CW2 Burger by Local Burger in Cheshire East

Brilliant burgers, tasty, fresh ingredients which you can see the lads who work there prepare from the seating as is open kitchen. Good selection of burgers for all some more adventurous, some classic and even an option for those who don't like meat. Fair prices for the quality but best thing is their lunch deal any burger lower than the burger of the month and one or two of the more expensive ones, a side e.g. fries or onion rings and a soft drink or can for £10. Well worth it for the quality and the lads in there were always friendly used to be reg customer, need to go back to be honest sometime as been missing my burger fix. Definitely best burger place in Crewe.

Very cold soggy burger, first time and never again. Expensive and poor value for money. Delivery girl went away to her car after 11 seconds and the food was poor, low quality and freezing cold. Had to microwave it to be even edible.

We’ve been to CW11 Burgers in Sandbach and had a great meal. Service and food was excellent. However, it’s very small so for a family gathering on 7 people, we booked the sister restaurant CW2 in Crewe. The booking details gave information about a special offer of a pitcher of mojito for prebooked reservation of four or more or minimum spend of £30. That was the problem. When we arrived we didn’t realise we had to order at the counter - not an issue but with seven people it caused confusion. The offer was requested and proof provided but we were told it needed a ‘special offer code’ to be valid. After a very terse exchange with the Manager, he capitulated. The drink was 90% ice!! The burgers and sides were very good - nothing wrong with the food! On reflection, we wouldn’t return - their restaurant in Sandbach is far superior in service.

Unfortunately the food was late and incorrect. I contacted the restaurant and they claimed it was my mistake and the couldn’t refund. Very poor customer service. The food was also cold and half was thrown in the bin.

Superb food, great choices and really informative staff. Very welcoming and great music! Just what I needed for a chill out on my own bite to eat.

Happened to stumble across this gem whilst travelling back from Wales. At first I thought it was rather pricey for a burger however I would happily spend £10 on a luxury burger (which was what I received) I had the burger of the month, with fried chicken, curry sauce, salad, peanuts and more! So delicious and would love to come back again if I am ever in the area! Staff were friendly and the toilet was clean! Lovely spot for dinner

We live in Nantwich and usually order from CW2 burger, and never had any issues, having arrived back off holiday and not wanting to cook we ordered burgers…it must have allocated them to the new CW5 Burger. 7.18 pm our order was placed for delivery at 8pm. 8.24 pm, still no update, no call, no text….so I rang the number to be greeted by a male who didn’t seem to know what was going on, he said a manager would call me back due to technical issues….so I said “is the burger not going to be delivered?” His reply “probably not!” Then he hung up. I then tried to call CW2 and it went to voicemail. I then received a voicemail to inform me my burgers would NOT be delivered. Why hadn’t I been called to tell me of these issues? Why did it take 1hr plus for me to call and ask? Poor service.

Nice people , quality Burger , quality Fries , cooked as you want , good value in these financially difficult times - you won't eat a better Burger in the Crewe area for sure - Give them a try !

Easily the best burger I've ever had and great friendly service I had the doubly trouble burger with skin on fries. Heaven on a plate l Wish I could give more than 5 stars

Raw burger Usually really good. However my burger turned up raw after ordering on Uber eats, was supposed to be medium but this thing was practically still mooing. The delivery was suspiciously quick. Guy on the phone didn't even offer an apology at first. When I rang they said they were closed so they have very clearly just thrown the raw burger on the grill for thirty seconds to get the colour on the outside and thought 'screw it that'll do' Rest of my order was fine but this completely put me off the rest of my food

When I dropped in, it was tea time, and the dining area was empty. But it was an attractive space, more stylish and clean than the many grotty-looking alternatives along Nantwich Road. Varnished pine tables, both high and low; red-and-black table mats; red carnations in bottles; amber lanterns casting a warm glow. A wooden floor, patterned here and there with octagons; a black counter. A Polish business, maybe, to judge by voices in the kitchen. I chose a chicken burger ("Coop Burger"?), priced just under £10. It was terrific. Big piece of unprocessed chicken--crisp outside, tender inside--sticking out from a very palatable bun (I don't usually like the bread part of burger meals). On the chicken: cheese, 2 rashers of crispy bacon, and just the right amount of lettuce, red onion, and mayo. All very fresh. It held together well, so I was able to eat most of it by hand, as I prefer. CW2 was a lucky choice. Good food and ambience. When I walked past later, the restaurant had filled up with couples. Quite a romantic scene, not something you can often say about burger joints.

Found this little gem of a burger restaurant when in Crewe at the weekend. The staff were pleasant enough the food was amazing and the place was well-presented. I enjoyed the Western burger which was cooked to perfection with the rosemary chips which were full of flavour. The burgers are hand made and therefore dense with meat. Food wasn't cheap but equally wasn't overly expensive and provided excellent value for money.

Burger is probably the best I have ever had and a decent pint too staff are very polite and it's is a very clean place would recommend to anyone and I'm possibly one of the fussiest people when it comes too beef little slice of heaven

Warm service, lovely burgers and fries, proper pots of tea. What impressed me most was the way the owner handled a mistake in ordering, which I think was my fault in the first place. He promptly and graciously refunded the extra cost of the misunderstood order, brought extra fries to the table and then also then gave us the burger they was mistakenly ordered - all with graciousness and a smile. a good food and great hospitality. Thank you.

My first time ordering from them, and I'll certainly be back! The onion rings were beautiful, the fries were crisp and hot, both our burgers were fantastic! Highly recommended!

Great place for a pre match burger and fries. Good choice of burgers, fries and drink. A little bit more expensive compared to a fast food chain but worth every penny

Have used CW2 twice and on both occasions the food was cold which is a real shame as it would have been tasty if it had been warm.
