Lazeez in Cheshire East

Not been back to the Lazeez since the renovation and change of management…the host was amazing, a guy u could really get on with and appreciate. The food tonight was amazing!!! I don’t normally give this grade…I am a member of the Cheshire Curry Club…the Secretary…loved it!!! Good come back by Lazeez…well done, Macc’s favourite once more…

Early Bird Monday - Saturday 5:30pm - 7:30pm 4 Course Meals Only £15.99. Very good deal.

I had a vegetarian thali. It was good. The taste of both the sabzis were according to Indian's taste buds. The price(£13) was very less for 10 items in the thali. Roti and rice was less as compared to the sabzis. I truly wish to have more roti and rice for my leftover sabzis. My husband had some fried rice, it was not so impressive but okay.. kids had chips, which were made as per our request (crispy). I truly recommend the vegetarian thali, with a wish to add some more roti or rice to it.!

Absolutely brilliant place, this was our second time here, we went for our sons 18th Birthday and again the food was delicious, service was great and even got free desserts for the younger kids. We'll definitely be back

One thing Macclesfield has in abundance is great Indian/ Asian restaurants. We haven't been here for some time and we did mention to each other that we'd also not been to The Gurkha for a while either. Earlyish on a Saturday, didn't notice the 'Early Bird 4 course meal' for £13.99 but I would have to disagree with Julie S (1 review) and say that would represent excellent value. Great service and excellent food. Few whinges about the draught lager on here, I went for a large bottle of Kingfisher and it was just the ticket. Very good discounts on takeaways for collection it would seem.

We went for the early bird offer and it was just amazing! Everything was so tasty and the staff we're so friendly and polite! This will always be our go to restaurant for Indian dining now :)

Ordered Cobra beer, not sure if it was the glass or the beer that smelt a bit off. Other than that a really nice curry. I had the jalfrezi and honestly one of the best curries I have ever had. My girlfriend had the sizzling chicken chicken and again one of the best ones she has ever had. The price is however a bit steep but where isn’t, everywhere is expensive now. People are feeling it as when we left at 7.30pm nobody else was in the restaurant. If the prices were a bit less we would come more often. This is for special occasions now 1-3 times a year. If the prices were better we would come at least once a month and you would actually make more money that way? £45 and we didn’t even have a starter or any bread with the main. 4 Poppadoms with pickle tray, side of chips, rice and a salad and 2 mains, 2 drinks. £4.50 for a garlic naan it’s only bread, no way am I paying that. Still an amazing curry and we will be back.

Went in for the early bird Menu which was a 4 course meal for 13.99 however the website said 12.99 First course was 1 poppadom 2nd course mixed starter 3rd course and Basic curry extra if you want prawn or lamb 4th course Plain rice or Pila Rice or Naan Bread You cannot ask for stamp water with ice or lemon you have to purchase a soft drink or alcohol and pay there prices Also if you cannot finish your meal like my pensioner mother if you want to take it home via a Doggy Bag you have to pay Hence to say I will not be going back again for the Early Bird Definitely not value for money and Definitely not a 4 course meal

We've been going to Lazeez for the last year or more, this was the first time we've tried the buffet which was excellent. The lamb bhuna was lovely, not too spicy with melt in the mouth lamb. Plenty ofvother curries, rice and starters. The different Puri on offer were delicious, a sweet coconut one and a spicy one and entil patties which took me back to holidays in India. They also had the familiar starters and chutneys with poppadoms. Staff are friendly and attentive, Raffi was on tonight abd is a lovely young man,

Haven’t been to the Lazeez for some time, we thought we would try the early bird up to 7.30pm…good menu choice for around £13…three course…the portion size for the main meal slightly smaller than perhaps outside of the early bird but was pleasant enough…would go again.

Top Experience! Staff are very professional and friendly. Food is out of this earth delicious. I am a regular customer since 2010. Never looked anywhere else!

