Usually my go to subway location, when we walked in there was nobody there to serve us. We also noticed when we pulled into capital they was stood out the back smoking so we waited a while before someone came out. Once we received our food we left and once we opened the packaging realised that the food was so badly made. The sandwich wasn’t even folded together correctly so all the toppings were everywhere but on the bread. The paper wrapping was left around a toastie so had to try and remove the whole sandwich to get that off and then try to get it back in whilst it was soggy and wasn’t even good. Sorry Jodie but I’m disappointed.

By far the worst subway I’ve been to. The woman that served me was on the phone the whole time with earphone in her ear speaking in her own language. The least she could do was to pause her conversation whilst serving a customer. I was there with my 1,5 y old niece. She drowned her sub in sauce. I contemplated saying something but honestly couldn’t be bothered as she was too busy on her phone. Few months back we had an unpleasant experience there trying to order a gluten free sub, the guy that served us was rude we walked out. Safe to say I won’t be going back again. and reading all the other comments it seems this is quiet consistent level of service.

Just been in today at half 5pm on the 23rd of Oct, was served by an outstandingly rude woman who was on her phone the entire time she was serving me even with an earphone in one of her ears. It seemed as though she was on a phone call as she was laughing to herself as well. She also gave me the wrong drink and hardly payed me any attention. This made me feel quite uncomfortable and I hope something is done about this.

Asked for a spicy italian, was told don't do that anymore.... despite the fact it is salami and pepperoni and both ingredients are in stock.... asked for a bmt then asked for no ham, lo and behold a spicy italian was made. Jason who served me made a comment to someone that it's isn't spicy or italian..... yeah, just like you're a sandwich artist yet don't have a shred of artistry in you. Safe to say, won't be returning.... hopefully you read all these bad reviews about yourself Jason and change your attitude because it really does stink

STAFF - two of the staff looked 12 years old and had no idea what they were doing - they were on their phones and didn’t look up or say thank you when I left - one of them beard net and half of the beard was out of the net so it looked silly SERVICE - had to wait 5 minutes in line before I could order because the staff were counting change and on their phone - one of them was also making themselves a sandwich before serving me FOOD - they are always out of Italian and herb cheese bread - this is the 3rd time I’ve been in and they have ran out partially probably because the staff eat it HYGIENE - the shop floor is always dirty and the area smells like body odour - in desperate need of a deep clean and air freshener

Really disappointed in the service by this subway today with no help from the staff. This was my first visit in some time and had not come across the new signature menu so when I asked for a steak and cheese (as it used to be) I was given a garlic cheese steak which is not remotely similar and of course I was not able to ‘make my own’. This would have been fine if I had been able to at least add some jalapeños onto my sandwich but I was ‘advised’, or mumbled at, that I wasn’t even able to do this. Overall just not a good experience at all. Whilst we were there we also heard people having the exact same issue. I feel like this could be a really simple fix if the staff simply asked when you ordered whether you were ordering from the menus or build your own the manager Jason is a total disgrace and very rude

A seriously shocking service today. The manager was absolutely horrific and that’s not even a strong enough word. He was totally incompetent, rude and unhelpful towards numerous customers while we were there. He even went so far as to verbally attack 4 people for not understanding the menu. The guy was seriously useless. He admitted one of the staff was training and in all sincerity, if he’s the one training them, they’re going to be screwed. He had no idea how to deal with the situation and instead of trying to help and rectify it, he just told customers it’s their problem. I’ve never seen anyone so ill equipped to deal with a situation, especially a manager. Abysmal.

The manager, Jason is very rude! After me and my daughter ordering each a sandwich, one with drink and crisps, he told us that we can't sit and eat inside as my daughter had a Starbucks coffee with her. He waited until I paid to let us know. After questioning this "rule" he said that "you don't take fish and chips to a restaurant". I maybe would understand that if we didn't buy food there, but in our case what he did is unacceptable! Never again this place!

Insanely rude service. Everything was difficult for them. Ordered a kids pack and had to actually ask for the drink and the snack to be given. Everytime we asked something we got a rude response. The manager was also rude to us whilst paying, we didn't know what he wanted from the app for the deal we wanted to use. He was not helpful and was talking to us like we were stupid The person on the till was rude and didn't even know what she was doing. Absolutely disgusting, I would advise against visiting here.

