Ordered hot food and it came stone cold

Asked for double meat and double cheese, this was not done also placed normal cheese on meatballs when asked for no cheese due to the fact I can’t eat normal cheese. Takeaways seem to miss a few things each time I order.

The guy serving didnt have a clue. Asked for extra tosted and it wasnt. When i got to the till the bloke doing the payments tryed to charge me a footlong because i had diffrent salard on each side. I wont be going back rude

Ordered a footlong Italian heart bmt. Sent a bmt with Italian herb …… can’t eat that so the order was a complete waste ended up in the bin . Very disappointed

By far the worst subway I’ve been to. The woman that served me was on the phone the whole time with earphone in her ear speaking in her own language. The least she could do was to pause her conversation whilst serving a customer. I was there with my 1,5 y old niece. She drowned her sub in sauce. I contemplated saying something but honestly couldn’t be bothered as she was too busy on her phone. Few months back we had an unpleasant experience there trying to order a gluten free sub, the guy that served us was rude we walked out. Safe to say I won’t be going back again. and reading all the other comments it seems this is quiet consistent level of service.

Just been in today at half 5pm on the 23rd of Oct, was served by an outstandingly rude woman who was on her phone the entire time she was serving me even with an earphone in one of her ears. It seemed as though she was on a phone call as she was laughing to herself as well. She also gave me the wrong drink and hardly payed me any attention. This made me feel quite uncomfortable and I hope something is done about this.

toasted sandwich wasnt hot - little to no sauce in sandwich and baguette way too hard

Asked for a spicy italian, was told don't do that anymore.... despite the fact it is salami and pepperoni and both ingredients are in stock.... asked for a bmt then asked for no ham, lo and behold a spicy italian was made. Jason who served me made a comment to someone that it's isn't spicy or italian..... yeah, just like you're a sandwich artist yet don't have a shred of artistry in you. Safe to say, won't be returning.... hopefully you read all these bad reviews about yourself Jason and change your attitude because it really does stink

Sub wasn’t toasted. Bread was soggy. Also ordered a pepperoni slice that looked like it hadn’t seen an oven

Ordered one footlong and it took nearly an hour to be delivered. Bread was rock solid like it had been left for a while.

Ordered a foot long chicken sub with customisations, payed 17 pounds for it to come with only chicken and lettuce.

STAFF - two of the staff looked 12 years old and had no idea what they were doing - they were on their phones and didn’t look up or say thank you when I left - one of them beard net and half of the beard was out of the net so it looked silly SERVICE - had to wait 5 minutes in line before I could order because the staff were counting change and on their phone - one of them was also making themselves a sandwich before serving me FOOD - they are always out of Italian and herb cheese bread - this is the 3rd time I’ve been in and they have ran out partially probably because the staff eat it HYGIENE - the shop floor is always dirty and the area smells like body odour - in desperate need of a deep clean and air freshener

Really disappointed in the service by this subway today with no help from the staff. This was my first visit in some time and had not come across the new signature menu so when I asked for a steak and cheese (as it used to be) I was given a garlic cheese steak which is not remotely similar and of course I was not able to ‘make my own’. This would have been fine if I had been able to at least add some jalapeños onto my sandwich but I was ‘advised’, or mumbled at, that I wasn’t even able to do this. Overall just not a good experience at all. Whilst we were there we also heard people having the exact same issue. I feel like this could be a really simple fix if the staff simply asked when you ordered whether you were ordering from the menus or build your own the manager Jason is a total disgrace and very rude

A seriously shocking service today. The manager was absolutely horrific and that’s not even a strong enough word. He was totally incompetent, rude and unhelpful towards numerous customers while we were there. He even went so far as to verbally attack 4 people for not understanding the menu. The guy was seriously useless. He admitted one of the staff was training and in all sincerity, if he’s the one training them, they’re going to be screwed. He had no idea how to deal with the situation and instead of trying to help and rectify it, he just told customers it’s their problem. I’ve never seen anyone so ill equipped to deal with a situation, especially a manager. Abysmal.

The manager, Jason is very rude! After me and my daughter ordering each a sandwich, one with drink and crisps, he told us that we can't sit and eat inside as my daughter had a Starbucks coffee with her. He waited until I paid to let us know. After questioning this "rule" he said that "you don't take fish and chips to a restaurant". I maybe would understand that if we didn't buy food there, but in our case what he did is unacceptable! Never again this place!

If I could give less stars I really would. I asked for something extra willing to pay yet was snapped at by the MANAGER in his own words it's comes exactly the way it comes on the board!! this was completely rude and not a pleasant experience at all Very poor customer care skills. Best wrap yet, sometimes can be lightly filled even when asking for double meat but this time it really was filled

bad service, poor delivery, driver sat at the restaurant for 15 minutes with food going cold. waster my money on this. just eat service has gone down hill over the last month or so.

