A true hidden gem!!! Couldn’t recommend this place more. When you’re visiting Liverpool, Botanical Garden is a must visit! If you want to drink where the locals drink on a nice day, this is the place! Incredible drinks, music, cocktails & food. This independent is just all round great vibes and the staff are the best part. Dog friendly too!

I recently visited the Botanical Gardens bar and had a fantastic evening, thanks in no small part to the wonderful staff, Laura and Sam. The bar itself is a hidden gem, offering a serene, botanical-themed atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The decor is a perfect blend of nature and modern design, with plenty of greenery that really lives up to the name. Laura and Sam were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the night. Laura, with her extensive knowledge of the drinks menu, helped us choose some outstanding cocktails, each crafted with care and creativity. A beautiful new drink which we all tried. The Botanical Gardens’ signature drinks, infused with fresh herbs and unique flavours, were a highlight. They were, mixing up cocktails with flair and always ready with a recommendation or a quick chat. What really stood out was the personalised service. Laura and Sam took the time to engage with each guest, making sure everyone felt looked after. It’s rare to find a bar where the staff contribute so much to the overall experience, but at Botanical Gardens, Laura and Sam do just that. Overall, if you’re looking for a bar with a great atmosphere, exceptional drinks, and staff who truly care about your experience, Botanical Gardens is a must-visit. Laura and Sam have set a high standard for hospitality, and I’ll definitely be returning.

service and food were great , until i got to the deep fried olives and cheese bites . very salty .

We had a party here on Sat 6th July a d everything went to plan and was better than we expected. The service was great (Sam is the best barman / cocktail maker and all round nice guy), the music was good and the food was fab! Highly recommended and we will be back.

My second favourite bar in the world behind Berlin's Cafe Luzia. Legend has it this place was where I had my first ever alcoholic beverage many moons ago...and I've been returning ever since. Exquisite ambience, groovy tunes, a beautiful and grungy post-industrial backdrop and ever-smiley staff make the Botanical Liverpool's finest oasis.

this venue is fantastic. Only issue was the fact that I spent more time Shazamming than eating my pizza. Which by the way, the best pizza ever. If you want to eat some good food, good drinks, with good music, get yourself over here.. My new fav place in Liverpool

Is it summer in liverpool if you’re not all meeting in the botanical garden for a cold drink? Always so welcoming and friendly, that we end up relaxing and staying far longer then intended. If you can bagsie a spot on the bleachers in the sunshine you’re in for a lovely afternoon.

Little find on our way back to our apartments in the baltic triangle. Staff were so friendly I had to leave a review. Went for one, stayed for 4 hours, sat outside next to a log burner as the sun went down. Great selection of cocktails. Thanks for looking after us!

This outdoor gin bar is a really nice spot for an afternoon drink in the sun. Price is fair and service was quick and easy. Perfect for couples or small groups of people! Dogs are welcome too 🙂

Such a cool place, great plants and decor , outstanding drinks and fantastic music. One of my favourite bars in Liverpool, not to busy when we've been in the afternoon but I'd guess it gets packed on a weekend evening.

Loads of delicious gin cocktail options including slush, and there's some lovely looking pizza and sides for scran to accompany the beverages. Lovely hidden spot if your not careful you could miss it, nice suntrap with a great selection of cocktails and the food there is perfect for a little snack on the go first time going there on a Saturday looking forward to drinks there in the future staff are super friendly

Reopened for upcoming summer season ; a G8 stop off on my way home Fantastic gins & the pizza from the consseion " hot moments mess " are to die for and I'm not really a pizza person.£8 for what I had freshly cooked with G8 ingredients.

Great little bar in the heart of the Baltic Triangle. Outdoor beer garden which is just brilliant in the sun. Wide variety of drinks to choose from and genuinely lovely bar staff as well :)

We were visiting from Reading and popped in. The bar staff are absolutely lovely, friendly and chatty. The gin slushies were fantastic if not a little dangerous. The atmosphere of the place was relaxed. We enjoyed it so much we went back the following day. Definitely in my top 10 bars. Keep up the good work

Lovely sunny late afternoon spent drinking gin and cocktails. Botanical Garden is a very chilled bar for all ages. Staff are lovely and couldn't be more helpful. Definitely will be back during the summer.

Really bad experience, we got today the 10K steps the famous promotion and what a rip-off. With the promotion you can get their house gin completely free and they add you without any suggestion another Gim cup without your consent. Imagin the situation, on the table with 2 drinks and of course you have to pay the price for that, when with only one is enough. Very disappointed with the waitress, she ripped us off and now I have to drink two cup when I was looking for one cup. So my piece of advice is that be careful with the promotion. What a shame because the place is wonderful. With this kind of professional the experience is not the same in the restaurants. In this kind of business, cheating is not the best alternative

The best place to soak up the sun and enjoy a drink or two on a lovely summer's day or any other time for that matter. A warm welcome awaits you from their very friendly and helpful staff and the range of gins, cocktail suggestions and beer is brilliant. We happened upon this place one evening during our visit to Liverpool and never thought of going anywhere else! Such a lively fun place but you need to go early to get the best table/perch, particularly at the weekend but worth the wait if you have to. There are pizzas and chips if you want them to soak up the alcohol too!

Turned up to full capacity, went on a walk for 10-15mins and manged to get a space for 2 of us. Drinks were delicious, sun was shining, friendly staff and doorman, and DJ was playing a great selection of world music influences that warranted a tip.

Went for my friend’s 23rd and we had an absolutely boss time. We were freezing so the staff gave us blankets and cups of hot water to keep warm and were so friendly and attentive. One of the staff members, Naomi, was so lovely to us all and it turned out it was her first day and we were really shocked because she was great! Drinks were amazing, DJ was great and the doorman was really nice. One of our new faves

Place looked nice but chef was very rude

Nice place and all but we got kicked out because we were “not drinking enough”. They let the other people that were going to take our table in and stood by our table until we left. I won’t be going back. Also no beer on tap, only overpriced local beer in a can (not bad actually).
