I used to work at their factory at Bamber Bridge, Preston. They are filthy people. They are using common wellington shoes in the factory, i had to wear the wellington shoes used by different people and it is dirty. They are using overseas people for work. My shift was 2-10, but i have to work upto 10 past 10 and even more for which i do not get paid. We mean to be there at 2 pm and mean to work up to 10pm. Most of the factories are finishing and cleaning 5 to 10 to minutes before the end of the shift. They keep on working even after end of the shift, some times 10 or 15 minutes more. It is hard to find any English face there. They do not pay for any break. Packing is disorganised and can see sandwiches and other end products on the dirty floor. I have got electric shocks twice from the packing machine and when reported they told me to use rubber gloves before touching the machine and even not bothered to mend it. I wont buy any thing from B&M made by this factory. Beware of Doggy Dave down there he is filthy and using Asian workers as body guard.

We decided on a chicken burger meal each from the website along with a garlic bread and cokes- all via Just Eat. The website is fairly extensive which should suit most tastes. You can pay with most major cards via Just Eat. Fair enough it all arrived within the fairly short stated time frame by a smart friendly delivery driver and piping hot too. The meal itself was " okay" and had to be said filled a gap. Chips weren't too bad although the garlic bread gave the necessary carbs on its own. I don't think this takeaway deserves a 5 star rating although in comparison to the other national competitors like Dominoes Darione is a lot better. Would we order again? Yes of course!

Arrived unannounced and there were 2 tables with people sat at them. Was welcomed quickly and seated quickly. Drinks order taken quickly and brought to table quickly. Menus given (however was not offered a child menu so presumed there wasn't one) Food order taken in a timely fashion, 2 burgers and a side of onion rings. The menu, I imagine should describe what comes on the plate, so with that in mind, the particular burgers ordered didn't mention onion rings (other burgers on the menu did) so I ordered the side of onion rings, which from memory were circa £5/£6. A family arrive without booking and are dealt with pretty quickly, but I overheard them offer the menu plus a children's menu. So I was quite annoyed about that, as I knew my 12 year old wouldn't have eaten a full adult portion. Our order was already in about 10/15 mins prior to this, so didn't raise the issue as I felt like it was too late. Our burgers arrive and each burger had 2 onion rings on top and I mentioned immediately that I only ordered the side because the menu didn't specify they came with onion rings. I felt this went ignored upon delivery of the food. The chips were great. The burger bun itself was greasy on both the chicken and beef burgers due to the onion rings with grease dripping out of them, on top. So fingers/hands were immediately greasy upon touching it. Tasted fine, but greasy. The side of onion rings literally had pools of grease under them on the plate, but were crispy enough and tasted fine. When I went to pay, I again mentioned the onion rings were only ordered as they were left out of the description on the menu and all that was said was it would be fed back. No actual apology or deduction of even a nominal amount to make up for the additional, unnecessary spend. (I get that it was only 5 or 6 quid, but that isn't my point) the wireless/contactless payment terminal also dreadfully slow, which wouldn't normally have been much of an issue, but the onion rings were still playing on my mind lol. Unlikely to return as other options available within same price range with better service. (That isn't an attack on the 2 servers that dealt with us, as they were both pleasant enough, but raising an issue twice whilst keeping my annoyance back re child menu and greasy food... and the fact my daughter left a little less than half the burger, I didn't leave feeling that they acknowledged the fact I had a larger bill due to no child menu and main menu being incomplete) I have given an average'ish, rating as it was an average experience.

This was our first visit to Charnock Farm. Lovely setting but the service and food would benefit from improvement. The chips were delicious, cheese bacon burger was OK, had much better elsewhere but the lasagne was a little burnt and scorching hot in places but lukewarm in others like it had been overheated in a microwave. I found the service rude, unlikely to return.