We came here last night, all 7 of us fed up from a bad experience at another local restaurant. The staff cheered us all up instantly. They were so friendly and attentive. We were sat with drinks instantly and the food was so quick. They even brought us some free food to try - which was delicious and I would definitely order it next time! It was reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you to the kind staff here for a lovely new year’s eve meal 😊

Ordered a takeaway on 1st December 2022. The mint sauce was thick with mould. I emailed the restaurant twice but no reply. Fortunately not ill from the rest of the food although the overall hygiene must be questionable. . Very traditional British Bangladeshi curry while other restaurants have moved on.

Best curry we have ever had - and we love Indian food! The chicken tikka masala was just wonderful, you could taste the coconut sauce. The naan was so fresh and it was all great value for money. Lovely staff that were great with the kids. Just such a nice place they I wish we had nearer home! I’d be there every week… so maybe just as well!!

Came here tonight with my family for a curry after being recommended it by someone we asked on the street as we couldn’t find the restaurants in the city. So glad we asked as the curries were fantastic! My two teens loved it and our 4 year old had a great time. She tried a spicy sauce and was a bit upset so was given chocolates and sweeties to cheer her up. So lovely and kind! She’ll be trying that next time she has curry 😂! Staff were so accommodating and when we arrived feeling a bit cold, they even blasted the heating on to warm us up. The food was great value and it really was delicious. Thank you! Loved our wee trip to Macclesfield.

My partner and I visited Lazeez this evening. We hadn't planned to come here, had just walked past by chance but I am so glad we did! The food was absolutely beautiful, by far the nicest Korma I've ever had! The restaurant was very clean and very cosy. The service we had from every staff member we spoke to was above and beyond and really made us feel special whilst we were celebrating my partner's birthday. Truly one of the nicest restaurant experiences I've ever had. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back if we are ever in the area.

The Lazeez is never going to win any awards, but having said that it will never disappoint either. Have been going there for a few years now and I can say that their food is probably not the best in Macclesfield, but it is certainly the most consistent. I have never had a bad dish and the fact I keep going back speaks volumes. I always find the service to be very good as well which helps. It also seems to be increasing in popularity as it has been getting busier recently, maybe due to the expanded menu

Best Indian meal in a long time!

This is one of the best Indian Restaurants I have eaten at. I had a lamb dish, and it really was tender lamb and not mutton. They do cheap deals early evening, but we were too late for that deal. So impressed with the quality of the food and cleanliness of the place. A fantastic experience.

Been her a couple of times for the early bird menu which is great value . Don’t buy cobra though as it was more like a shandy for some reason . Would of given higher rating other than that

Great Food, loved the set menu, very fresh and fragrant food

Service was very very rushed. When meal arrived (vegetable korma) it was frozen mixed veg - carrots, peas & sweetcorn. Looked like baby food, inedible. Complained at the time and offered an exchange for the same meal, declined & had a different meal but by then my friends had all eaten their meals. Not a good experience.

This is an excellent restaurant that do delicious food. They really take care of their guests and their food is consistently delicious. I have eaten here several times and have had a small event catered by them. My guests absolutely raved about the food, with several saying that they will eat here if they're back in Macclesfield. I recommend the Granny's Handi chicken curry, it tastes exactly like a traditional home cooked bengali curry.

Absolutely discussed that this is the shami Kebab that turned out to be £8.95 bugers with no bun. When contacted Lazeez said they are already in Manchester call back tomorrow.

Lovely place, food was nice, unfortunately they cover the sheek kebab with some extremely spicy sauce which ruined the starter, and didn't really try and fix the situation, staff were pleasant, maybe I just caught them.on a bad day

Yet another very good Indian restaurant, some unusual dishes and the traditional dishes, they have an early bird menu for £12.99 which I believe is very good value though we did not choose that on our visit yesterday 1/5/22, good service, plenty of space, comfortable seating, eating Indian/Nepalese/ Bangladeshi/ keralan, etc food is seen as no more than a spicy option BUT if you have been there then you will know how the food should taste it's not all about chillies it's flavours and this restaurant and one other in MACCLESFIELD has nailed it, so to reduce this down definitely try Lazeez Sunderland St

Visited tonight for the advertised super Sunday £9.99 deal , very disappointed to learn that the offer is in the understanding that you have to buy a drink , and water. Is not included ,very misleading , will not return , very poor and should be more clear on the menu , is this why the place is mainly empty ?