Insanely rude service. Everything was difficult for them. Ordered a kids pack and had to actually ask for the drink and the snack to be given. Everytime we asked something we got a rude response. The manager was also rude to us whilst paying, we didn't know what he wanted from the app for the deal we wanted to use. He was not helpful and was talking to us like we were stupid The person on the till was rude and didn't even know what she was doing. Absolutely disgusting, I would advise against visiting here.

The manager Jason who works here was extremely rude when me and my family tried to make an order, we asked if we could have a sub melt but substitute the beef for meatless steak to make it vegetarian, he was very rude about it and said he can’t do that, making faces at us, he said the machine costs money and can only make set menu items? ( the sub melt did not have a vegetarian option) We then switched to ask for the meatless Philly, and he said we can’t have it if we want to add or remove any ingredients form the set menu, after which he said if we want to change our order to just go to McDonalds. After all that we made our own but his attitude was as just bad. We were polite and genuinely asking why we couldn’t change items to suit our dietary requirements. I’ve also never had this issue at literally any other subway, they just make me what I asked for.

By the time we got the food the toasted one was stone cold the driver had been sat somewhere for over 20mins, really bad service

Very Bad. Never getting my food from here again. Ordered on just eat. Either they just cant be bothered or they guessed the order. Missing double cheese off a ham sub and 2 items of food were cold when they were meant to be cooked. Pull your finger out subway or loose a customer. Absolutely disgusted.

In a nice quiet place,always with fresh ingredients.Never had to wait,and the staff knows,what they doing.

Penwortham subway is defo the best ,clean and all staff are very friendly I think there is a new manager in there which has made a massive change

The worst service ever for the second time in this store but today was the beyond. Staff rude lied and said no spicy south west source only brought it out when I wanted to leave the whole order. Secondly ordered three sandwiches but only 2 prepared. Thirdly wanted me to have garlic sauce even though I didn’t want saying it comes with the new steak and garlic sandwich. They didn’t listen and just spoke over me

Both Sandwiches wrong, only 1 cookie turned up when we paid for 3, paid extra to have poached eggs on one of the sandwiches and this was also forgotten, no cheese on any of the sandwiches or salads when we asked for it on all. The food we did receive was nice but wouldn't order for delivery again.

went in for a sandwich at around 11am there was nobody there completely empty the man with a beard serving me was absolutely incompetent and rude, he rolled his eyes at me and i was huffed at as if its not his job to make me a sandwich. i felt very judged and as if i was annoying him. never in my life have i had such bad customer service and after reading all the other reviews about this place it seems to be an ongoing occurrence. never going back! not to mention the sticky and filthy tables, this man should get fired if he cannot atleast have respect for the customers!

Delivered to the wrong address and is now cold

Order 3 items, all of which were incorrect. The most concerning was that they substituted chocolate chip cookies with cookies with nuts in them without contacting us.

Really poor service! Manager really rude! Customer service none existent and when I was given incorrect offer information the manager rudely snapped and blamed the fact staff were new!! Won’t go back.

I had enough rewards to get the smallest size side so I got the nacho chicken bites then they gave me 4 piece nacho chicken bites saying thats the smallest size when on the board it said 6 piece!!! Highly disappointed

I would actually give a zero if I could. The tables were all filthy. Staff were rude. The sandwich was all soggy and when I asked the male staff for a new sandwich he offered to retoast it to dry it out. Saying he has been a subway chef for 15 yrs and knows how to make a sandwich. Total idiot 😡 The sandwich was inedible, gave it back and left 🤬

Ordered teriyaki chicken salad didn’t ask me if I wanted chicken warm then forgot the teriyaki part, then when eating I get a chunk of tuna in the salad with was vile! My partner said he had never seen anybody go green so fast! Got a child’s sandwich the bread was very stale and hard she could barely eat it even as a toddler took the bread off herself and just ate the chicken inside, it’s almost like they’re vouching for bad reviews and competing for bad reviews with their equally bad rival dunkin donuts opposite the car park.

The air-conditioning unit has been broken for years. It's way too hot and uncomfortable in there.

Guys behind the counter all miserable especially the Chinese girl. Cooker was set to high so the bread was coming out slightly burned so was like eating a rivita. Tables hadn't been wiped in what looked like hours. Get more staff for a faster paced subway like this. Service was to slow

Got lunch for my daughter and I around 1:35 today July 28th. Absolute shocking customer service! The 2 guys were literally sighing at me as I try to order… rushed us, rolled their eyes at us, interrupted us… really the worst customer service. Not the first time we had a bad experience at this place but today’s was by far the worse. The menu is not updated as they no longer serve certain ingredients but are still in the board and they tell you off for not knowing this! Never again

Why would u put refrigerated drinks in the same bag as hot food? Our food was completely cold and inedible. Chips were rock hard and the footlong sandwhich wasn’t cut lol. £30 on food that we didn’t eat. So disgusting.

