I had such a fantastic time at the club! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the people were amazing. I highly recommend it, especially because the bar staff are top-notch.

Very good service and helpful staff. Filled my son's water bottle for me when he ran out at the tournament.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff

Drinks and atmosphere were great however the food and service is awful ordered a simple margarita pizza and it came as pictured they said that the pizza had fallen apart when he cut it 🙄. Also like the add that the guy spoke to two other people on the way to bringing the food to my tables to have a chat.

Very poor food. Ruined my 70th birthday meal. 1 Had gone after previous recommendation. This time food very poor and expensive for what we had. Did tell staff about the dreadful Sunday lunch. Told had new chef recently. Very poor value.

The restaurant is very stylish and clean. The food was delicious and ridiculously reasonable in price.

Visited in December and had absolutely horrendous service! Waited over 1.5 hours for food. When the food arrived it was incorrect and we were told the kitchen was closed. We were then offered the incorrect food, which was luke warm. With two hungry children, we didn't have much choice other than taking a different tables cast offs. Really poor service from staff who didn't know how to use the tills and looked blankly at you when you asked for an update on your order. I won't be ordering food again at this venue.

Really good value food and for a football ground way above expectations. Service is quick. Location and look really good too.

Waited unbearably long for more than hour and i am still waiting, i understand there are more orders tonight as there is an event so more people coming to the bar but that should have been predicted and apparently there is just one chef in the kitchen cooking who couldn’t handle the volume. I m not sure how they usually handle business. Well ridiculously i have just been told that actually we need to wait 1.5hours or more. I would say if that is better communicated to customers before taking order i m sure we can then choose not ordering.

Didn't do bar 27. Did watch the match today though. And met the woman who does the pies. Apparently she only did 150 today. 500 for the first league match. Thank the Lord..

Great value sunday roast today. Starter and main but too full for desert. It needs more inviting signage outside and clearer idea for where to park but once inside, service was great and food was well presented and good quality.

I am a regular at Bar 27 and it is sad to see how it is now. Staff still trying the best but maybe they have been demoralised as well so not what it used to be like. When it's hard to know if open or not or serving food or not, is that not what social media is for. I asked the barman this pm when they were open next week was reply closed Mon Tues and Wed I said we'll maybe that should be put on Facebook etc so people knew, he said it was last minute I replied not that last minute cause its only Saturday pm. I think it needs to be clarified if you are a sports bar showing all sports with bar snacks that people can afford or a restaurant that is different. I wish bar 27 all the best and hope things can get better, it is hard in this industry at the mo I know too well I hope things improve soon

Guinness is good - when you can get it! Always seems to be a problem; maybe I'm just unlucky. Need to dust the light fittings above the bar. Apart from these niggles it's a good place to be - if you're into footy that is!

Lovely ambiance, foid & staff. Slight delays around the bar area for drinks, this is expected during match times but othe times need to ba addressed. Would highly recomed for dining.

An absolutely wonderful Mothers Day meal with my daughter. Food amazing, service couldn't have been better, and good value for money. Will definitely be going again.

I went for a meal on sunday and it was brilliant, i had fillet steak lovelly. Parents had roast dinner and they loved it. Is pricey but worth every penny.

Popped in for a quick drink while out for a walk, the bar was very busy due to kids football training. Drinks not the cheapest but good atmosphere

Good menu at reasonable prices.

Lovely place, nice and clean and the food was lovely and good portions. Paying was tricky when splitting the bill for a large party, however, the young gentleman who was trying to help should have had more assistance from his manager. He was very polite and apologetic, would definitely return again.

Wonderful food, absolutely lovely. It was very busy and not many waiting staff so service was a little slow tonight.

Ordered the ribs, they were rather tough and chewy; also, it was really only a half rack. Had them before and they were tough, but thought I would give them a second chance. At least the first time it was a generous portion.

Visited on a matchday. Every member of staff were really polite and helpful. A real community feeling which you can't buy. Clean and efficient at the bar. The food looked amazing, will definitely book in for a meal

We took advantage of the 2 for 1 january deal this evening and couldnt fault anything The food was beautiful, fresh and well presented The staff were attentive and friendly. We will be going back again

Myself and a mate went for some food and drinks 19 January 2022 Nice setting, great for watching sport there’s no place better in macc, and good to watch the football out on the pitch The waitresses were attentive and the food arrived quickly To start- chicken wings and halloumi fries- wings were tastey and the blue cheese sauce was nice, halloumi fries were also good, a shame there wasn’t more but it is only a starter Mains- we both had burgers, the MFC burger is a double Pattie, and the patties were good quality and cooked well. We also had the pulled pork burger which was nice Overall I’d say really good food and drink, no major complaints, we benefited from the January 2-4-1 main deal too

Lovely setting and staff. The food was decent. The chicken was moist. The pulled pork burger well seasoned and the ribs very tender even if I the sause was not to my taste. The cerliac remoulade- that I did not get.

Brilliant service and great food, you get what you pay for.

It's a nice venue. The seats are really comfortable. We were there whilst my son was doing football training. We had tea and Guinness. The staff seemed friendly enough. I'd be interested to see what the venue is like on a match day.

We went for a meal on Friday the outside looked like it wasn't open needs to be more kerb appealing. Asked for a gin and tonic, was given it in a half pint glass with no fruit when asked for a gin glass was told they did not have any, considering it is a new upto date wine bar found it unbelievable that had none, had to have it in a wine glass. Food hot and okay just average

Great food, great service, no complaints.

Looks and feels a lot better than the old Mcilroy suit . The food was cooked well but nothing caught your eye. Maybe more of the chwfs input would be a good thing. I don't think a chef designed the menu myself but overall It was nice and I will go again.