Another lovely meal from Lazeez. The curry was fantastic and myself and my husband enjoyed it thoroughly. However, we also came with our daughter (5) who doesn’t (yet) love curry. There wasn’t much choice for children and I appreciate with it being Saturday night it was rather busy but our food did take some time to come which made our night pretty late. The staff were friendly and managed to fit us in at short notice. Overall we had a lovely evening with lovely food and would recommend visiting. We hope to visit again in the future for another tasty curry.

Having used this restaurant on many occasions and not been let down I thought I would order again only this time my Mixed starter came up well short of expectation with some of the described contents missing and as fo the chicken tikka vindaloo and garlic rice most of that ended up in the bin unedible and all for the princely sum £23.00 Needless to say I won't be ordering again from this establishment.

How do these work out prices its always over what it should be . I won't be using you again disgusting not a way to get repeat custom is it ??

Avoid at all cost, horrible place and Same goes for the standard of food, when I complained I was told that the main chef is isolating and the food was prepared by the side chef. Was given a complimentary veg dish which was just as bad.

Having travelled to macc for a party I thought lezeez food was very good however I did not enjoy getting covered in beer of a new waiter I got covered head to toe I did not get an apology or anything ps I went for the early bird but and payed full price so why advertise it if your not going to stick to your promise so 2.5 stars from me but unfortunately I cannot do half stars

Very disappointing. Have been a few times before & enjoyed it but tonight they were clearly over booking & not reducing numbers under the new regulations. Far too many people allowed in the restaurant at the same time. Also when we ordered coffee they told us we had to have it in the lounge area as our table was booked for 7.30. If we'd ordered starters, mains & deserts we would have out on the street before coffee arrived! I think the eat out to help out is great for local businesses but unfortunately feel Lazeez are taking advantage of it.

We ate here on a Sunday, on their special deal, which was such good value for a really tasty Indian meal. Plenty of space so felt really Covid secure. But what is that weird blue lighting in the toilets?

First time at Lazeez often walked past thinking how inviting from the frontage, it was definitely worth the wait great interior design with an holiday like feel when sat down, all the staff were so pleasant and food absolutely fantastic well balanced and a great fusion of flavours will definitely go again highly recommend this restaurant

Ordered on just eat, was over an hour late. When we called to ask we were told, he's short staffed and it's raining. Then the absolute nugget hung up on us. No idea what the food is like as if it ever turns up I'll prob have wasted away. Won't be using again. Cocky attitudes were enough on there own. UPDATE.. FOOD ARRIVED STONE COLD, PERSON ON THE PHONE DIDN'T CARE. JUST SHOURED ABUSE AT US. I HOPE THE PLACE HAS AN REALLY UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT.

Ordered a delivery for 18.30 via Just eat. Received a text at 18.19 stating my delivery was on its way. It finally arrived at 17.40! I received a text offering a £2.00 off my next order. Presumptuous as I will never order from here again....

The food was amazing. One of the best friendly staff.

We have been loads of times and always had a lovely curry and excellent service. IIn smaller parties it is fabulous .With this in mind My friend and i booked a joint 50th for 56 people. I wish we hadnt. They couldnt cater for this many people . An hour after ordering the popadoms and starters arrived. People had their mains an hour before we did and when we did get the main we had to wait for the rice and naan bread which meant the food was cold. Some food was cold without waiting for the sides. Considering we got there at 7. Our table was the last and we got our mains at 9.30 which spoilt the night. Other customers were being served before our party..The staff were appologetic but i feel they shouldnt of taken it on if they couldnt cope with this amount of people

Not been for a while, so decided to take the wife for her birthday. Early doors visit, so not many in. Food was good (tandoori lamb chops) and service same. Only downside, it was bloody freezing (probably only just put the heating on, so hadn't warmed up yet), so ate with our coats on. Would go again .

I went here with a friend on a Wednesday night to eat in, and we got great service, but perhaps because there was no-one else in! The food was very nice, I'd certainly go there again.
