Yet another fabulous meal at The Supper Club at The Village Kitchen. We visit an array of restaurants very regularly but have had to become regulars here because it is just so good, waiting, with great anticipation, for their release dates every month. I cannot rate the food and service at this place highly enough. Last night was a delight - every course was a taste sensation from the steak tartare to the plaice, the venison and even the bread. Everything was of the highest quality (and, as my other half would confirm, I’m fussy!). The staff are the most lovely people and so accommodating. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual but, nonetheless, you feel like you are doing something special. The Supper Club should be on your restaurant you have to visit list.

Would just like to say don’t ever think about booking an event with alderly edge golf club!! Not only are they not good at maintaining contact to arrange catering, but ONE week before my moms 50th they phoned to say they have cancelled catering! We are now left scrambling to find a place. Alderly edge golf club epitomises unprofessionalism unorganised and everything negative that come with organising an event!!!

I’ve eaten here many times and attended the New Years Eve parties. The food is delicious, and very well priced. The staff are attentive and can’t do enough to please. There’s always a pleasant atmosphere and the owners make an effort to get to know their regulars making you feel right at home. They are willing to adapt the menu to suit individual tastes. A great place to eat.

Stopped here for the first time after a trip to the park and library with our granddaughter. Very busy with lots of customers and dogs , which are very welcome. Found a table and enjoyed the best toasties we’ve had for a long time ! Lovely coffee and cakes , a brownie and millionaires shortbread certainly got our 3 year old very happy. We will certainly visit again . Thanks

Pass here often out walking and not ventured in since last year. Spotted the generously filled custard slice and went for it. Friendly people, efficient service and the tables are cleaned after each visit. Mug of tea and the custard slice was delicious, like they all used to be when I was growing up.

We look forward to our weekly visit to Kazzy's Kitchen for a delicious vegetarian breakfast/brunch. It's a clean, bright and warm café with outside seating when the weather allows. Janet and Rachel are friendly and offer a great service in a lovely local café. A visit to Kazzy's Kitchen is highly recommended.

Really disappointing experience my panini came out burnt and when it was re done the mozzarella panini wasn’t mozzarella it was cheddar and also came out very burnt. Asked for a take out hot chocolate with cream and when I reached the car there was no cream on my drink. Like I said a tad disappointing as we’ve been before it’s been taken over and it was really nice. Maybe just a bad day but overall disappointing and don’t think I’d visit again out of all the cafes available in the area now!

A small pleasant and clean cafe and takeaway. On the station. Very reasonably priced. Serves hot and cold foods and drinks plus snacks

Our second visit and both were extremely enjoyable. A great place to drop in whilst out walking although there is also plenty of parking. We have tasted various toasted sandwiches and lovely homemade soups. The triple chocolate brownie is delicious and the acai smoothies look fantastic too. The owners are very friendly. All in all, a great experience. Gill and Gordon

My husband and I ate here a few weeks ago and liked it so much that we decided to book again for my birthday, which was yesterday. So we make the 20 mile journey only to find the place is closed and has been for a few weeks, pretty much after we made the booking. To make matters worse was the attitude of the person inside who was pretty much laughing at the fact that no-one had bothered to cancel the booking and just shrugged his shoulders. So much for a nice birthday meal. Really disappointed in the lack of common courtesy. Gave it more than one star as a previous meal there was really nice.

All day breakfast still only £4.95, tastes good and served by real human beings. The location might be a little off-putting to some - in a corner of an indoor market building - so it's for a good bite to eat rather than posh dining. I bet most of the users have bus passes
