Having been stuck in traffic that was even worse than usual, we took a spur of the moment decision to stop at the Hare and eat instead of enduring rising blood pressure. I'm so glad we did. Dinner was just what the doctor ordered and the fun banter with our waitress, Fabbey ensured we really enjoyed our visit and our frustration was replaced with smiles. Excellene service.

By far the worst subway I’ve been to. The woman that served me was on the phone the whole time with earphone in her ear speaking in her own language. The least she could do was to pause her conversation whilst serving a customer. I was there with my 1,5 y old niece. She drowned her sub in sauce. I contemplated saying something but honestly couldn’t be bothered as she was too busy on her phone. Few months back we had an unpleasant experience there trying to order a gluten free sub, the guy that served us was rude we walked out. Safe to say I won’t be going back again. and reading all the other comments it seems this is quiet consistent level of service.

Been waiting "ages" for them to reopen, and because they are new and not long open the menu is basic, but the food was good, plenty of beer choices, lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff. Just hope tye menu gets somewhere back to how it was before, ie :- goats cheese starters, fish n chips, and definitely needs desserts 🍨 🥧 🍦 🍡 🍧 . But all in all, we enjoyed our little trip out for tea.

Disappointed only one draft real ale beer , two others not available even on a Friday afternoon. More worrying this pub chain , Marstons operate variable pricing so pint of bitter (Wainrights) was £5. Same beer that afternoon at nearest other Marstons £4.50. Last Friday same beer £3.65, Tuesday that week same beer £1.72. Emailed Marstons to confirm there variable policy….no reply.

Amazing Atmosphere, Delicious Food, and Unique Vibes at King’s Castle Preston! I recently visited King’s Castle in Preston, and I have to say, it’s an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and uniquely charming. The decor is one of a kind, and the sight of a car right inside the restaurant adds a quirky and fun touch that sets it apart from other places. Now, let’s talk about the food – it’s simply fantastic! The brisket toasties are a must-try. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and really hit the spot. The menu offers a variety of other great options as well, but the brisket toastie is something you’ll want to come back for. What really impressed me was the pricing. Despite the high quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for money. Overall, King’s Castle offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience. The combination of great food, a cool atmosphere, and excellent pricing makes it a spot you’ll want to return to. Highly recommended!

Great fish and chips ! Great prices to , staff are always helpful and they have some great deals on . They even have meals for the local community who are struggling with the cost of living ! Would highly recommend! Monday Fish and chips for £4.99 who can complain at that ! Especially when it's freshly cooked infront of you !

We visited this restaurant for the first time before we went to the cinema next door. We both had garlic bread, one plain and one with tomato. Mine with tomato was lovely except the middle was a bit undercooked. My partner had the chicken and chorizo paella which he said was just OK. I had the spaghetti bolognese which was tasteless and bland; really disappointing. Strangely we had to pay by bank transfer to a personal account which felt a bit dodgy to be honest. And the manager sits in a corner with his beady eye on everyone. Don't expect we will visit again.
