese pizza and added on mushrooms and olives each for a £1, along with a cold, refreshing homemade lemonade. The food was hot and tasty, and arrived within 10 minutes of sitting down! Even when the place got busy, they were on top of everything—my plate was cleared promptly and I was given the dessert menu without needing to ask. I also got the bill quickly when I requested it. The atmosphere was nice too —warm overhead lighting and a rustic wooden interior made it feel cosy and welcoming. Overall, a smooth, pleasant dining experience and although this was a one-off visit, since they’re a chain, I’ll definitely be checking out another one near me!

The pizzas were excellent as always and they took my mums allergy seriously, however the first front of house chap we were greeted (can’t say welcomed) by was a bit of a crank, no smiles, very little charm in dashing the menus and walking away before we were at the table, not particularly helpful in trying to help my mum identify a drink she had had previously and loved. Not the best start to a birthday experience for my lovely mum. Think he was a manager, not setting a great example and can’t imagine very inspiring for his team. Anyway. The other two servers we came across were far more charming, friendly, helpful, hospitable and really improved the atmosphere and overall experience! Really valuable players to their team!

I had my first experience at Rudy’s Pizza, and it was absolutely amazing! I’m from Manchester, and there are a few Rudy’s locations around my area, but I only got the chance to try it while on a day trip to Liverpool with my partner. The Triple Pepperoni pizza, with extra chilies, is hands down the way to go—packed with flavor and the perfect balance of spice! Joe took care of us today, and I have to say, his service was outstanding. He was super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Great food and even better service—definitely a spot I’ll be returning to!

Disappointing visit this time around. Two out of three pizzas were under cooked, my margarita had minimal topping and was bland and rather tasteless. Slight mix up in order which was rectified.

Amazing venue, amazing food, amazing view of Albert Dock, and amazing service from the staff, especially Nata and Jordan. The pizza is so good that it can compete only with pizza from Italy. One of the best venues in Liverpool—I never get tired of it.

Rudy's Pizza serves up some of the best pizza I've ever tasted—dare I say, even better than the pizza I had in Rome! The staff were fantastic, especially our helpful waiter who gave us great recommendations. Kudos to the amazing chef! The pizzas were generously sized and absolutely delicious. Sadly, we were too full to try dessert. The Negroni was also excellent, and everything about the experience felt truly authentic. If you're in the area, Rudy's is a must-try!

Saturday 12.30, restaurant with 3 tables occupied, no cue outside "Do you have reservations?" No, then no pizza. If you do bake in 60 seconds, we would eat in 5 Min and go. You don't know management, tall guy with the beard told me off when I asked quickly to have pizza -"it is called reservation" if your restaurant is empty, you are not eager to serve fast one person, being condescending, what would be the pizza? The same. Do you feel you are chef Ramsey in a TV series? Maybe not. This is a second time you act the same. Stay empty with reservations.then

Garlic Bread was sublime. Pizza was hot and not bad at all. Wish they’d offer a smaller portion size option maybe.

I went to Rudys on Monday with my son for his birthday. I have never been to a restaurant that was as considerate and welcoming as this. The staff were so kind. I hadn’t taken any cake or candles but they had a candle for his brownie when I asked. And the food was divine. Totally recommend.

Place is almost empty but they gave us next available reservation after 2 hours. We decided to sit outside in freezing cold. We finished ours in about hour and 15 mins no other customer came. White we were leaving another family came and they said same thing next booking after 2 hours. They got upstairs empty (one staff was on phone all the time.) Pizza’s were nice so still recommend if you manage to sit inside.

Ok. In short, this is the number 1 pizza place in Liverpool. Specifically this Albert Dock restaurant. I have ate here many times. It offers the most authentic Italian pizza in Liverpool, the dough is almost identical to pizzas I’ve had in Naples. Their regular pizzas are always great and the specials are sometimes amazing. The staff are always fantastic, super friendly, and support the Italian atmosphere. They were lovely to allow us to bring our own tiramisu and we shared it with them. The drinks and dessert options are great. Aqua Panna is the best water in the world by the way. The tiramisu is very good too. This Albert Dock restaurant is the most conversation friendly as unlike the other two disco restaurants, this has the music playing on a lower volume. Overall 10/10

I'm in love with this restaurant. Since discovering this place, I've been dining here at least once a week. The food is delicious, and the service is incredibly friendly and attentive to even the tiniest details, especially waiter Nata. Another bonus is that their food is so good it can truly compete with authentic Italian cuisine. It's amazing to enjoy Italian pizza right in the heart of Liverpool. I feel like a 5-star rating isn't enough—I would give it 10 if I could!