The manager Jason who works here was extremely rude when me and my family tried to make an order, we asked if we could have a sub melt but substitute the beef for meatless steak to make it vegetarian, he was very rude about it and said he can’t do that, making faces at us, he said the machine costs money and can only make set menu items? ( the sub melt did not have a vegetarian option) We then switched to ask for the meatless Philly, and he said we can’t have it if we want to add or remove any ingredients form the set menu, after which he said if we want to change our order to just go to McDonalds. After all that we made our own but his attitude was as just bad. We were polite and genuinely asking why we couldn’t change items to suit our dietary requirements. I’ve also never had this issue at literally any other subway, they just make me what I asked for.

went in for a sandwich at around 11am there was nobody there completely empty the man with a beard serving me was absolutely incompetent and rude, he rolled his eyes at me and i was huffed at as if its not his job to make me a sandwich. i felt very judged and as if i was annoying him. never in my life have i had such bad customer service and after reading all the other reviews about this place it seems to be an ongoing occurrence. never going back! not to mention the sticky and filthy tables, this man should get fired if he cannot atleast have respect for the customers!

I would actually give a zero if I could. The tables were all filthy. Staff were rude. The sandwich was all soggy and when I asked the male staff for a new sandwich he offered to retoast it to dry it out. Saying he has been a subway chef for 15 yrs and knows how to make a sandwich. Ordered teriyaki chicken salad didn’t ask me if I wanted chicken warm then forgot the teriyaki part, then when eating I get a chunk of tuna in the salad with was vile! My partner said he had never seen anybody go green so fast! Got a child’s sandwich the bread was very stale and hard she could barely eat it even as a toddler took the bread off herself and just ate the chicken inside, it’s almost like they’re vouching for bad reviews and competing for bad reviews with their equally bad rival dunkin donuts opposite the car park.

Got lunch for my daughter and I around 1:35 today July 28th. Absolute shocking customer service! The 2 guys were literally sighing at me as I try to order… rushed us, rolled their eyes at us, interrupted us… really the worst customer service. Pathetic customer service..rude arrogant worker puts 2 of the smallest scoops of steak on a footlong and when i asked for more refused to put anymore on, saying its company protocol i get 2 scoops...even though 4inch had no meat on it whatsoever. I booked on line as it was for a birthday lunch. I did not get any confirmation of booking so I rang to confirm. There was no answer so I left a voicemail. Still no acknowledgment. We turned up anyway, and they had our booking. Good so far. I asked for a pasta dish, to be told they only did those at night. Fair enough. We were given a menu, but told they hadn't been shopping!!!!!! so they may not have a full menu. Sadly what we wanted was unavailable as they hadn't been shopping. I thought you would go shopping before opening for business. Sadly we left without dining. On the plus side the waiter was pleasant.

A lovely fresh and well presented restaurant, the staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. There is a wide variety of choice and the food was delicious and great portion sizes. Overall we had a fantastic meal in a lovely setting and found it to Be great value for money, we will be returning again.

I used to work at their factory at Bamber Bridge, Preston. They are filthy people. They are using common wellington shoes in the factory, i had to wear the wellington shoes used by different people and it is dirty. They are using overseas people for work. My shift was 2-10, but i have to work upto 10 past 10 and even more for which i do not get paid. We mean to be there at 2 pm and mean to work up to 10pm. Most of the factories are finishing and cleaning 5 to 10 to minutes before the end of the shift. They keep on working even after end of the shift, some times 10 or 15 minutes more. It is hard to find any English face there. They do not pay for any break. Packing is disorganised and can see sandwiches and other end products on the dirty floor. I have got electric shocks twice from the packing machine and when reported they told me to use rubber gloves before touching the machine and even not bothered to mend it. I wont buy any thing from B&M made by this factory. Beware of Doggy Dave down there he is filthy and using Asian workers as body guard.

Went to try to get lunch on a Friday, was stood waiting in eyeline of a member of staff, for several minutes with no response, then to eventually be told "we aren't serving food right now", no explanation on why, or when service would resume, if it was an issue, or I just needed to wait 5 minutes, etc. It's a shame as usually the food is excellent, but my last visit was very poor, and prompted us to eat elsewhere.
