The best restaurants in Cheshire East North West

On arrival we saw that about a quarter of the menu was crossed out, including drinks and food as they didn’t have them in. When we ordered we were also told 4 or 5 of the items we tried to order were also not available, and listening to other customers experience the same thing it must have been another a quarter that they didn’t have either. The food was fairly warm and we ordered the pork belly with honey thinking it would be a glaze of honey. It was covered in honey and after a couple of minutes it was rock solid and almost pulled one of my teeth out, not to mention didn’t move when the plate was turned upside down! The seats have no padding on and were very uncomfortable. The waitresses have a very limited knowledge of the menu as they didn’t know answers to many of the questions asked by myself or other customers regarding items off the menu, and had to go and check. This was all fairly early on a Saturday night, so I have no idea how so many items off the menu were unavailable. We hadn’t been out for a meal for quite a while and were very disappointed as we had high hopes for this restaurant in terms of both the food and the service as a whole.

Great authentic pub well served ales and friendly owners running the bar. A real gem and they even sell Midori ...can't ask for more!

Order chicken tikka Marsala full of big pieces of chilli and big chunks of pineapple never had all that in one before

Consistently good food - selection of specialty soups including French onion soup which is delicious. Recommend the cheese scones. The waitress is lovely - cheerful and welcoming.

Never again. This is the second time this has happened. There won't be a third. Called in on Saturday. 1 person in, stood away from the counter, assuming he had ordered. I was stood at the front, right in front of the till. One person cooking, 3 serving. I waited, people looked at me. I waited more. They looked at me again. No one spoke to me, to say anything, not even "we're busy, we'll be with you shortly". Nothing, nada! After about 4 minutes I just walked out and went somewhere else. Really poor customer service.

OMG just had a chicken tika rogan josh from this place recommended to us but bitterly disappointed it was so dry and absolutely no sauce with it you buy a curry for the sauce but this was so dry I don’t think we will be buying from here again

Always a fun friendly atmosphere and a proper local pub. And the cheapest drinks in the village. Great occasional entertainment as well.

Brilliant burgers, tasty, fresh ingredients which you can see the lads who work there prepare from the seating as is open kitchen. Good selection of burgers for all some more adventurous, some classic and even an option for those who don't like meat. Fair prices for the quality but best thing is their lunch deal any burger lower than the burger of the month and one or two of the more expensive ones, a side e.g. fries or onion rings and a soft drink or can for £10. Well worth it for the quality and the lads in there were always friendly used to be reg customer, need to go back to be honest sometime as been missing my burger fix. Definitely best burger place in Crewe.

Authentic Italian Perfection L’Ulivo Alsager delivered an outstanding dining experience! The Spaghetti Frutti di Mare was fresh and flavorful. Desserts were a dream—Tiramisu was perfectly creamy, and the lemon dessert was refreshingly zesty. Excellent service and a cozy atmosphere made it unforgettable. Highly recommended!