The best pizza I have eaten in a long time. The only drawback, but it is not the establishment's fault, is that there was no place inside and we had to eat outside and it was quite cold. My recommendation is to book to eat inside. Without a doubt we will return quality price without sense highly recommended the one with pepperoni and honey

Got to be one of the best pizzas I've ever had and for the price we paid we was surprised at just how nice they are. Fair priced, fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection would definitely go again. We arrived around 8pm on a Sunday and they did say without reservation it was an hour wait but they managed to squeeze us onto a table so I would definitely book a table in advance to save disappointment

A divine act of pizza making is occurring here

Arrived at a busy time on a Wednesday evening, the service was excellent, the (manager?) was very accommodating to find me a table as soon as possible so I could enjoy a meal for one. Pizza was amazing and not badly priced at all, plus considering how busy it was the food came out fast! Vicente was the waiter for my table who was so friendly and made sure I had everything I wanted. Will be sure to come back next time I’m in Liverpool.

Busy Saturday evening, a lot of people inside and despite that they manage to prepare 4 pizzas for takeaway in just 15 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised when really kind member of stuff told as that our pizzas will be ready in 15 minutes. We came back in 14 minutes to collect them and they were just on the way from kitchen to us. And most important pizzas were really tasty. Really good Napoletana style pizzas

Poor attitude/ behaviour from unkind server SHARON 24/8/24 @17:37. Ticket no: 9002 Was Disinterested and unhelpful/Instructed us to a dark space to order food, out of sight of others. No seat offered . SHARON was Unhelpful with pointing out pork, said Fennel sausage was chicken! SHARON Told us, my disabled child and I to wait outside for order, despite a number of empty tables. SHARON, told us to move from an alleged reserve seat ( no reservation sign). SHARON to avoid confusion with others was 5ft 3”, blonde bob, pale complexion, & were a grey cardigan, was very unfriendly & unkind.

We were on holiday in liverpool and came across rudys and decided to give it a go and we were so glad we did , we had a garlic bread to share to start with and it was amazing and the pizzas were just wow. Honestly the whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Today we had the opportunity to have lunch at this restaurant and in general I could say that the price-quality ratio is quite good. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it was good. They have waiters who speak Spanish which is appreciated.

After a week of fish and chips and steak pies, for the last evening before leaving we risk a Neapolitan pizza. What can I say, never was a gamble better played! Real Neapolitan pizza, with a crust, ingredients, cooking and dimensions worthy of Naples. Tiramisu as if my wife had made it and expressed that it can finally be defined as such after a week of slop. The guys who work there are helpful and kind, the location is truly beautiful. I feel sorry for people who have never been here. Easily the best meal of my life! Staying over for the weekend in Liverpool, and my husband and I ate here last night and we are booked in again tonight because it was so good! The dough, delicious. The sauce, scrumptious. The toppings, to die for. The dipping sauces? Well, they will take you to the moon and back. The staff are wonderful, welcoming and very attentive. Overall, if you don’t come here at least once in your life for the best pizza you’ve ever eaten, you’re missing out!

Wow! Went for lunch, and we were one of the first to go in when it opened at midday. Within half an hour, the place was nearly full - always a good sign, in my opinion! The food was served quickly and it was delicious! The pizzas are big, and we probably could have shared one between the 2 of us - we know for next time. Luckily, the staff were more than happy to give us a takeaway box. The staff were kind and attentive too! Absolutely cannot wait to go back so I can try the tiramisu!

Came to Rudy’s today to try the Tonno (Tuna Pizza). It was beautiful 🫶🏻. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Food also came really quick! Also reasonably priced place to eat pizza on the docks ❤️

I will start this review with the positives. Some of the staff are lovely and will try and make your experience as you hoped. Unfortunately this is all I can say positive. We booked a table for our anniversary and were drawn in by the promise of pizza and a view of the docks. I should have known better, when I booked the staff member I spoke with was curt and didn't even let me finish my sentence afterward before hanging up, giving them the benefit of the doubt be it busy or what not we headed in hoping for a lovely treat. After experiencing the staff member again at the door rudely addressing us, we were shown to our table by our server, the highlight of the experience. The table was cramped, the volume of the music rivalled that of the bars present along the docks, to the point me and my partner were having to nearly shout to speak across the very tiny table. The food. Burnt, odd tasting and we eat a slither before regretting picking the place. The garlic bread we had prior to our main was discussed by us and the table across and compared by us both akin to a slightly warm and soggy cheese sandwich, my partner adds, where was the garlic. We were offered deserts to try and redeem the experience but we declined as we had, had enough at this point. Avoid at all costs!

Great food and a great chain I find the food is brilliant at every Rudy's pizza you go. Right on the canal/docks so beautiful setting. Was busy but still got served well and quickly enough. A friendly waitress served us and wasn't pushy with us either to order more or something expensive. Great quality pizza at a decent price. Recommend