Pathetic customer service..rude arrogant worker puts 2 of the smallest scoops of steak on a footlong and when i asked for more refused to put anymore on, saying its company protocol i get 2 scoops...even though 4inch had no meat on it whatsoever. Who wants a salad sandwich?? So i said ill have something else and he muttered under his breath...what a waste! And disapeared into the back for the next 10minutes. What happened to making it to the customers liking.

Very rude service , they had hardly anything behind the counter, not enough produce to fulfil the orders . Told that the ham was not available on the but menu asked if we could have extra on the other meat told yes but they would charge extra . Again, rude comments from the male assistant stating we should have come earlier in the day . Won't be returning

Absolutely disgusting service. Rude, ignorant and completely disinterested in customer service. The breakfast subs were bland and the latte so weak. I’m shocked as I usually enjoy ordering and eating at subway but this member of staff won the badge for worse customer service experience ever.

Only came less than a mile but it was cold !!

Subway has gone downhill, changed the menus to different names however they put less meat in, they think you don't notice but you do, less ham, pepperoni and salami in the BMT. Also the bread is now thin and weady. Drinks loyalty cards are no longer used and all the prices are now far too high. I'm not going to go anymore, it's a shame been going for many years but the greed of SUBWAY will be their downfall!

Arrogant delivery driver who tried to give it to two other houses before arriving at mine. I asked why he hadn’t contacted me, when he got to the first wrong address. He said he didn’t have my contact details even though he showed me his app that said contact customer. I don’t know who the guy was as it didn’t give me his details on my app!! The food is stone cold not impressed at all!! At least get delivery drivers who know the area of Preston before sending them out to do a job they know nothing about.

Delivery was great. My drink and cookie are missing though!! This is the 2nd ordered I have had recently with incorrect or missing items!!

Haven’t left a review for a Subway before, but felt obliged to do so. Having worked in one when I was younger… bad service, disinterested staff and sloppy sandwiches always annoys me. However, I need to give some kudos to the manager of the capitol centre branch (wearing black). Great service with a smile, organised and engaged, and leading by example for the rest of the staff - who were also on the ball, during a busy period. Thanks for a delish butty.

Ordered because of ease and delivery time, when it's late it ruins plans.

The choice of music is questionable. No AC so was too hot to sit in and eat.

the place was dirty, the bathroom was dirty the staff where rude, when serving us, and the food portions where ridiculously small. the food was tasty but i was really disappointed.

Consistently bad, ordered 12", got 6" - that's happened more than once. Another thing to expect, ask for toasted, it will come like a brick - literally inedible, again, happened more than once, bread crumbles to dust. fk ordering from here again.

Very poor portion sizes and the guy working there has very poor customer service skills. He needs re-training.

Ordered footlong and cheesy nachos and got sent a packet of Doritos in replacement for the nachos. £4 for a packet of Doritos, requested refund. Delivery was brilliant!

Subway missed half of the meal we paid for off tried to call them about this and they would not answer

25 minutes queuing despite only having 2 customers in front of us. One staff making sandwiches and two in the back seemingly doing nothing. Very limited options available too. Overall really dissatisfied

The sandwich I received was tasty but I got sent cheese bites instead of cheese garlic bread.

Food was good but I received the wrong order, a chicken tikka rather that chicken teriyaki.

for 8.79 think it’s shocking that i got one slice of each meat on my sandwich £21 for 2 sandwiches and can’t even be generous with it at least!!

Guy was as slow as a snail, rude, restaurant dirty, didn’t change his gloves handling money and touching salad, didn’t wear a net for his HUGE hair beard. Overall the guy should probably work somewhere else if he acts like this at 8pm on a Friday… when it isn’t busy.

Driver Went the wrong direction on the map and went miles and took a while to come and the food was cold when the driver eventually arrived I was not happy one bit

Normally like subway, currently sat in the Capital Centre in Preston. One of my friends has gone veggie, asked for a veggie deluxe which is 2 slices of chesse( the american style triangle cheese) not sure what is deluxe about it! It didn't even cover all the bread, asked for some gratted cheese on it literally dusted a sprinckle on it then charged an extra 40p for the privilege When i asked at the till about the sandwich and price the guy said well thats what the farmers charge and shugged his shoulders, shocking Customer service not sure hospitality is the role for him. Don't buy a veggie deluxe if your expecting anything more than a slice of cheese on very dry bread!

Ordered my food to be toasted on tiger bread. Item arrived not toasted on normal bread.
